Learn more about this land: Onsite views of the Black Mountain Range, and a small creek with good water. Several trails to explore on the land with abundant spicebush and other forest medicinals. Steep terrain. We are raising bees, chickens (including a couple roosters), and geese on our farm. Two dogs are our pets, a great pyrenees and a black lab. The site is near the AT crossing at Sams Gap. A great whitewater spot is a short drive away on the Nolichucky river in Erwin TN. Other great nearby hiking options include Big Ivy, Pisgah Forest, and Mt Mitchell. 10 minutes to the cute college town of Mars Hill with a brewery, restaurants, Saturday morning farmers market, and coffee shop. Tangle Cove

Alea was wonderful, made sure we had firewood access our first night when it dipped to 29, great access to so much whitewater and other areas. View is amazing in the morning!

Tangle Cove

Sweet little farmstead on a steep mountainside. There is a large flat area for a few tents or couple of cars/ trucks and an open air barn. Best for tent or car camping, not a lot of spots to string a hammock. Great view, amazing stargazing. May need four wheel drive to get up to the spot.
