Little River Hideaway
We truly cannot say enough good things about these hosts or this property! They welcomed me and my little family with more kindness than we’ve ever experienced traveling or even near home. I’ve been through a lot emotionally and physically, and we came hoping to heal they made us feel safe, cared for, and supported. From leaving an apple for my son when he qhickly needed some fiber, to helping with groceries and packages, to lending us a propane fire pit and giving my little one a tiny shovel, their kindness never stopped.
We honestly felt like God placed us on their property for a reason. We are forever grateful.
The property is immaculate with beautiful views. Even with a nearby road, it was incredibly quiet-
early mornings and nights were almost ethereal, like being deep in the country. The pavilion was wonderful, and river access just steps away was perfect for skipping rocks and listening to the peaceful water. We also loved the community garden and the kind neighbors. Star gazing during the solar storm was completely amazing because of the extremely low light pollution from any cities. SHOOTING STARS GALORE!
Ceaser's head was only minutes away and so was Cup & Saucer coffee shop that had amazing pumpkin spice lattes and an allergy friendly quiche!
This stay was full of warmth and peace. These hosts truly feel like family to us, and because of them, we now want to move to the area. We will never forget our time here and highly, highly recommend staying with them. ❤️

Little River Hideaway
What a wonderful, peaceful campsite! We enjoyed every minute of it. We brought my 78 year old mother & she loved the easy walk to the creek & walking through the community garden & guessing what was planted. There was great communication with Jann & she made sure we knew about all the fun places nearby. It’s a wonderful location! We will be back soon!!

Little River Hideaway
We loved staying on Jann and Bill's Little River Hideaway, it was central to so many different experiences! Hiking, biking, town of Brevard is nearby for restuarants and groceries as well as a neat downtown area!
While we were there at LR, there was a Jamboree in the Cedar Mtn area that we enjoyed.
The campspot was very spacious and easy to get into, we have a 32 foot TT and had plenty of room to spread out. Our pups had fun as well, they enjoy when they have room to run!
Thanks to Jann and Bill!
We will return to their little slice of heaven when we are in the area!

We (my daughter and I) had a wonderful time. Jann was so sweet and kind. This trip would not have been possible due to an injury I incurred weeks ago. Jann and her husband made it possible. Wonderful hosts.
The campsite was pristine and private. Beautiful community garden across the gravel road. The site is very close to Brevard Downtown and great restaurants.
I’m already planning another trip to her wonderful HipCamp. I give it five + stars!!

Very large private camp site with a nice gazebo for those random rain showers. Host was communicative and the included wifi was extremely helpful as we had no service. Jann the host was very responsive. When we're back in the area we'll stay again.

Secondary Site at LRH
The sites were pristine. My daughter and I loved the covered deck to lounge in our chairs and hammock. Jann and Bill went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful experience.
We loved the community garden and stream. The dogs especially loved the stream.
Their Hipcamp will be my go to campsite when I return to Brevard each year. It was perfect. The secondary site was just right for my daughters teardrop camper.

We absolutely fell in love with Little River Hideaway! Our experience was amazing from the moment we booked until the moment we left. Jann was such a kind and communicative host, even going above and beyond to share local recommendations before our stay.
The site itself is huge, private, and beautifully maintained. We loved the pavilion and the private trail that leads straight to the water—such a bonus! While the site feels wonderfully secluded, it’s still close to stores and surrounded by countless hiking opportunities. Don’t miss DuPont State Forest—it’s truly incredible! We also enjoyed exploring Table Rock State Park.
For a tasty lunch, we highly recommend stopping by Smoke On drive-through BBQ.
A huge thanks to Jann and Bill for sharing their amazing getaway with us. We can’t wait to come back!

We had the best four days camping here with our two little ones. The creek was perfect for playing and the new gazebo was used constantly and a great place to watch the rain. Conveniently located outside Brevard with the most beautiful community garden across the path.

We loved staying at Little River Hideaway! Such an awesome setting, especially with the new gazebo. The community garden was absolutely beautiful, and we really enjoyed having the Cedar Mountain Outpost so close for food and drink. We definitely will be back.

