Kinda rustic. The place was warm and inviting. Historic with a touch of modern living and a deck. Been a while since we made a pot of coffee but it was nice.

Cool down by the river

This is the Motel del Rogue in Grants Pass, and it is exceptional. Wonderful hosts, Kevin, Constance, and Sylvia. They helped with all manner of things: a float trip, lost phone, local walks, places to eat. Comfortable and well-designed units with decks that look out over the River. Very robust air conditioning that didn't falter in 107-degree heat. My travel mate said she could have spent a month there. A welcome respite.

#4 Retro Suite

This is a wonderful relaxing rustic place to stay. The river is beautiful. #4 was quite spacious with a lovely deck overlooking river. Kevin was a great host. We couldn't have had a better stay.

Lovely stay at Motel del Rogue

We need more places in the world like the Motel del Rogue! Family run and and wonderful staff. Beautiful little cabins, with just the right amenities and stocked with wonderful books. We didn’t want to leave and we will definitely return for another stay!

Historic roadside motel river views

This is an historic 1930s motel that is right on the river. My unit had a deck overlooking the river and easy parking in the front. Small kitchen and a jetted tub in the bathroom. Not super fancy, but all the basic amenities and friendly staff, as well as a lending library.

We could not believe our luck when our Labor Day lodgings elsewhere fell through and this lovely place was available for our family. Turns out this was the best option all along! The location was perfect, coming inland from the coast back into some warmth - and what’s better to do on a holiday weekend than a float on this particular stretch of the Rogue River? The river was perfection, the room was so comfortable for us and our dogs, and the surroundings were gorgeous. Who knew so much beauty awaited us in Grants Pass? We would love to return any time to this location and hospitality. Kevin and the team were wonderful!

This place is a real gem! It's a motel but totally un-motel like. We had our own charming little cabin with a fully equipped kitchen (including dishes) and a porch where we could sit and watch the river while eating. The people who run the place were also really friendly. Overall an excellent experience!

#13 Riverfront King Suite

Perfect setting on the Rogue! This motel has kept it's vintage charm but has updated comforts (the ductless cooling system was SO nice) The beds were very comfortable and we loved our river view from the back porch. We would definitely stay here again.

Home away from home

The Rogue River is our favorite stop as we travel through Oregon and Kevin and the family never let us down. Cute rooms with lots of charm and an amazing property to explore. Super cool!

Quaint spot on the river!

Our family of four enjoyed our stay at this rustic & quaint spot on the river! This place is a little bit rough around the edges, but it has a lot of personality and we liked it. Our room had a cute deck overlooking the river and the host Kevin, was very attentive and nice.

This place was even better than advertised-beautiful clean room with everything you need and vintage flair, beautiful grounds overlooking the river just steps away, warm welcoming hosts and cats. Great area to explore. We’ll be back.

Riverfront Relaxation

We loved our time here. The room was extremely clean and Kevin was helpful. Our toddler had a great time watching the deer, running around, and dipping her toes in the water.

Great motel! Best host!!

Great motel! Even better hosts - Kevin and family goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable and at home. One example of this generous hospitality is them not charging us for late checkout when our next destination cancelled due to wildfires. We stayed over by 4 hours while trying to figure next steps, all the while Kevin provided us valuable information and ensured we can stay as long as needed.

Kevin was very helpful in booking our stay. Our friends booked another site on the same location and I was looking for a site at the same location. He helped us finding another site so that we could stay with our friends. The property is really beautiful. There is a garden with lots of fruits and roses, there were barbecue tools, and also chairs by the rogue river to relax in the evenings. Very cute place!!

Fantastic Stay!

I highly recommend staying at Motel Del Rogue. We had 4 people and had a great time in Grants Pass. It’s the perfect place with extremely nice hosts. Kevin was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. Lots of amendments like bbqs and badmitten. There is lots to do. We went mountin biking, rafting, and hiking all in the area. We had a great time and already are plan ing to make it an annual trip!

We had a great time! Rustic cabin feel, water and tree view from balcony. Air conditioning was an unexpected blessing. Neat little badminton/bbq area. Very peaceful retreat. Very nice people!

The host was very nice, location was right on the river which saved us a trip since we came to fish and only had to walk a short way. The bathroom was dated but they have improved on the room (new floor). I enjoyed their garden decor.

Cozy cottage by the Rogue

What a great place to stay with our baby and dog, en route from Washington back down to California! Kevin was so hospitable and we felt so well rested and cozy after a long drive. Will be back for sure!
