Step away from the stress of life as you relax in one of our six private cabins set on the edge of our 20+ acres of woods. Out front, you will see a 1-acre U-pick flower garden, a small, 2-acre pasture field with sheep and goats, as well as a larger pasture field with our Scottish Highlander cattle roaming the 10-acre hillside. Our cabins offer many luxurious and relaxing features to help you forget about the pressures of daily life. You’ll return home refreshed and renewed after staying in our furnished, quiet country cabins — ready to start fresh! Our cabins are spaced approximately 350 feet apart. During the winter season when the trees are bare, the cabins are slightly visible from our house and the road. But after the leaves are out, the log cabins are very secluded, and you can relax in the privacy of your hideaway oasis.

Shady Maple is a 22' x 24' log cabin that was built in 1999 and is nestled in the woods, overlooking a fishing pond. There is a queen-size bed in the loft and a memory foam sofa sleeper in the living room. You will find a hot tub on the porch, and a jacuzzi for two allows you to relax as you watch the remote-controlled gas fireplace. The kitchenette is equipped with cookware, dishes, and appliances. You can also watch the birds in the large bird feeder outside the kitchen window or enjoy nature trails close to the log cabin.

All new for October 2022, we are introducing a new, more modern interpretation of a cabin! This is a studio unit, with local Amish-made, quarter-sawn oak kitchen cabinets, offering full-sized appliances, a fridge, range, microwave, and dishwasher. It also offers an eat-up bar, with two barstools. It offers a reclining sofa, with a Roku smart tv across the room to watch all your streamed content. This unit offers a king-sized bed with a local, Amish-made pillow-top mattress. The bathroom offers a double bowl sink, a large tile shower, and a stackable washer and dryer! Outside on the large patio, you will find a hot tub, gas fire table with lounge chairs, and gas grill. Off to the side of the building, you will find a wood-burning fire ring.

Sleepy Bear is a wonderful choice for guests who may have limited mobility with stairs — this cabin has only single-step staircases, and no loft for easy access to all areas of the cabin. It sleeps two guests comfortably in the main floor bedroom and features a luxurious Jacuzzi tub and a fireplace. The kitchenette is equipped with cookware, dishes, and appliances. You can also walk nature trails close to the log cabin. The basement Suite offers an Amish-made, queen bed, a queen memory foam sofa sleeper, a fully stocked kitchenette, and the only cabin with a second full bathroom with a large shower. Plenty of room for many good memories to be made with your friends!

You can also walk nature trails close to the log cabin. We have no TV.

Shady Maple at Tranquil Acres
We had a great time at Shady Maple cabin! It was a beautiful place to unwind, de-stress, and be in an amazing setting! The cabin had everything you would need for a relaxing time. We love a good log cabin and this did not disappoint! It was clean, had snacks, jacuzzi tub inside, a hot tub outside, board games, was private enough and everything worked as it should. Shout out to the hosts for sharing this beautiful property with us! Will definitely go back!

Best log cabin with Hot tub n Grill
Cozy Pine at Tranquil Acres
We had a great time spending our weekend at Cozy Pine Cabin for my Husband’s birthday. The area was beautiful and peaceful. The cabins were also not too close from each other which is great! We enjoyed being in the Hot tub on a cold weather, We love the amenities especially the outdoor gas grill, fire pit (with free fire wood), whirlpool tub for two and many more!! I was also impressed with the host for being so responsive and for granting our request to make our stay convenient and memorable. Truly a star host! ✅Self check in and check out ✅Functional amenities ✅Good smelling sheets/linen ✅Very responsive and accommodating host Looking forward to be back in summer and see what activities they can offer! 👍