This was a great campsite. Very well maintained with full hook ups. It’s also private with your own gazebo! The host provided wonderful directions and communicated well. The site was even ready early. We hiked to waterfalls that were a short drive away & wine tasted near Hendersonville. Highly recommend.

Little River Hideaway
We loved our stay at the Little River Hideaway. It’s a nice secluded little spot with great access to DuPont and Pisgah and all the activities they have to offer. Our toddler loved wading around and exploring the river just behind the campsite and Jann was very helpful and responsive to any questions!

We LOVED this campsite! It was clean, private, close to the most beautiful creek, and the WiFi was great. We especially loved the deck and gazebo for our use. The location was great for day trips to Pisgah National Forest, DuPont State Forest and the Blue Ridge Parkway. We also went to Asheville one day. Full hookups were a bonus. Definitely recommend!

We loved the location. There is a community garden just across the road, beautiful flowers and vegetables growing. Met some of the gardeners. Very nice people. Everything worked well, no problems!

We enjoyed a wonderful quiet weekend at this somewhat secluded campsite. Very large space with full hook up, large enough for two campers. This is in a residential neighborhood with a nearby, beautiful community garden, not in a campground. Host Jann was an excellent host, clear directions, and information was provided upfront.
The location worked well for us as we used it as a homebase to do day trips to Dupont forest and looking glass hiking, town was about 15 minutes.
The WiFi was helpful to stay connected since there is no cell service much of anywhere in Pisgah.
We will definitely be back!

Little River Hideaway
We just returned from yet another amazing stay at our favorite camp spot, and it did not disappoint! This has become our go-to spot , and every visit reminds us why we keep coming back.
The lot we stayed on is incredibly spacious and the privacy is unmatched. No nosy neighbors , no noise, just the peaceful sounds of nature all around. It truly feels like you have your own slice of wilderness all to yourself.
The site is well-maintained, level, and easy to access, with plenty of room for our setup and extra space to relax without feeling cramped. And the new gazebo is a great addition! Whether you're lounging by the fire, watching the stars, or just enjoying the quiet, it’s the perfect place to unwind.
If you’re looking for a campground that offers real seclusion and space to breathe, this is the one. We absolutely love it and can’t wait to return again soon!

Not a bad spot with full hookups, wi-fi, and convenient to a nice area in the mountains. We visited some waterfalls and the town of Brevard on our stay. We didn’t quite expect to be visibly right next to a house through a small patch of trees, but the neighbors were extremely quiet and we didn't even know they were there. We even parked our truck so as to block the view of the house. Being that it was spring , there was a little activity in the community garden across the small entrance, but nothing bothersome. Our first night, we enjoyed a stroll through it to see all the pretty little garden “lots”. The stream down the little path is also pretty, but there’s not much hang out room, so we didn’t find ourselves down there much. We did enjoy having the picnic table on site and the host had great communication via Hipcamp, I felt like if we needed anything they would be responsive. If we wanted to return to the area, we would definitely stay again.

Little River Hideaway
Loved our stay with our little camper and two dogs. It was nice and clean. The raised porch was perfect us to place our 12x12 canopy over to escape from the rain and sun. Nice groomed trail down to a private water spot on the river. We will def be back!

Little River Hideaway
My wife and I and our dog Bella loved camping at the Little River Hideaway. We have a 27' fifth wheel and it is a pull through site with full hookups. Jann and Bill met us at the site and showed us exactly where to park so that our camper was level. The site has a picnic table and fire pit. It feels very secluded and a short walk will take you to the little river. There is also wifi at the site which is a bonus. Brevard is a great area of NC with plenty of hiking, shopping, and beautiful waterfalls. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back at the Little River Hideaway in the future.

Took our travel trailer Coleman camper out for the weekend and this was a great spot. Very, very easy to get in and out of, pull through spot. All connections right there, sewer, water, electric, and worked perfectly. Tucked away with some privacy, would stay again.

Once again a great visit. This time our longest. This spot has convenience to many great places in the mountains including Pisgah Forest, Blue Ridge Parkway, and Caesar Head State Park. A wonderful clean and quiet site with no other camper neighbors. That's the jewel of the site.
