The retreat center is located on a small farm in the beautiful mountains in Western North Carolina, where you will be greeted by horses, chickens and Buddy the mini Donkey, everyone's fav! We are surrounded by picturesque views and fresh mountain streams. This glamping tent is furnished with two double beds, a desk, chair and front porch seating area with your own private viewing deck of the farm. Relax and observe the beautiful surroundings and horses in the pasture. Our outdoor shower house is a one of a kind luxury. Warm rain like water cascades in the stylish private open air shower, eco friendly shampoo, conditioner and body wash is provided for you. Flush toilet is located in the barn, a convenient short walk from your tent. You will drive through the beautiful national forest on your way to the retreat center. We have a free parking lot located just around the corner from the glamping tents, you can walk around the road or enjoy our "Tranquility Trail" as you enter the retreat center from the parking lot. You will be very close to nature, although cozy and comfortable. Glamping has the best of both worlds! Western North Carolina is a mecca for outdoor adventure and natural beauty. If you are interested in white water rafting, rock climbing, kayaking, mountain biking, fly fishing, boating, horseback riding or 4 wheel adventure tours or we will gladly get you connected with the right guide! The weather in Western North Carolina is a big reason why we had selected this location to build a nature-based retreat center. Often, April and October are warm in the daytime with bright blue beautiful skies and cooler evenings and at night. We make sure there are plenty of blankets and electric heater in each glamping tent. May and September are temperate. June-August can get warm, with beautiful skies at night for stargazing. This all seems to change each year, so we recommend bringing layers for all weather and of course rain gear. Although we are nestled in the picturesque mountains, we are located just 10 minutes from the grocery store, 15 minutes from downtown Franklin where you will find unique boutique shops, top notch microbreweries and excellent dining, 30 minutes to amazing waterfall hikes and about an hour from downtown Asheville. *We clean and disinfect our accommodations and gear after every guest departure. We maintain very high standards of cleanliness and guest safety. Masks are required during group activities, we practice a socially distanced retreat experience.
