Wake up on the bright side at Sunny Side Up, a cozy riverside yurt tucked along the peaceful Cane River, just 30 minutes off I-26 (Exit 9) and about 16 minutes from Spivey Gap on the Appalachian Trail. This one-room retreat offers a simple, off-grid mountain experience with all the basics you need to unplug and unwind. Inside, you’ll find a wood stove for cool nights, a propane refrigerator and stove, and space to sleep up to four guests. There’s even a massage table available if you’d like to bring a bit of spa energy to your stay. Step out onto the back deck overlooking the river—perfect for your morning coffee, stargazing, or drifting off to the sound of rushing water. An outhouse is located nearby. There’s no air conditioning or cell service, but Wi-Fi can be added for an extra fee, and you can usually find a good signal about 10 minutes away in either direction. Please note: The property is not wheelchair- or mobility-friendly due to the natural terrain.
