Our property has been in business in one way or another for over 70 years. The stick built cabins are pre 1950's and no one really knows for sure how old they truly are. We are located on Fort Creek named after the creek that ran through Fort Klamath. Fort Creek is a beautiful 30' wide meandering creek that runs the length of the property north to south. We offer free use of our Old Town Canoes to paddle along it's extent and on up creek to a beaver damn. There is a fun hiking trail that runs over two bridges that span the creek, one covered and one floating. We also offer free catch and release fishing, there are Rainbow and Brown Trout in our waters. Fort Klamath is the birthplace and home of the US Army 1st Cavalry and our property is located on the the Forts Southeastern grounds. We are 9 miles from the southern border of the National Park and 23 miles from the southern Rim and Rim Village. Please note: We do allow pets in some of our sites for $10 per night. If you plan to bring a pet, please add the pet fee which is listed under "Extras" during the booking process.

Our tent sites are spacious and fully grassed, with room for multiple tents to accommodate up to 6 people. RV sites with full-hookups and partial hook-up sites are available to accommodate recreational vehicles of all types and up to 40’ long. Picnic tables, BBQs and fire pits are available at every tent and RV site. A large community fire pit and gas grill are available for all guest use. Please note: Car camping is not possible in tent sites, as the designated parking spot for each tent site is a few hundred feet away. Car camping is allowed in our partial RV sites only. Picturesque and well managed glamp site convenient to Crater Lake National Park. The clean, heated bathroom and shower was a godsend in the freezing temperatures.

This place is a must stay. We had an amazing time camping here, even if it was so freaking cold the night we stayed. We utilized the free canoe and it was well worth it. The store has everything you need, is reasonably priced, and everyone that works there is so nice. Would recommend and if I'm back around Crater Lake I'll be back for sure.

the overall campsite was very nice, and I enjoyed walking around the creek. i was a little worried about the road noise early on but that died down at night. the store had plenty of supplies and the host was very nice and helpful

So many mammals and owls

The hosts had a wonderful location near a creek/river and offered the use of canoes. The area was full with the sounds of some owls and mammals , includung beavers slapping their tails on the creek waters at night. They had a well stocked store that had foods, bevs, and some camping supplies, a laundry room, nice hot showers, and a large campsite on grass with large pine trees overhead. Wow! What a great place to stay. Good people. Good place.

We loved our stay at Crater Lake resort! The campground was beautiful, clean, quiet and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there was plenty to do. Our campsite was spacious, there were swings and a playground area for our kids, and we loved canoeing in the beautiful creek. It was also a quick and pleasant drive from Crater Lake.

My daughter and I had the pleasure of camping at Crater Lake Resort for a night, and it was absolutely perfect. The campsite was spacious and peaceful, offering a serene escape while still being just a short drive away from Crater Lake National Park—perfect for exploring during the day. The amenities were excellent. The bathrooms and showers were clean, well-maintained, and easily accessible, which made our stay even more comfortable. I really appreciated how quiet and relaxing the atmosphere was, with the sound of a nearby creek adding to the natural charm of the area. The location itself is beautiful, with plenty of space to explore, and there were several things to do nearby, making it an ideal spot for nature lovers. Whether you're hiking, stargazing, or just soaking in the surroundings, there's no shortage of ways to enjoy the outdoors. Overall, we had a wonderful experience, and I would definitely recommend Crater Lake Resort to anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic, and well-equipped campsite. I will absolutely be back in the future!

Where to start...Wendy, Madison and Brooke were the sweetest! Wendy made sure to take care of a charge from Hipcamp that shouldn't have been charged for a reservation modification. The store and set up behind are awesome! The play structure could use some help, the swings are great, canoes are awesome, the store perfect! I would day if the owners added a hot tub or a few of them, with an outside shower and a 1hr color coded max time in at a time, the guests would be in heaven! They could even do beaver tours at night, we saw at least 9 at one time. Its a gem of a spot and hope to go back!!!

Wonderful campground!

Crater Lake Resort - RV 20
Great campground in beautiful location en route to Crater Lake. RV sites under some trees (there are tent sites and cabins as well). The campground is nicely laid out, so all the spots feel relatively private (though the RV ones were a little tight) and have nice views. It's enjoyable to walk around the grounds, and there's a very pretty stream nearby that's worth checking out. Also convenient to have the store on the grounds for any basics you might need. The main downside of this place were the mosquitoes, which we were told have been unusually bad this year. Hopefully not a regular occurrence, and having plenty of bug spray, citronella candles, and the campfire helped. There was also some road noise from cars passing by to and from the park, but this wasn't constant and beceme infrequent in the evenings. Of course, Crater Lake itself was also stunning, so we felt lucky to have found this great place to stay in the area. All in all, we'd happily be back again!

