The adult wild farm is just a perfect campground unlike many commercial campgrounds. It’s a very homey and cozy place to go. Michel is absolutely wonderful. Can’t say enough about her just a very, very nice lady and if I’m back in North Carolina anytime that’s where I’ll be staying.

This place is absolutely wonderful. The owner is so sweet and thoughtful. It will be our go to spot anytime we are in town for horse shows. Its quite and well taken care of and if you have an animal lover they will love it here.

It was a great spot and close to Sedgefield at The Park- perfect for horse shows. She provides you everything you may need firewood, cute little donkeys/ goats and Michelle is very hospitable. Perfect Host!

Great location for the horse park (2mins) & very safe & comfortable. Owner on site & welcoming. Had a nice path to walk dogs on leash.

This was a pretty and peaceful campground I loved the donkeys and goats that loved to get pets and the owner is so very helpful and friendly! Will def be back when I need life to slow down a bit ❤️

My mom came down from Indiana to ride horses with me for the week. Idlewild was a great find for her and it was easy to get backed in and set up with full hook up! Great property and fun animals to meet.

Michelle is an amazing host! Super friendly and responsive! We so enjoyed our stay! I appreciated the nice level pad and easy to use hook-ups. My granddaughter loved the goats and other animals. And we all enjoyed the peace and quiet. Thank you!

Overall it was a great experience. The owner was very responsive and nice. The only compliant I have was the lack of a septic system. They had portable sewer tanks set up behind the sites. In my case, the tank was at the same level as the sewer outlet on my fifth wheel. I was able to dump grey water after spilling some and walking the hose up to the temporary waste tank. I didn't want to even try to dump the black tank as that would have been a huge mess. The owner assured me an inground septic system was on the way. Other than that the stay was very pleasant and quiet.

Enjoyed my 4 night stay at Idlewild Farm. Michelle is a wonderful host and made me feel right at home from the first minute after arrival. The pads are plenty big and easy to back onto. As a single traveler, I felt very safe.

Michelle has a beautiful setting at Idlewild. It is peaceful and quiet and clean. The animals are an added bonus. It makes for a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Plus Michelle is so kind, welcoming , and very knowledgeable about the area.

We have been RV camping for 21 years now and we just had the most amazing experience. The hosts are the most kind and caring people we have ever worked with. The sites were full, but they made us feel like we were the only ones there. My kids (and wife) loved being able to pet the donkeys and goats whenever they wanted to. What an awesome place to camp. They have a community fire pit with pre-split logs to use. This is a MUST experience. Thank you so much Michelle! You're amazing 🙌

This was our second stay here! It’s nice and quiet and Michelle and her husband are the nicest people. We enjoyed walking our dogs on the trail around the property and seeing all of the farm animals. We will definitely stay here again when in the area.

I loved the animals, especially that grouchy ol pig Petunia! The lots are spacious and if you can get #4 it’s the best one in my opinion. It faces lovely grape vines and the donkeys and goats are very close. It was a full hookup site and very quiet! It’s off the beaten path but has a cute town nearby called Raeford. We enjoyed lunch and a delicious bakery there. The only thing I wish was different was having your own campfire instead of a community one. I wasn’t comfortable bringing my dog to the fire with other people and small children . I would recommend this quaint little campground to a family or couple.

Really nice setting. The sites were level and remained dry and clean during a major rain. Our hostess was amazing. She met us at arrival and showed us to our site. She had great recommendations on things to do and places to eat and visit. This is an active farm with several animals with walking trails, fire pits with wood supplied and play area for children. We will definitely be back to stay here and visit the surrounding towns.

The stay was good but I thought we had full hook up. The dump station was on top of the ground. The hole was to small for us to use. They have animals which was fun to watch. Their just starting so I understand I would stay again. Your not that far from town and it's quiet.
