Beautiful location on the Kokosing river. Located right next to Honey run waterfall lots of hiking, 3 miles from cocos and gap Trail, and so many more wonderful things in the area. Knox county is the gateway to the Amish country, within a couple of miles there’s many Amish stores. We have public restrooms, dump station, 50 amp, and 30 amp sites with water.

It's Fair to Midland
We arrived at the Caves Campground around 5 p.m. on a rainy day. No one was around to direct us to the area for tent camping. It was not obvious nor marked. We eventually found level ground in an area the many RVs were not likely to set-up. Probably because all of the other campers were in RVs, the bathroom was "campground clean". This was appreciated. The nature sounds were unusual, varied and amazing. It wasn't a bad experience. But I wouldn't recommend Caves Campground, nor likely to return.

Loved our campsite right by the river. Enjoyed fishing and walking to the waterfall. Very peaceful place and definitely will be going back soon.

No check in, just pull in, and hook up. No interaction with anyone. It was quite. Beautiful view.

This spot is our absolute favorite! So peaceful!! Kids stayed busy, we relaxed. Perfect weekend! 🏕