Very friendly staff, well stocked general store, convenient location right off highway, respectful campers during my stay. Washroom facilities are older, but clean. River front RV sites are quite close together, #15 was especially tight. Okay spot to spend night after exploring Crater Lake National Park.

Overall, the resort is nice and has good amenities. The restrooms and shower were clean, which is nice. I didn’t love being right on the road and hearing cars and trucks fly by all night. Perhaps the biggest issue was the groundskeepers arriving early Saturday morning with their rider mowers to cut the grass while many were still sleeping, and kicking up dust everywhere.

This is a great campground near Crater Lake! It was wonderful to have warm showers and flush toilets. Each site has a fire pit and there is a community campfire as well. We met some other travelers around the fire. We checked in after hours and it was super easy!

We had a nice stay. The kids enjoyed the canoes. We roasted marshmallows at the community firepit. We were in a tent site and found the bathroom sinks to be large enough for us to do our dish washing in easily

Great Spot Close to Crater Lake

This little resort was perfect for our quick overnight stay before our sunrise trip up to Crater Lake! It is about 30 min drive from the southernmost park entrance, has a wide variety of types of spots (cabins, RV spots, tent sites, yurts), and the little shop at the office is well stocked and the owner was SO sweet and helpful! We had a great time and would definitely stay here again. The only downside was that our tent site was probably the furthest you could possibly be from the restroom. The restroom/shower facilities were as far away from our site as possible, way over by the RV sites which we thought was odd since most ppl in RVs have their own bathroom/shower.

We loved the RV Park .. we were backed up to a creek .. overall quite with some activities on site .. free Canoe's to use & location to Crater Lake was perfect. Dog friendly too. Staff couldn't have been nicer. Highly recommend

The property is delightfully designed; zero issues with it. There were many fun activities available to fill down time with. The WiFi… I reserved the space with location of camp as well as being able to work remotely using the advertised WiFi connection. However, connectivity was absolutely horrid. So next trip, it’s a no for me solely for that reason. If you don’t need to conduct a little business while you’re vacationing, then this place gets 5 out of 5 stars.

We were impressed by Crater Lake Resort! There was plenty of room for our travel trailer (limited privacy, but it's what you'd expect from an RV park). The bathrooms were well-maintained and clean, the park was quiet and the staff was lovely and helpful. The park is located within easy driving distance to Crater Lake. We also really enjoyed using the complementary canoes in the pretty little creek that runs along the edge of the property.

We enjoyed our tent camping at CLR! The area was gorgeous, staff were super friendly, and the stream around the property was fun to canoe in! My kid had a great time on the swings and playing pickleball.

The resort was nice, good amenities. I liked having the BBQ right at the site. The store was nice to have when I realized we forgot a couple of things. Wasn’t super close to Crater Lake, but that was fine.

We left our reservation early due to poor air quality caused by nearby forest fires. We booked a tent spot, which offers no privacy. Amenities are fine. Bathroom is a long walk from the tent site. Laundry room onsite but we did not need it. Lots of activities and equipment available and we had looked forward to canoeing with the kids has the weather not turned. There is a ChargePoint charger (slow, not fast) with what we felt was an expensive rate--you pay for convenience. Be warned that this resort is about an hour's drive from Crater Lake. Lots of mosquitos for the California girl. We look forward to making another trip to this resort when the fire situation is resolved. Would likely stay in a cabin or yurt for more privacy.

Tent camping site was spacious and all grass, no rocks. Free canoe rental for the creek surrounding the camp ground. There was a power outage during my one-night stay that lasted the entirety of the visit, but I'm sure everything is great when the power is on. The front desk lady with purple hair was really friendly.

Crater Lake Resort - Full RV 16
Crater Lake Resort had lots of really nice amenities, like a community fire pit, outdoor grill and pizza oven. They had plenty of activities as well, such as pickleball, canoeing, horse shoes and corn hole. A really nice store with lots of products as well, and clean bathrooms with plenty of hot water. There were a few down sides, like the full size RV sites were set very close together, so we felt like we were right on top of our neighbors as they ate dinner. The Wifi was in and out, but that can be expected with how far out in nature you are! Chiloquin, the nearby city is very small, and there are only a few restaurants available. But this was in close proximity to Crater Lake. Overall a good stay, and we would stay there again!
