We stayed on cabin 11 for 3 nights and we loved it, the staff were very kind, the bathhouse was perfect, the cleanest I’ve seen in my many trips, the kitchen is fully equipped and very clean as well, very convenient since there are not too many options for breakfast around. The farm is close to Asheville, Gatlinburg, etc, very quiet, peaceful, I will definitely stay there again soon! I recommend this place 110%!

Group Camping at Paint Rock Farm

The farm dogs respected space and didn't really approach our dog, which is perfect for our situation. (Ours was Non aggressive, just nervous). Its the perfect mix of primitive with amenities. Showers, bathrooms, water spigot up toward the barn that has a kitchen and wifi/electricity. At the campsite it had a beautiful overlook and plenty of privacy. The only thing I could complain about is there's no loop, so if someone is parked loading or unloading at a cabin, you're kinda stuck. No way to the tent site or out. The hosts had an awesome swimming hole recommendations also! Definitely check it out!

Incredible outdoor experience! Exquisite property with a ton of great hiking trails, the clamping cabins are so great - my partner and I stayed in a river view cabin. The common space in the barn is great and the shower + restroom facilities were top notch.

Mountain Meadow Glamping Cabin #7

My husband and I enjoyed our short weekend stay at Paint Rock. The cabin is situated on a beautiful property and was cozy and comfortable for the two of us and our two, medium-sized dogs. If staying during the winter, make sure to pack warmly! Overall we were happy to have a little R&R post-Thanksgiving and would love to return in spring or summer!

Magical and restorative!

This spot is quite magical and very restorative! Being so close to Hot Springs made it easy to visit the resort for a soak and access local hikes. Major pluses to the property are the bathhouse (super clean and temperature controlled), the community barn space and kitchen, the 360 views at the property, the comfy and cute furnishings in the cabins, the little hikes available on property, and the dog friendly environment (on leash). We brought our own tools to cook at the picnic table and grill provided at each cabin, but the community kitchen was great for doing dishes and breakfast one morning. It’s nice being able to drive up to the cabin to drop off and load up stuff, but also have the vehicle parked elsewhere to engage a little more with the natural feel of the place. I highly recommend staying here! We loved it.

Exceptional!

Our family of 4 had an amazing experience glamping here! It was so nice to feel immersed in the outdoors without the setup of a tent and all of the additional packing of supplies. The amenities were spotless & comfortable. The land is breathtakingly beautiful, and we loved the proximity of town for eateries & exploring. What a truly special place the farm is. Our time spent here was exceptional and we will most definitely return.

The BEST!! This place is heavenly - so beautiful in every single direction. The cabins are adorable and spacious, each one with a fire pit and gas heater inside. The barn is gorgeous with great lighting and a kitchen. William is a great host and the welcome pup, Nugget, is too cute. The showers and bath house is heated and super clean - and hiking from the site is great too. We will definitely be back!!

Tiny House Big Views

This spot is magical. My husband and I stayed a couple of nights while celebrating our honeymoon. It was perfect, the views in every direction were so beautiful and peaceful. Went out to mediation point, grilled a delicious steak dinner, snuggled by the fire while star gazing, said hello to the chickens and cute piggies. In town we ate at Big Pillow Brewing, enjoyed the hot springs at the resort and went for a hike a Lovers Leap Loop.

The property was so beautiful and the cabins were super nice! The kitchen was nice and very convenient for cooking breakfast. The bathhouse was the nicest one I’ve ever seen. Plus it was only a 10 minute drive into town. All around great experience and great place to bring your dog!

My partner, our dog, and I had a delightful extended weekend at Paint Rock Farm. We stayed in the Tiny Home and couldn’t be more pleased. It had all the necessities like a mattress, toilet, shower, microwave, mini fridge and burner. There was potable water, and the place was very clean when we arrived. It was a great mix of getting the camping experience, but also having some amenities to make it more comfortable. Our dog had a fantastic time running around off leash with some of the resident and visiting pups, and the surroundings were absolutely gorgeous. We didn’t want to leave, and would love to come back in the future. The views really are magical! One note I would make is to possibly make it clearer what the dog situation is on site *before* booking. We were thrilled to find there was lots of freedom for our dog—off leash dogs are welcome if they aren’t bothersome. Dog visitors are not uncommon, and there are resident dogs who stop by too. In all, my dog had the best time! But I know some dogs are very polite, but don’t do well with off leash dogs or close visitors. I would be really bummed if that were our situation, and we didn’t find out until a few days before our booking began.

