Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.

From a distance you may think that our place is like ever other place, but it's not. We pride ourselves on turning this once domesticated property back into it's natural state. With regeneration practices we have added native flowers, medicinal herbs and pollinators where acres of wheat once stood. We have activities for an additional fee such as taking a stroll with our certified master herbalist, pick some edible flowers in our "I Pick You" U-Pic garden, milk a goat, or learn about how we implement regeneration practices just to name a few. There’s no pressure to add these activities so just relax and enjoy nature the way it should be, natural.

You will arrive at the house and then will be shown to your campsite by a pond or creek. Cows, horses, goats and the occasional coyote can be seen. Bird watching is always available and enjoyable as well. There are a few owls and an Eagle on the property that can sometimes be seen. Please keep distance unless approached. The terrain is grassy and rough, walks are encouraged along creek and fields for foraging or hiking.

Lightning bug acres is a private area to pitch a tent and enjoy the light show. Lightning bugs are are one of the many unique things to see here. Shade trees and a pond are right at your fingertips. Only primitive camping at this location. We can bring a small camping toilet to your site but otherwise it’s very primitive

Tent primitive camping

Nice spot, quiet and private. Clint let us use some scrap wood to have a bon fire which was much appreciated! We booked last minute and showed up pretty late to set up our camp, so we really appreciate their last minute accommodations!
