We are a Blackberry agro tourism farm offering 3 river front camping options equipped with warm shower, off grid shelter, river access and miles of trails to explore- completely private, but also close to many local wineries.- Camp by the river, or opt to stay above the river in the "rivernest" treehouse - which sleeps up to 4 and offers kitchenette and bathroom!

River side camp site is situated near the river and in the forest - it is less private than site 1 (paw paw grove) but closer to bath house and showers. walk along the river trail and enjoy walking under majestic cliffs - there are up to 4 miles of trails on the property- and a one mile trail that begins at river and loops above cliffs and back to the camp. River side camp has it's own fire pit, but guests can sit under the shelter or use fire side pit if the River Lounge camp is not rented

River Lounge group camp

River Lounge group camp is truly a special river front camping experience - designed for up to 15 guests, it offers a covered shelter with outdoor kitchen, off grid water system with solar lighting. There is a main fire pit by the river, and several "hang out spots" through the forest. River lounge is set up for tent camping or car/ van camping. River lounge camp includes a pull in site for up to four camper vans, truck campers. or car camping- NO RV'S - There is a communal off grid bath- and warm propane shower and up to 4 miles of trails on site. River lounge has concrete ramp to the river and is a very easy paddle up river so you can float back to camp.

Site 1 is a private pull in site situated in a small grove of paw paw trees and in between small creek and river- suitable for camper van, or up to 2 tents. Bath and shower are communal with group camp site- Please note-Group camping site about 1000 feet away- Shelter and fire-pit would be un-available if there is a group renting group camp site.

The river nest is a studio apartment with upstairs reading/ additional sleeping space that overlooks the river- it is equipped with a kitchenette, bathroom and deck with grill- It is a beautiful and eclectic space with garage doors that open to the deck and option to sleep with open air- note-this space is private but also next to our main residence- we are pet friendly, but ask that you keep pets leashed.

I needed a last minute booking and Christine was super helpful and accommodating. Site was awesome and very well maintained

RiverNest treehouse
The treehouse was gorgeous, and the land is clearly loved and well-tended. Christine and Ken were so very kind and responsive. Everything was clean and the kitchen was stocked with essentials. I wouldn't have changed a thing. Thank you for a great weekend.

River Lounge group camp
We cannot believe our incredible good luck to have found this place. Christine and Ken cover everything - with so many thoughtful touches in every area to make our stay over the top. There is ample space for multiple tents with flat sandy/dirt as the base and boat-ramp access to the river. The large open kitchen area is beautiful and would hold many if it were raining. Our group was there for an annual get-together, and we’ve decided not to explore other locations or venues, looking forward to returning.

My friends and our pups had the best time at the Treehouse! The views were great, the space was clean and had everything we needed to grill/make meals. The beds were comfy as well and the hosts were very nice and welcoming! We'll definitely be back!

This place is absolutely wonderful. The views are amazing, the house is cozy and beautiful, the beds are comfortable. Everything you could need is provided. We loved everything about it and will definitely be back

I loved everything about this hip camp! Especially, Christine and Ken , who were so wonderful and accommodating. This truly is a special place! The views are stunning whether you are by the river or on the balcony of the tiny house. It's also a blackberry farm!!!! Oh! And go hike the trails!!!! So cool with the free range chickens!!!! If you are looking for serenity and respite, THIS IS THE PLACE!!!

Christine’s place was beautiful and so cozy. The view from the treehouse is spectacular and her place is fully equipped with everything you might need for a fun stay. Christine was communicative and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay!

Absolutely loved our stay at RiverNest - we did not want to leave! Had everything we needed and Christine even made us some blackberry cobbler with their fresh berries (thanks again!). The view was beautiful and sitting on the deck was my favorite part - very peaceful and relaxing. Our two dogs enjoyed their stay as well; they loved watching birds/critters from the deck and all the nature trails to explore. It really was perfect - no complaints whatsoever; we'd gladly stay again! (:

We love cool camp sites and this one was by far the coolest one we’ve ever been to. Christine and Ken are amazing hosts and have a couple beautiful and private camp sites. Not to mention it’s on the Yasminriver and if you have friendly pups they’re welcome here too! Lots of hiking and water activities too.

Beautiful setting. On their farm. The two story rental had a lovely view of the (Yadkin) river. The scene was serene and peaceful. The lower level opens to the deck with garage style doors that really made the space feel bigger and brought the nature indoors. We would definitely go back.