Heaven on Earth at Paint Rock Farm

Peaceful, surreal, and astonishingly beautiful describes our stay at Paint Rock Farm. Our kind host, Tama, warmly welcomed my husband and I upon our late nighttime arrival, and made us feel right at home. During our short stay at Paint Rock Farm, we lodged in a tiny home on the property. The home was meticulously well-crafted, and nicely furnished with a modern rustic aesthetic. Equipped a full kitchen, generous bathroom, and comfortable full-sized bed, this tiny home had everything my husband and I could possibly need. The spacious deck adjoined to the tiny home was perfect for outdoor dining under the stars. The next morning, after having had a cup of freshly brewed coffee, my husband and I were ready to explore the grounds of Paint Rock Farm. This place is, truly, beyond words. All the structures and lodgings complement the natural beauty of the property, and its cloud-capped mountain backdrop, exquisitely. And, speaking of structures and buildings, everything (the bath-house, communal kitchen, barn, etc.) was spotless. The level of cleanliness and the overall attention to detail at Paint Rock Farm was immaculate. With over 100 pristine acres of land, Paint Rock Farm feels like its very own universe-- or, at the very least, its own state park. There are well-maintained hiking trails, gorgeous, panoramic river views, and wooden benches strategically positioned throughout the property. If you love nature, you will love Paint Rock Farm.

Beautiful Property.

My first time in a tiny house and it was awesome. It had everything I needed for a quick getaway. The house was very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend if you’re on the fence. Had a wonderful and relaxing time, just wish I had more time to explore the property and all the trails. It really is a beautiful place with great views of the river. William, the host was a great guy and very friendly. I definitely will be going back.

Loved the tiny house! Decided on this spontaneous trip with my roommate and my dog and it was all amazing! My pup had the best time and even made other dog friends (nugget and suki). Highly suggest if one is looking for a relaxing couple of days away from society

Wow. 1 of a kind.

We have found a gem. This property was beyond our wildest dreams. The feeling immediately after reaching the precipice of the property is breathtaking. We stayed during 3 straight days and nights with sub 30 degree weather at night and awoke each day refreshed. (with proper preparation to stay warm) Our insane border collie Haze seemed to find himself in those mountains and loved every second of his commune with nature. Our cabin, barn, bath house, and entire property was clean and cared for! Bath house especially was something i worried about before booking, my fears were nonsense, it was private and an easy 2 minute walk from the furthest cabins. Do not hesitate to visit here, you will never in your life forget it, and all for very positive reasons! Thank You! (We will be back!)

My dog and I came here and had an absolutely amazing time. This farm has beautiful views of the NC mountains and my dog got to be off leash the entire time. I’ll be coming back as soon as I can! The tiny house was perfectly clean, warm, and stocked with anything you’d need for the stay.

We loved it!!

Wow! We came here for two nights on our honeymoon from Philadelphia and it was the perfect place to unwind! Falling asleep to the sound of the river was so soothing and waking up to the fog was beautiful. The short drive to the Hot Springs was convenient for us since we came totally unprepared for camping and could easily pick up coffee or grab dinner. Cannot recommend this place enough!!

Just what we needed!

It was an absolute joy staying at paint rock farm. Not only was the landscape breathtaking, peaceful, and serene but, the accommodations were just right for staying in a tiny house for the first time. We shall return sooner than later. Thank you. p.s. Boulder loved it too.

Bring blankets

The cabin is beautiful and clean, but the heater doesn't work properly and it is not clear in the cabin description. It gets really really cold at night and the blankets are not enough. My family and I have booked the cabin 10 because of the heater and we had have to leave one night early because we were freezing!

My stay in the tiny house was sooo dreamy. The host, Tamma, was so kind, welcoming and hospitable, and gave great recommendations for nearby hikes. The cleaning staff Amber and Darren were also amazing! Everyone here made this little slice of heaven feel like home. The house itself is adorable and full of all basic necessities, and the land is immaculate. Exploring the property and the town of Hot Springs was such a pleasure. I could not recommend this place and these people more, and I will definitely be coming back!
