The owners were very nice and interesting to talk to. The site was well maintained and had plenty of privacy, you felt quite far from the other campsite. A porta-potty was provided which was nice. Plenty of animals to watch and be entertained by! If you need perfect quote to sleep I’d recommend taking ear plugs as the animals can be a little loud in the early morning, but that’s expected for camping on a farm!

I enjoyed my time at Addis Acres. The owner came by with a few fresh pears that were very delicious. They also have some friendly pups that came to visit. Very nice people a d great hosts

Ann and Steve were both extremely welcoming and took the time to show us all of the animals on the farm. Our kids loved running through the open field that was part of the campsite.

Favorite spot so far!

Absolutely wonderful. Very down to earth hosts. We had so much fun between the fishing and all the animals, all the puppies were wonderful and so sweet! So accommodating and very knowledgable. We will absolutely be back!

An gem of a spot with farm animals

We absolutely love this spot. The sweet eats hosts with the sweetest animals. We felt safe and really enjoyed our opportunity to see farm animals and nature. It’s a very simple spot, we had plenty of space to set up a tent have privacy, port-a-pot to potty. Our favorite part was having Ann and Steve show us their animals. I hope to come stay again!

Addis Acres was as near perfect as it could be! It was quaint and charming, clean and clutter-free, close but yet not. The farm animals are friendly and well cared for. Browse the property, fish, play yard games in the expansive mown grass field, or relax by the fire. We towed the pop-up in and easily leveled it at Site #1. There is a rustic fence for privacy, an old shed with extra firewood if needed, and a clean privy nearby. Lastly, the hosts, Annie and Steve, are friendly but not intrusive. Truly delightful. We will not hesitate to book Addis Acres again!

Amazing experience

This is one of my new favorite camping spots and can not wait to go back! The hosts were extremely kind and helpful. The site was clean and well set up with plenty of space for a table top grill. They also supplied plenty of firewood at no additional charge. The animals were by far my favorite part of the experience, if you are an animal person this is the spot for you!

Beautiful scenery, open space, cute animals and the sweetest hosts! We arrived during a bad storm, but were able to get situated just fine. Lots of room on each site to maneuver our 29’ TT and had a nice level spot with lots of room to roam around. We all loved seeing the animals and getting to feed/hold a few will be memories our kids hold for a lifetime. We ran our generator at night and were offered lots of help if we needed any for anything by our kind hosts. I wish I would have brought some boots (rain just did was rain does) but otherwise, the site was as advertised and we really enjoyed our short stay. Would definitely come back.

Great for the Wilds campsite

Ann was the kindest host! She was available to welcome us to the property and gave us privacy at our site, but welcomed us in for a board game, reccomendations on what to check out in the area and a tour to meet all the animals including very sweet dogs! I enjoyed waking up in the morning to see the horses close by! The location was prime for our trip to the wilds and hiking at Salt Fork. Our site included a shanty that was able to keep our fire wood dry when it rained. There was the cleanest Porta potty ever on site. We were able to see so many stars and hear an owl in the nearby woods. We stayed over a holiday weekend and it was nice to have extra space to spread out and the quietness from only having one other site on the property instead of the state park campgrounds which looked packed. Looks like they have some eggs from their chickens for sale as available. Will plan on staying here again!

We loved our stay at Site 1 on Ann's farm, Addis Acres! We were greeted by several friendly farm animals, much to our delight. The private primitive site was perfect for our needs and even included a shanty style shelter in case of bad weather, which we had both nights. So, it was an incredible to be able to stash our stuff underneath a roof during the rain storms. Great host, even provided water for us to wash our dishes!

We had a great stay at this site. We felt like we had privacy and it was so fun to see all the animals, especially Tank. The owners were nice and accommodating and were communicative. The roosters do start calling before dawn, despite what the story books tell us, but otherwise we had no issues.

We had a wonderful stay at Addis acres! Beautiful field to camp in with fire pit and table. The host provided us with fire wood to have a fire. So fun to walk around the farm and visit with the animals. Would definitely recommend staying here and hoping to again in the future. The hosts welcomed us and are very passionate about their farm. Thank you for sharing your farm with us!

Ann and Steve are warm and welcoming hosts. They are very sweet people and took the time to show me around their incredible farm and home. The camp ground is well maintained and felt very safe. It is clear they really love their land and their animals, and I am grateful I had the opportunity to see what they have built.

Uniquely wonderful!

Ann's Camp is pleasantly unique. She offers a primitive shelter with table and chairs, a stocked fire pit and a porta potty. All this on level turf and sweet farm animals near by. She clearly communicated her address and provided accurate directions.

May 2023 Site 1 - Addis Acres We just got back from a Memorial Day weekend spent at Addis Acres in New Concord, OH and we couldn’t be more happier with our stay! The camp site offers a lot of privacy (site #2 is on the other side of the large grassy area) and the covered shelter the hosts built, finished minutes before our arrival, is a very nice addition to keep camping gear dry and provides shelter in case of bad weather or just a place to relax in the shade! Plenty of firewood was provided to keep a nice fire going and waking up eating fresh eggs, to birds singing and horses munching on grass close to your tent was an awesome experience! It was fun to see (and hold) the baby rabbits and to watch the different chickens and new-born piglets roam around the fenced-in area! While we were there, one momma duck hatched 11 little ones and one of the momma goats gave birth to 2 new baby goats! The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, asking us multiple times if there was anything they could do to make our stay (even) better (they couldn’t!). We would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves animals, the simple life and privacy!

We loved camping here. The hosts are amazing, friendly, and generous with with time and land. They created two unique, rustic sites with a ton of custom artistic charm and have many friendly farm animals to enjoy. Highly recommend visiting!

Staying at this hobby farm was perfect for my nephew and I. Thoughtful touches at campsite (Site 1) with wood, fire starter, grill grate, table, stump seats, and tiki torches. We were on far side of a open grass field next to horse pen and they came near a few times. Host’s were friendly and very giving of their time and showing us all their lovely animals and grounds. Pigs, goats, chickens, ducks, bunnies, horses, cats, and dogs. I mean they had it all for anyone who loves animals.

Our family had a wonderful time here. Our kids loved playing with the animals and helping to feed them. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. The site was very clean and they had firewood, firestarter, potty and shower. Could not recommend more.

Camping with animals & great hosts!

Camping at Addis Acres was an absolutely awesome experience. The site (site #1) is right at the tree line and next to the fencing for the horses. It’s definitely far enough from the second site to feel very private if someone else is there too (no one camped at the other site while we were there). The farm sells eggs and they were fantastic to have the next morning for campfire breakfast burritos. The owners, Ann and Steve, were such kind and wonderful hosts. They showed us the property and let us interact with the animals - what an enriching experience for the kids (and me!) who do not get to spend time outside of the city very much. Highly recommend!

Peaceful Camping

I loved camping here! The owners were very helpful in every way, and gave me a “tour” of their 35 acre farm when I got there. Many animals reside here, including horses, goats, Kunekune pigs and even 2 piglets. My site was private, welcoming, and beautifully put together. A trash can, porta potty, and even a shower were all provided. I would definitely come back again!
