Valle View Camp Spot! A flat and private spot. Praise Be! Quiet area of Valle Crucis. It is just 2 miles from the original Mast General Store. Larger units must back in carefully between the guard rail and the ditch. The lot had some damage from Helene. This is a parking lot of an old church and sits by two small creeks. Maximum stays are up to 6 nights. No water, no septic. No generators are allowed.  Large concrete pad/parking lot for RV and an extra car or two. This is a campsite only, an RV is not included. We have electricity but no water or septic.  In the spring, summer, and fall - We have a toilet and hand-washing sink inside the building that you may use if you select this as an "add-on". A code to enter the building will be sent if you add this feature. This site does not have potable water and does not have a shower. The closest public bathrooms are at Valle Crucis Community Park. Mountain Dog Coffee and Holloway Corner Kitchen are private, but good places to start your day with coffee and/or food. Please respect our neighbors by limiting noise. This lot is private, but you may see or hear the neighbors. Dogs must always be on a leash when outside your RV or car.  There are no garbage cans or trash pick-up; pack it out, please. The trash/convenience center is about 2 miles away on 194 for you to take your garbage.  We DO NOT advise taking Clarks Creek Rd. from 105 to get to this location. You must travel to Clarks Creek through Valle Crucis via 194. You must also detach any trailer or towed items a mile or so before the camp spot and before the switchbacks. Please view the map and be comfortable with travel to our campsite. There are sections of the road with no shoulder and pit holes due to current construction/road work. There is very limited cellular service in this area. WiFi & WiFi calling should work fine. --- We have a 50 AMP Hookup NO water NO septic. If you have 2 cars, trucks or RVs in the same group you may add them on as another unit. Grandfather Mountain Campground on 105 allows non-guests to use their dump station for a fee. The trash/convenience center is about 2 miles away on 194 for you to take your garbage. We had a great overnight stay! Cheryl is a fantastic host who was very attentive to our requests. Additionally, she communicated with us to solve a problem we had created with the bathroom lock late at night. We really appreciated the help when she could have just let it go until the morning!!!! The sound of the creek at night was spectacular. Set up was so easy. While the site is just off the road - there’s little to no traffic to cause any disturbance. We will stay here again. Thanks, Cheryl!

What a perfect little spot to get away from everyone and everything! Beautiful mountains ALL around with small creek right beside the camper. No traffic, no loud neighbors, no worries!

Beautiful little secluded spot way off the beaten path. Low to no traffic on the roads and sweet little creek running beside the camper for a peaceful evening outside. It’s just you, the camper and nature!

Trust Cheryl’s directions! Very private spot with sounds of babbling brook adjoining. We look forward to staying again. Our 28’ travel trailer was easily accommodated. 50 amp hookup, with strong WiFi, but no water or sewer which was fully disclosed and no problem for our 4 day stay. Loved it, and loved clear communication throughout!

Quiet parking lot with stream.

Flat, quiet small parking lot. Electric box worked well. Strong Wifi. Nice to be alone without noisy neighbors. Roads slightly challenging for a 28 ft trailer, but just come in from the Mast General store side and you should be fine. Cheryl was very kind and accommodating. Made sure we were settled in and gave some suggestions for food. Nearby Pearles at the Mast General store had great, reasonable priced food. We had the raspberry scone and it was delicious.

Nice spot central to mountain biking and skiing near Boone and Banner Elk. Used as base camp to ride Rocky Knob and grab a few meals at local joints. 20 ft travel trailer w 30 amp hook up. Owners were great and super helpful on nearby amenities.

Great site. A little traffic since it sits near a corner but not at all an issue. Very quiet and peaceful. Nice to have the sound of the adjoining creek as well. Host was very helpful with suggestions of things to do etc. also, great to have power hookup and access to restroom in the studio space. Highly recommend.

Praise Be was the cutest little spot. There is plenty of room for an RV or any camper van of your choosing! The road its on is local traffic only so very quiet. The best part was the bathroom in the lobby!!

Who knew staying on a paved parking lot could be so relaxing? We had a very pleasant night with our two pups on at Cheryl’s Praise Be campsite. It was totally quiet and felt very private. The drive there was through such a beautiful area of North Carolina. I’d stay again if I’m in the area.

We couldn't be more satisfied with our stay at this RV spot near Valle Crucis. It was truly everything we needed. The site was easy to access, well-maintained, and had a great electric hookup for our RV. The surrounding area was peaceful, allowing us to fully embrace the serenity of nature. Cheryl was very welcoming and always quickly to communicate when needed. The proximity to Valle Crucis added a special charm to our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the local attractions and the beautiful countryside. We highly recommend this spot to anyone seeking a tranquil, convenient, and hassle-free RV camping experience. We definitely plan on coming back in the near future. An absolutely five-star experience!

Another great visit in the books at Praise be! Cheryl was quick to respond and check in with us to make sure our trip was going well. It’s always so nice to come and have a private, level, paved site with electricity close to everything in Valle Crucis, Boone, Banner Elk, and Blowing Rock. Wifi is a great new feature, as wireless can be spotty in the mountains.

What a BLESSING, to have a level paved campsite in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains! Host was great about communication, and booking was a cinch. Beautiful spot next to a babbling brook and surrounded by mountains. Whether you want to hike and explore or shop and eat this spot is close enough to it all. Having electric was a great feature as summer was trying to “hang on” just a little longer and we could have a/c when it warmed up during the day. The neighbors coon dog was on alert while we were there but seemed docile. He does wander into the campsite, so if you are traveling with a reactive dog, take note. Also, follow the hosts directions in from Valle Crucis, it is the better route. Our 15 ft camper had no problems on the winding and switch backs but bigger trailers and RV’s might. Great spot! Great host! You won’t regret Booking it! 100% Recommend. Looking forward to our next visit to the “lil church” in the mountains!
