This land was once owned by Noah Hays himself. He was the main farmer on this land along with other farming land on this road. Hints the name "Noah Hays Road". We stopped farming this land long ago but some of his relatives are still farming on the land he use to farm on. You will see one of his old plots still being farmed across the street from our property. There is still the old cabin he use to live in along with an old curing barn they use to hang the tobacco in after harvest. Supper cool! Learn more about this land: This is a new listing. Cabin · Sleeps 6 · 1 bedroom · 2 beds
Nestled in the foothills of North Carolina beside a small river sits a beautiful (off-grid) cabin by the edge of a secluded field. At the edge of the secluded field is a walking trail that meanders through the forrest where you will find yourself surrounded by the sights and sounds of authentic North Carolina woodlands and wildlife. The cabin sits at the back of a secluded field beside the south fork of the Mitchell River. The field is great for letting the dogs run, frisbee, corn hole, bocce ball or to just laying around/sunbathing. At night you can star gaze for hours and/or sit by the fire and listen to wood crackle and the water below. The cabin is super cozy and off the grid. There is a generator that powers the air-conditioning and heating unit along with lights/outlets inside and outside. The space has a super comfortable queen size bed along with a full sized bed and a hammock set up that runs from one corner beam to the center beam that can be put up in seconds for lounging and sleeping. There are 6 windows inside and two doors with windows this gives the room a very open and comforting feeling. We have ports johns within walking distance from the cabin and they are serviced regularly. We provide clean drinking water and clean sheets/blankets/pillows everything else we recommend you bring with you. (Drinks, snacks, lighter for starting a campfire, pre-downloaded music, anything else you would bring on a trip that is disconnected from society and the internet) There are a handful of great restaurants/wineries/breweries/hiking/outdoor attractions in the area. You can find my top pics further down on the listing. There is little to no cell reception at the cabin which is good and bad. Text messaging go through occasionally but best service is found right outside of the property up the hill. We are opening the space for small events such as (weddings/retreats/birthday parties/etc.) If you are interested about hearing these rates send me a message or call me directly. Best, Tanner
