Peaceful Farm Glamping Retreat

We had a wonderful stay at Laurel Oaks Estates and would absolutely return. The setting is beautiful and very nature-focused, which was exactly what we were looking for. The hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating throughout our stay, which made the experience even better. We stayed in RV site #1, which faces the horse pasture, and it was such a peaceful view to wake up to each day. The entire property is very quiet, and you’re surrounded by the sounds of nature — lots of birds and even the calls of peacocks. From the estate and a nearby farm, you can also hear roosters and cows, which really gives it that classic Southern Lowcountry feel. One of the things we loved most was how secluded the property feels while still being close enough to conveniences for grocery shopping and other needs. It’s a great balance of peaceful retreat and accessibility. The RV site itself is excellent — a flat, level concrete pad with full hookups. There are two RV spots, and both are set up nicely with picnic tables, fire pits, and Adirondack chairs, which makes it easy to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We especially enjoyed walking our dogs along the wooded trails and exploring the other glamping options on the property. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into each camping setup. Overall, this is a really special spot if you enjoy nature, quiet surroundings, and thoughtful accommodations.

Everything was perfect . All supplies needed were there, just needed food, drinks and firewood(is available to purchase on site) Very clean , huge camping lot, beautiful grounds and owners aimed to please. Can’t wait to go back!!!

Perfect Glamping Getaway

We stayed at little bear and had a fantastic time! The bed was very comfortable and the tent had everything you could need to cook, eat, and even had an AC unit! Very helpful in the July heat. We paddled around on the pond and enjoyed making s'mores on the campfire. Krystl met with us and allowed us to pet and feed the horses which were beautiful. Overall an amazing glamping experience. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed at Laurel Oaks in our motor home and had a beautiful site (Site1). They have 2 sites with plenty of space in between with concrete pads, fire pit and chairs. The property is beautifully maintained and the host was wonderful. If you’re looking for crazy crowds and like to be jammed next to your neighbors, this is not for you. If you want to be close enough to the beach without all of the hassle, I would recommend Laurel Oaks. We will definitely be back. P.S. …. You can also order farm fresh eggs 😊

We loved the horse trailer mini-house. It was perfect for our weekend in the area. Careful with the hot water. It is very hot and tricky to get the hot/cold mix just right.

Great beach stay

What a wonderful secluded spot to camp. We throughly enjoyed our time there for the 4th of July. It was very beautiful and away from the hustle and bustle of Myrtle beach but close enough to go enjoy the day. They were very accommodating and let the kids pet the horses and chickens. We got to ride our bikes around the trails and pond that they have with kayaksto use if we wanted to. I would recommend and will be back.

I loved RV camping at Laurel Oaks! We were meeting friends for the first time and it was the perfect spot. Secluded, calm, peaceful, with the added security of a gate that only we knew the code to. This location was close to everything that Myrtle Beach had to offer but far enough away to relax! We will definitely be staying here again!!!

What a pleasant surprise

What a pleasant surprise to find such a jewel of a location close to everything and yet far enough away you feel like you’re out in the middle of the country. Great farm, private, secured behind automatic gate with a variety of animals to boot! The RV pad is directly across from the paddocks where there’s horses and a donkey which put on quite a show the whole time we were there. Additional there’s a large peacock that roams the property Which puts on a show of his own. For the nature, lover, and the one who wants to be out and away from everything great location. Just back in hook up and enjoy nature.

Peaceful Farm Glamping Retreat

I fell in love with this property. My family and I had a good quality time there. The hosts were very friendly, and their communication was very positive. When you enter the property, you can feel they care about their business, also, the campsite is in excellent condition. I even bought farm eggs from them! This was one of the best campsites I've stayed at, and it was a blessing to my family, especially my young kid.

We stayed at Just Horsin around RV site 1 for 3 nights and we absolutely loved it! This place is so peaceful and many trails to explore. The pond was very relaxing. Would highly recommend the fresh farm eggs..We definitely will be back

Wonderful glamping experience!

Had such a great time at Little Bear! It was my first time glamping and I honestly loved it. The spot is super peaceful with beautiful views and a lake nearby. My partner and I went for morning jogs and even spotted some animals from the nearby farm. The tent had everything we needed, and the bed and linens were super cozy. We grabbed eggs and firewood from them too, which made for an awesome breakfast and some s’mores by the fire. It’s really close to Myrtle Beach, so you get that quiet nature vibe but still near all the fun. Hosts were super friendly and easy to communicate with. Definitely recommend Little Bear <3

Perfect Weekend Glamping

We loved staying in the Little Bear! The amenities this space has to offer are endless - lovely outdoor shower with provided towels, covered porch, fire pit and chairs, very clean portapotty, farm fresh eggs (that were delicious!), a grill and all the kitchen wear needed to cook, a mini fridge, flashlights if you’ve forgotten yours, extra blankets, a space heater/cooling unit, indoor and outdoor games, and usb ports connected to the bed for electronics charging. Each site is spaced out enough that you only see people when they are driving to/from their site. It feels very secluded and private. The nature is beautiful; with the pond, trails, and all of the animal sounds! The estate is close enough to the beach that we were able to spend the day at Litchfield Beach and stop at Broadway on the Beach on the way back. We loved it and hope to bring our friends to Laurel Oak’s Estate for a group trip soon!

We are a full-time traveling family of three. During the last two and a half years on the road we've stayed at almost 100 locations. Laurel Oaks Estate is on our top ten list! The property is well thought out, clean, private, and relaxing. We look forward to visiting again while in the area. Bonus: Fresh chicken eggs can be purchased during your stay and the fishing is excellent! We caught quite a few fish in the front pond.

We loved our weekend getaway in the Little Bear. This was exactly what we needed to get away for the weekend. It was very private even with other sites nearby. The hosts thought of everything that you would need to camp, cook, and have fun. It was very well done and we would definitely stay here again!!

It was literal perfection from start to finish! It’s the sweetest area, so remote and quaint! All the wildlife; fishing, turkeys and everything that you can expect to come along in the Lowcountry! Besides the fact that it is the cutest set up, the bed was super comfy, they had all the essentials you could possibly think of. I will 100% be back! Thank you for a wonderful weekend far enough away to feel like I got away but close enough for emergencies!

We really enjoyed our week-long stay here! From initial reservation process, site access info, and location, everything was great! Quiet area close to Conway/Myrtle Beach. Pond fishing, deer, turkeys, misc birdsong, private setting. If we're ever back this way, we hope to stay here again!
