Cynthia and her family have a lovely farm with many types of animals. The hosts are warm, welcoming, and happy to be of assistance. I was encouraged to take from the stacks of firewood and it was nice to have that experience as the fireflies danced in the woods.

We had the whole camp site to ourselves. We loved the relaxed atmosphere and especially loved the restaurant. The food was beautifully presented and really interesting. It was a great experience. Cynthia and her family were charming and very welcoming. We enjoyed the fireflies i the evening and the squirrels and the farm.

The directions to her place were clear, nice little farm in the back as well! Horses, pigs, ducks… There’s also an indoor bathroom which was great in our case as it rained a loooot! We were able to warm up inside for a few minutes:) Bathroom is a 2 minutes walk from the campsite.
When booking, I thought we would have a lot more privacy than this so I was a little surprised when we arrived. We had to leave early because it rained too much for our tents but our dog had a lot of fun meeting the animals haha!

We are return campers and we will be back next season. Hard to beat amenities - access to water and electricity without being attached to someone’s house or sitting in a driveway! Great views over the farmer fields and surrounded by natures colors. Perfect quiet thanksgivings weekend.

Thank you for hosting us, we had a quiet night and one of the best campfires of the season. We met two horses (one could be a donkey), the smaller horse first was happy for me to rub it's forehead, then walked 15' to the other corner so my spouse could do the same, it pushes up against the fence until the affectionate rub could get started. The host met us on arrival and everything was ready for us.

The camp area was easy to find with GPS. I am a non- French speaker.
What wasn’t so easy to navigate was where the bathroom area is. We had to travel up the road to the farm, then try to find someone to tell us where to use facilities.
A pit toilet IN the camp area would be helpful.
The sites are deep and narrow.
For us it was a place to sleep for a night. The town is a lovely, beautiful area.
I wouldn’t say this is negative- just not quite what we expected.

I really enjoyed the camp site, everything was provided there and Madam Sara, says her welcome 30min after our arrival and described everything.
The location was straight.
The camp sites was really near to each others but not all of them reserved, the water, electricity, wood and tables create an easy camping for my husband and me, as first time experience

Easy pull throughout site with lovely scenery. Firepit, electricity and water available- a real luxury for such an isolated location. Situated On a farm to table domain. Our dogs also enjoyed the large wooded site.

Domaine de la Templerie was perfect for our first camping experience. Everything was there as noted on the site. Both Cynthia and her husband dropped by when we arrived to ensure we were settling in ok. We just purchased new electric bicycles and were able to ride on the country roads that were not too busy. We will definitely go back and plan a bit earlier so we can reserve and take advantage of the farm to table meals!

Great spot! Not necessarily for the camping, but for the farm stay / farm to table experience. We couldn't get our ducks in order in time to reserve a spot at the Farm to Table restaurant, and after getting a glimpse of the dinner vibes (aka a great time!) we will have to come back. I felt like I was in the Alps at a Hutte - same atmosphere 👌.
Cynthia was amazingly accommodating and made us feel right at home. She even warned us that our sites electrical wasn't working and moved us to a new site in advance of our arrival. Since the alternative site had 30 amp service, she brought us an adapter so we could charge our EV.
The only thing I’ll note is that it’s a tad awkward heading into the main dining area in your jammies to brush your teeth and wash your face before bed, but the guests didn't seem to notice since they were having such a great time.

We camped here for 3 days. It’s a quiet place. Toilet and bathroom were very neat. Hosts were kind and welcoming. There are many groceries stores within 10 mins and even Tim is less than 10 mins drive. Overall we enjoyed the stay. Tap water and electricity is just in the site.

RV Sites with water and electricity hookups. ~50 CAD per night. The hosts are great: friendly, helpful. Toilet is a short walk down the road. Fire pits, picnic tables, dogs allowed, gourmet restaurant on the property open on the weekends.

Nous avons trouvé le domaine charmant et le camping bien aménagé. Les espaces de camping sont bien entretenues et les hôtes ont offert un bon service. Bûches fournies et salles de bain à proximité. On recommande!

We had an excellent stay. Francois and Cynthia were so welcoming. They were flexible to help us accommodate our 40 ft rig. We stayed for two nights and enjoyed the farm-to-table dining experience on our second night. Francois is a gifted chef. 😘🤌🏻 What a treat. Most of what we ate comes directly from the farm. Very reasonably priced for a 7-course experience. Gorgeous sunset, quiet stay. Picked a bouquet of wildflowers and saw the ducks and wild boars. 🐗 🦆 They offered us free firewood for our firepit. We hung our hammock in the trees for a quiet afternoon. Would highly recommend!

An incredibly special spot. Youve probably got your eyes on Montreal, but stop here for a few days first if you're looking for peace. The hosts are extremely kind and every site has power and water. In my case, they were able to sell me dinner one night - it was truly wonderful. They cant always make this happen so do ask far in advance. But its a peaceful place and lovely even without a meal.

It was lovely and peaceful. My hosts were wonderful. Greeted me upon arrival. We’re available for questions and very helpful introducing me to the area. The bathroom was clean and available. They sell meat from their farm which I can’t wait to try. There is a town a short distance if you need supplies or just want to explore. I would recommend if you are looking for somewhere to stay in this area you will be very happy staying here.

Such a great experience! My girlfriend and 2 big doggos had a blast! So many places to see and visit around the area. For the site itself, probably one of the best camping experiences I’ve ever had. Amazing spot for star gazing, relaxing, playing board games, walking around, letting your dogs have a bit of freedom, etc. The farm is just a short walk away. It houses chicken, boars, turkeys, a cow and even a mule! My dogs had the time of their lives meeting all the fauna! For the price, the quality of the service and availability of necessities/amenities is 20/10. The host, Cynthia, is an amazing human being, super helpful and accommodating in every aspect. We forgot our mattress pump and she provided us with one ASAP and tried to help as much as she could. Overall, a magical experience!

The site was lovely, in a wooded area, dog-friendly, and well-maintained. Cynthia was welcoming & friendly, inviting us to enjoy the property & giving us recommendations for Huntington. We will return to enjoy the on-site restaurant when they’re not booked out with wedding prep. 😎

Lovely site - flat shady spot, great access to water and electric, clean porta potty, nice picnic table and fire ring and kids LOVED visiting the farm animals - especially the boats! 🐗 ❤️ We booked last minute and ended up staying two nights! Great biking about 15 minutes and small town with great amenities incl best poutine of our vacation… we’ll be back sans enfants to try the on site specialty resto Merci beaucoup!

My boyfriend and I had the most pleasant stay at la Domaine de la Templerie! We were looking forward to the camping aspect of our trip and was surprised with they’re French cuisine, farm to table restaurant! Our plot at the time was very private and just nearby we were able to see the farm animals on our dog walks. More personally we were greeted regularly by the family that brings this great establishment together, they were courteous and kind! Definitely a great place to take a breather!
