The cabin is located on my now husband's family property. They raise beef cattle, corn, oats, and hay, and have owned the land since the 1930s. Our hilltop is beautiful, but we may be biased! It is generally quiet and we have wonderful sunrises and sunsets. We are thrilled to share our corner of the world with you! The view from the porch overlooks agricultural land and it's not rare to see deer grazing near sunset. Relax by the fire or explore the adjacent PA State Game Lands on foot or bike. Boat and fish the Allegheny River that's a short drive from the cabin. The cabin does not have electricity or running water. Firewood, indoor heat, electric lanterns, and an outhouse are available for guest use. Minimal AT&T and Verizon cell service. Great little cabin. Inside was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. Quiet location next to a farm. Would stay again!

Beautiful Land!

The views were so awesome on the hill! Sunset and sunrise were amazing. Very nice cabin inside and out and very clean. Firewood was a plus too! Will be back in the winter!

Country Cabin

This place is truly a gem. On a farm, but very secluded and quiet. Great views in all directions, at anytime of day (sunset was exceptionally good, and we were fortunate enough to have a full moon with intermittent clouds moving by, so it was pretty cool at night). The cabin was perfect for sleeping (no need to set up a tent - bed was very comfortable). There was room for a blow up mattress in the cabin as well. Campsite was also stocked with wood. This is one of my favorite hipcamps that I’ve been to. Very well done! It’s clear Kate and her husband put thought and effort in to this!

Country Cabin

We had an amazing time at the Country Cabin. If you are looking for privacy, farmland, and a relaxing trip- this is the place for you! The cabin was updated and clean. The outhouse was nice and clean as well! Would definitely recommend, and look forward to coming back.

Weekend getaway

Country Cabin

This cabin was such a lovely getaway! My husband and I had a wonderful time enjoying the peace and quiet while soaking in the beautiful sunrise and sunset over the land. The outhouse was in great condition as well! The only slight issue we ran into was the firewood being rotted and pretty damp but even then we were able to get a fire started and stay warm. I definitely recommend staying here and hope to come back sometime soon!

I loved my stay at the country cabin. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. The cabin was extremely cozy and perfect for a quiet little getaway. It was so peaceful and relaxing. There are lots of options for hiking in the area as well. I would recommend staying here and would stay again!
