Located on the Appalachian Trail in the Town of Hot Springs, home to the French Broad River, the Big Pillow Brewery, four restaurants, a diner, outfitters and grocery stores. A short walk to the famous Hot Springs Resorts and Spa, the only public hot springs this side of the Mississippi. Hot Springs rests on the banks of the French Broad River, the third oldest river in the world, with Class III and IV rapids, accessible by area rafting companies. This is an urban lot with a full hook-up site for travel trailers and campers, 30' length maximum. No fifth wheels. Amazing sunrise and sunset views of Rich Mountain range to the north and Hot Springs Mountain to the south. Walk anywhere in town from the site.

Back in to camp and enjoy long-view sunsets. A shared fire ring w/ cooking grate, a shared outdoor sink and solar shower, and the many wonders of Hot Springs via a short walk into town on the AT! (mile marker 273) The town of Hot Springs is reopening after the flood. Please do your own research to see what business have reopened. The only public natural hot springs this side of the Mississippi! Whitewater rafting (class III and IV) on the French Broad via Hot Springs Rafting Co.. Pets are not recommended due to neighboring dogs and proximity to the road. Therefore please ask permission of the host

This is a drive-thru site with full hook-ups. The site is on the grass, it is well drained. but still can get a little wet during big rain. Your door will face away from the road. A shared fire ring w/ cooking grate, a shared outdoor sink and solar shower, and the many wonders of Hot Springs via a short walk into town on the AT! Love this spot! The host is great, the location is wonderful, and we couldn’t be happier with our stay. Can’t wait to come back to Hotsprings.

New Favorite Place in Hot Springs.

We have stayed in Hot Springs a number of times at different cabins and Airbnbs but just recently purchased an RV and this was our FAVORITE way to stay in Hot Springs now. The location is amazing, super level and easy to get into. As newer RV owners it was very easy for us to back in and set up. We put up a movie on the side of the RV watched lightning bugs. We cannot wait to come back already

Great place to stay in Hot Springs! John has everything you need and more- outdoor sink and solar shower. We are definitely going back and highly recommend this spot. Easy walk to town too.
