Rest and relax on our beautiful slice of heaven just minutes from Smith Rock State Park; it’s about a mile walk! VANS & RVs Flat gravel parking is perfect for Vans and smaller RVs. *The gravel drive is pretty narrow as it goes over the irrigation ditch. Small RVs will be just fine. Medium or large RVs might have trouble. *No Hookups GLAMPING TENT: BYOB (bring your own bedding) and camp in style in our 10x12 safari tent. Furnished with a comfortable full-size futon, end tables and a classy rug for comfort. It sleeps two very comfortably. The futon easily transforms into a lounger, perfect for reading. Tie the tent doors open during good weather and relax as you watch the wildlife in the field and the sun move over Smith Rock. Important Notes: - **There are no toilets available on our property. Please DO NOT poop on our land! - Warm showers and toilets are available at Smith Rock State Park. - Pond: The sides of the pond are extremely slippery. If you want to swim, please be careful; it’s very easy to fall and hurt and is dangerous. Enter and swim at your own risk! - Drinking Water: Our well water (from the pump at the pumphouse) is safe for drinking. - 120 electricity available. Ask us for the extension cord when you book. - Gas Fire Pit: Kick back next to a little gas fire pit on the tent platform as you watch the sunset over the Cascade mountains. - Food: Keep all food in tightly closed containers and please don’t leave food in the tent during the day (your car is the best place for that). Pack your trash out. - A Quiet Space: This is a quiet neighborhood and our voices really carry, so please, no parties. Quiet time is 9PM-9AM. Vans and RVs are welcome too. *RVs, be aware the gravel drive is pretty narrow as it goes over the irrigation ditch. Small RVs will be just fine. Medium or large RVs won’t fit! Walk a sculpted gravel path up a little hill to the sparkling clean (and rarely used) PortaPotty. This is professionally serviced weekly. We are turning this land into a farm, and will periodically be out there during the day workin on the pond (this year’s activity), figuring out irrigation, and generally working (when we are not climbing). If we see you we’ll be sure to say hello! Feel free to roam around on our acres of juniper woodland all around the tent site. There is a large pond. Great for swimming and floating in the sun, but there is no lifeguard; enjoy it at your own risk and please please please be careful with children 🙂 You’ll find quail, many other small birds and see geese flying by. Early mornings and dusk are a great time to watch the deer in the field and you may have the great luck of spotting a wild turkey or two!. At night you may hear coyotes singing, the neighbor’s cows mooing and various small mammals running around. We even have a family of marmots living at the far end of the property. Look for them in the big rock piles April- September in the early hours. Marmots hibernate all winter. *Keep all food in tightly closed containers and please don’t leave food in the tent during the day (your car is the best place for that). Pack your trash out. This is a Residential neighborhood and voices really carry; so please, no raves and quiet time after 9ish. Respect the property boundaries.

We loved camping on Andrew and Angelina’s land! Beautiful views and super easy to find. Level parking for our trailer and our hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We had so many great adventures - and this was a super nice place to stay just minutes from Smith Rock.

Andy was there when I arrived. Kind and helpful but also gave me the quiet space I was looking for. Highly recommend! I went to the market in Terrabonne and bought some delicious smoked tri-tip for supper. Sat on the porch and enjoyed the view and ate supper. Excellent.

Perfect glamping spot just minutes from Smith Rock, right off the road! It’s like camping in the park but much more convenient, private, and quiet. The futon bed was very comfortable (bring your sleeping bags and bedding), and we really enjoyed the colorful and scenic sunrises from the deck. The canvas tent is sturdy and sheltered us well from some cold wind. We’ll definitely be back to stay for our next climbing trip up in the area!

Andy's place is just as advertised. Well located, very close to Smith Rock, quiet and in a ex-urb neighborhood. Tent and amenities are good quality and clean. Great propane fire ring was key on a chilly weekend. There are a few houses around and in the view of the rock but you get used to it quickly. The pictures are accurate - the parking area and the camping space are gravel/rip-rap. Bring extra padding if you plan to pitch a second tent as there aren't really any other spaces available to put one other than on the gravel.

The permanent tent situation was so refreshing on our camping road trip. The port a potty was clean and the scenery was amazing. It’s not super private but was very accessible and SO close to smith rock park.

I am so glad I came across this spot! I needed to get out of town and decided to spontaneously go on a camping trip alone for the weekend. I wasn’t quite sure if I’d feel safe by myself, but I decided to take the risk and I’m SO glad I did! This property is beautiful and is super close to Smith Rock if you’re looking to do some hiking. The futon is actually quite comfortable and it’s so nice to walk around the property and see deer and horses all over. I would totally recommend to stay here during the summer. I’d say if you go during the cooler months, just be sure to pack the right things to keep warm 👌🏼

The tent was simple and clean; the bed was surprisingly comfortable (make sure to bring your own bedding/lanterns). We were just passing through on our way to Bend, but I wish we had had more time to enjoy the view from the porch! Definitely staying here every time we’re in the area.

Perfect place to glamp near Smith Rock. And I mean RIGHT near it. Less than 5 minutes away! Very comfortable and clean tent and futon. Nice views. Lots of wildlife. Andy was super quick about getting back to me whenever I had a question.

We had a great stay at Andy’s campground; very private, calm Located within a few minutes of Smith Rock was perfect for us since we wanted to explore. The tent is tastefully furnished, and the campsite had plenty of Adirondacks chairs, which was great!

The space was clean and well maintained however the big body of water on the land seemed to attract a crazy amount mosquitoes which made it impossible to enjoy the outdoors or open the tent/van door at all. Obviously the owners can’t control the bug situation but it did impact my stay.

The tent was awesome, warm and very thankful for the anti-bug candles. The landscaping was beautiful and I was thankful for a porta potty. My friend and I got a little lost at first and ended up at the neighbors (awkward) I recommend going during the day or like really look at the directions so it doesn’t happen to you too! (They were nice)

Pretty much as advertised. Currently no table so if you plan to cook/eat on site come prepared. I used the tailgate of my truck for cooking and set my chair off to the side up in the trees to get a break from the sun and wind while eating and relaxing. If you follow google directions via the address, you will end up on top of the hill next to the portapot. (RV spot). Tent platform access is off Wilcox.

Tent was clean and comfy. Didn't have any issues during the stay except for fighting off some mosquitoes which Andy was quick to help remove and prevent us from getting eaten. Would recommend packing in or out outside of prime mosquito hours. Other than that absolutely lovely, clean porta potty. Loved watching the sunset from the deck. Saw all sorts of deer, lizards, birds. Just plenty of wildlife to sit peacefully and enjoy watching. Nice and quiet, especially early morning/late night which allowed us to get some much needed peaceful rest.

Andy’s spot is awesome! Quiet, comfortable, peaceful and private. Exactly what we needed after a long day of driving and it’s so close to the most epic state park. (Highly recommend checking it out if you have time!) beautiful property. Would definitely stay again!
