At Camp Presmont our Mission Statement is: Employing the beauty of creation, Camp Presmont exists to serve the church, nurture the family, and reach the lost with the gospel in the power of the Spirit to make ready a people prepared for the Lord. By offering individual site rentals we are able to reach even more people for Christ. We do have a no drugs or alcohol policy for our property, this includes smoking. We feel that we have a small slice of paradise out here, so please come and check us out. The camp is located right above beautiful Peidmont lake, giving you a great view and opportunity for activities such as boating, fishing, and swimming. We also have plenty of other activities available like basketball, volleyball, hiking, disc golf and more. (Bring own balls and discs). We would love to have you out and share with you the beauty that is our camp!

Such an interesting experience! I will admit that I was a bit confused when I arrived, the property is a summer camp of sorts although I’m not sure it’s still operating as one. The host was super responsive as I was bit confused upon arrival. Having the place to my self was awesome and I loved my stay there. Shower house was very clean, and there was a port a potty closer to the campsite. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it! The stars are incredible!!

We always absolutely love staying here, it's what keeps us coming back year after year. The staff here are excellent when you need them, and a lot of times you don't even notice anyone else milling about while you are there. They have multiple sports courts and activities and a big playground for the kiddos. The lake beach is a gradual incline for the little ones, or you can use the dock as a launch pad for the older (or more adventurous) kids. The weather is consistently cooler here in the holler, any time we had to venture out it was always warmer at the top of the hill and out. The grounds are covered in native flora and fauna, which was a pleasant surprise for my sister who is a botanist. The butterfly garden is so peaceful and you wouldn't believe how many hang out around on the grounds! See you next spring!

Friendly people, seems to be welcome LGBT family, their playground is huge, it felt like a small community and their cabins are nice and great size for 10 people in one cabin!

We enjoyed our short stay at Presmont! We are a family of 4 plus 1 dog. We were just staying 1 quick night as a stopping point on a long drive along interstate 70. Camp was easy to find and about 20min from the interstate. Very rural and secluded. Bathhouse was clean and an added bonus. Would love to come back and stay longer. Road in was bumpy. May be a little tricky for hauling an RV, but staff said people seem to do it with no huge issues. Thanks Presmont!

It was dirty. The sheets had stains. The furniture had stains. It looked like the furniture was procured from a dump. I ended up sleeping in my car. I had booked for two nights and left after the first morning. It's too bad the location is great. I would have taken pictures but I just wanted to leave.

We loved staying in the cabin and the area so much. Wish it wouldn't have rained most of the time we were there, but we made the most on our last day. It's so quiet and peaceful, and really there is *tons* to do if you have kids. We already have been talking about coming back for a long weekend as soon as we can.

The quiet and tranquillity of the Camps setting was wonderful! Cabin was as presented on Hip Camp site and spacious...even had AC. I was met by a friendly person from staff shortly after arrival and given the opportunity to present any needs or questions. Very happy with my stay...next time will be longer👍

My husband and I had a wonderful vacation at Camp Presmont in the Midian Cabin. We were there for 5 nights and the camp’s host, Kenny and his wife were great. Communication with them was a breeze. The cabin, was rustic, but clean and it was so nice to have a bathroom in the cabin. It was super hot when we were there and having A/C was glorious!! The beds were comfy and having a 2 bedroom was great. We loved the fact that we could going kayaking anytime we wanted. We spent almost our whole time there fishing and kayaking. The lake isn’t super crowded either. It was nice to see the lake from the cabin. Nature abounds at Camp Presmont. I observed Great Blue Herons, Green Herons, Indigo Buntings, Blue Birds, Scarlet Tanagers, Bald Eagles, Osprey’s, Pileated Woodpeckers, Red Bellied Woodpecker, Downy woodpeckers and so many more. There is also the frogs who sing a wonderful chorus in the evening.

I stayed at camp presmont with a group of about 20 people. We had a wonderful time. The property is beautiful. We rented a canoe and brought some of our own kayaks to go out on the lake, and the kids did a lot of swimming as well. There are some nice hiking trails through the woods that we took advantage of, and a nice playground, covered shelter area with picnic tables where we had meals, and a group campfire area where we have nightly fires. The cabins are basic camping cabins but they were fine for what we needed. The midian cabin said it came with linens and it did, but I would recommend bringing your own, as each beds just had a fitted sheet and a blanket and one pillow. It could have been cleaner and the furniture was dated, but we spent most of our time outside, so we really just needed the cabin to sleep in, and for the price I can't complain! The staff were friendly and helpful all along, answering questions beforehand, during our stay, and even called to check on afterwards.

Staff very nice to work with for a campout with cub scouts. Nice facility. Bathrooms were not fully open yet but did have two showers available. The kids enjoyed the large play ground. We plan on returning.

Peaceful, quiet, beautiful, and right on Piedmont Lake with plenty of things to do. You’d be hard pressed to find a better option for the price. I’ll definitely be back and recommend this spot to anyone trying to relax in nature and get away.

Our group of 8 had the campground to ourselves half of the weekend. We had an absolute blast! The kids were able to run and play, they played soccer, Gaga ball, and catch. We spent two days out on the lake in the pontoon boat fishing. The landscape is gorgeous and the sunsets are breathtaking, at night after the fire dies down, the number of stars you can see are out of this world. I definitely recommend this campground if you need a break from the busyness of everyday life, which is just what we needed. We didn’t really hike the trails due to rain and it being muddy but I did venture off and find the chapel which has an amazing view. I spent a few silent moments alone talking to the man upstairs and felt very connected in that location. The ride is bumping heading down to the campground and you should watch out for wildlife. The turn into the campground is right but my husband was able to get our 32’ toy hauler in and out without too much trouble. I recommend coming in the daylight if you’re hauling a trailer. The restroom is nearby and the showers are hot. You do have access to water and electric on site.

Really nice place with alot of fun things to do. All the staffs were friendly and helped us although we reached preety late at the night. I would really recommend this place for groups. And the place is underpriced and also we got free firewoods. They also have electrical and water hookup.
