Enjoy the comforts of home—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
At the edge of a small town in Oklahoma, plenty of space to look out over hayfields, lounge in one of our hammocks, sit around the fire, watch chickens, ducks, and geese, and maybe lend a hand to one of our varied farm projects. Permaculture-based polyculture market garden that sells organic veggies and herbs. A few miles from Twin Bridges State Park has RV dump station. The town is walkable and there are plenty of our bikes you can use. The main parking area will have some lights from the neighbors and 2 lane highway, but also have private areas to set up a chair or hammock. Behind the hedgerow (to the North) there's a mowed areas for a tent. There's also a tree platform. A train runs through town about 10 x day and night about 5 blocks away. There's capacity for leaving your trash/recycling here (I have to pay for weekly pick-up but rarely is my bin full), there's also washer/dryer that can be used (within reason)

Open field. A 45' RV has squeezed in but that was probably too big (very tight driving around lots of branches) so 35' is more comfortable. There's also potentially an RV hookup for electric, but I need to test that, so the first person who uses that is no additional charge!

Century country charmer located in Fairland on a spacious farm and gardens. This is a bedroom in a quiet upstairs with upstairs bathroom with walk-in shower. To rent the whole upstairs for complete privacy, just book both rooms and you'll be the only one using the bathroom. First bedroom features a raised queen bed, with the second bedroom offering two singles beds. An additional cot can also be available. Separating the two bedrooms is a spacious landing and sitting area, with tea and coffee fixings provided. Shared spaces (downstairs) includes kitchen, laundry facilities, living room, front porch, firepit, etc. Entry is through downstairs which houses two more bedrooms and permanent tenants. Central to all the fun features of Ottawa County this rental also provides ample parking space for those traveling with boats, RVs, and ATVs.

This is my third time camping here as a stopover on a roadtrip and I have enjoyed every stay. It is close enough to the highway to be easy to get to and off the beaten path enough to be a quiet place where you can encounter wildlife. Kelda is welcoming and a good communicator. I also appreciate the access to drinking water and a bathroom. I would definitely recommend Stardust.

Kelda is a wonderful host, she met us on arrival and showed us around. There were chairs and a hammock available. This was a great place to spend the night on our roadtrip. And in the morning…… greeted by geese!! What a great surprise!

A great stop carcamping on roadtrip

My partner and I had a wonderful stay! This was only our second Hipcamp site and our experience was very positive! Kelda was very communicative and the site was perfect for a stop on a long roadtrip. She met us when we arrived and showed us to the site. We were grateful to have access to a bathroom and shower! We also got to enjoy sky-watching and woke up to beautiful bird songs. I heard the Great Horned Owl in the middle of the night, but by the time I grabbed my red light to try to find it in the trees, it was gone! Finally, we were greeted by sweet geese (adults and babies!). We would come back. As two women traveling, we felt very safe. AND, don’t miss Sunshine Donuts on your way in or out! Sweet family runs it and I’ll be dreaming about the apple fritters for a while.

I camped one night at Stardust when I was passing through on a road trip. The site was easy to find with good directions. Kelda was friendly and met me when I arrived to show me around. It was a windy night and Kelda was very helpful in suggesting good spots to camp out of the wind. The land was beautiful with good stars, friendly ducks, chickens, and geese, and I heard great horned owls.

Nice field to park your RV or whatever, very nice host, kind and helpful. Only disadvantage for us was that the bathroom and the rooms too it are not clean at all. However, if you really need a shower it serves your needs.

Tenting under the stars

Kelda’s Land was just right for our one night stop during our Route 66 trip. Our hostess quickly responded to our texts about our arrival time and was there when we arrived. We were given a tour of the area for our tent, indoor bathroom and even a bedroom if the weather was bad. This is in a small town so the dinner closes early but there is one gas station. Our hostess was great. We felt very safe staying at Kelda’s land.

Kelda is so nice and her property is really pretty. Perfect for camping, lush grass and flat land. We decided not to stay overnight because a thunderstorm was expected and Kelda was so sweet to offer other options and make local recommendations. If weather were better, we know we would have loved staying at her place. It was lovely and felt very safe. Thanks, Kelda for everything!

This campsite was lovely! Nice little town off the highway, plenty of space. I was driving on a cross-country road trip and only spent one night, which I was blessed to be able to stay in the spare room in the house on the property! Kelda is very kind and accommodating, this place has everything you could need. I also travelled alone as a young female and felt very safe here!
