Our property is a beautiful south-facing slope overlooking the Tuckaseegee River. It features three camping sites, all with river views. Lot 1 offers a lovely water view, while Lots 2 and 3 also feature incredible mountain views. We are conveniently located near Dillsboro and Sylva if you need access to supplies, restaurants, or local attractions. The 3 sites are spaced out, but close together with a shared port-o-let. We are in the city limits , so you will occasionally hear traffic. Our beautiful retreat sits between two river access points, making it a great destination for fishing, boating, and outdoor adventures. This sanctuary is the perfect place to unplug, relax, and take in the beauty of nature. There are 3 sites, so you may see other humans. The drive is steep and best accessed with front or 4WD. Our Ridge brings a lovely balance between town and country, it’s an ideal home base for exploring the outdoors or simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings. This is our small lot on top of the World. This campsite is small but cozy. It will give you a wooded back drop and sweet view of the river. This space easily holds 2 tents and 1 vehicle. The Drive is steep but freshly graveled. Front and 4WD strongly recommended. You will have a moderate walk down the hill to the toilet provided. Everything is pack in, pack out. We provide Fire rings for your camping experience. Please bring your own firewood, and the gas station heading toward Sylva has some as well. Our lots are simple and primitive but magical.

This sight is mid sized and can hold 2 tents and 2 cars. It offers my favorite Vista view, hence the name. You will have a moderate walk to the toilet provided just down the hill. The drive is steep, but freshly graveled. There is a hairpin/2 point turn as you head up. We provide Fire rings for your camping experience. Everything is pack in, pack out. Please bring your own firewood. the gas station heading toward Sylva has some as well. Our lots are simple and primitive but magical.

This is our closest lot to the River. This wide campsite is spacious and will give you a wooded back drop and lovely view of the river. This space easily holds 3 tents and 2 vehicles. You will have a short walk to the toilet provided. We provide Fire rings for your camping experience. Please bring your own wood. Our lots are simple and primitive but magical.

Awesome weekend camp trip. Far above the roadway to avoid sight polution of automobiles driving to where they are going. Some noise noticed, irritance depends on which person you are. Later at night one is able to sleep soundly with river noise and enjoy the nights sky.one full view from tree clearing. Shovel cant dig very deep for #2 because rocks, and no rocks to sit on.... without creativity, i think theres an on.site portable. Carry a bucket of dishes across the street to wash in river and/or purify fresh water with your purification device. Good day. This is nice camping. Enjoy!

The Vista Lot 2

The vista was an excellent camp site. The grass was freshly mowed, the view was gorgeous and the porto was clean. The drive in is steep, with a hairpin turn, but totally doable with front wheel drive. 100% reccomend!

Overall, a good place. Very overgrown up to the camping spot but great location. Definitely need 4wd to get up there.

The location is beautiful and in an easily accessible area. I underestimated how steep the access to the site was and couldn’t make it all the way up there. It had also been raining a lot, which didn’t help. Julie was very accommodating and offered one of the other sites. Julie was a great host! Gave me some great recommendations for food, supplies, and trails.

The Vista Lot 2

Please read: the sites are beautiful, the hosts are kind and communicative, the nearby towns of Sylva and Dillsboro are really cute. The only issue with the site is it’s on a steep incline and it was raining around the time I was there. I couldn’t make it up the hill to either of this higher sites and even the initial hill was very tough to get up. I would only recommend booking here with a 4 wheel drive vehicle.

Overall we had a great experience. Unfortunately the veiw of the river also included the busy road cutting between the site & river. Access to site was far steeper than what was described. Unless you're a pro trucker, I wouldn't recommend any type of RV. Anything larger than a small popup would have extra difficulty. The site didn't feel as "inspirational" listing to the traffic and construction. Now, I understand that the construction wasn't anything the host had control over. However, it would have been nice to have been given a heads up about the noise. Also would have appreciated not having unannounced human visitors before our reservation had ended. No body wants housekeeping busting in and cleaning around you as you pack your belongings to checkout. I personally have mental health issues and am unable to handle unknown ppl or groups of ppl around me. My husband felt like a child with a parent standing at the door to "oversee" the cleaning of his room. I on the other hand, felt trapped, cornered and in danger with the unfamiliar and unannounced Male showing up to what at the time was our "home" for the 5 days. We paid for 5 days & 4 nights of privacy & seclusion to unplug from the outside world. We unfortunately did not get that at our site. We did however achieve that at one of the waterfalls that we hiked to. Also be prepared to have a neighbor of the beaver type. VERY COOL and just down the road at thr park you may see Otter, as we did while picnicking.
