Dogpatch Farms is a farm offering Broad River access( canoe portage under construction but usable) campsites with the goal of making camping affordable again. We aren’t shooting for fancy or flashy just a clean quiet spaces and friendly safe environment where a person or group can enjoy nature without breaking the bank. We have one space for a RV/Camper with power water and septic dump ( down by the Barndo) and only a few with power and water only ( up by the well house)($60 and $40 per night respectively). Primitive areas vary from hillside, river side and open field all of which have an indoor toilet access and outside ( soon inside too) shower. Barndo is an active construction zone as we turn it into a full facility with cooking and laundry benefits so don’t expect fancy but that’s not our goal. Expect to see a sweet dog, a goat and probably a chicken ( and even enjoying a free egg) and definitely a tractor. Have a good time but I don’t tolerate stupid and you are expected to not leave a mess like a true outdoorsman should. There is an of wildlife including beavers, turkeys( roosting in the valley), deer and such to see because of our low impact approach so observe but don’t harass. We hope to become your destination and guide to the great outdoors.All sites can be accessed with less than 5 minutes walk. No houses are visible from our spots which we consider as one of the reasons to go camping.

All sites can be accessed with less than 5 minutes walk. The creek side spots allow privacy and solitude with the sound of water rolling over the rocks. Our riverside spots are on a high bluff beside the river with climb down spots. No houses are visible from our spots which we consider as one of the reasons to go camping.

I can't say enough good things about Patrick, his hospitality, and the sites and amenities available. This was our second trip at DogPatch and once again, an amazing and memorable experience was had. From the cow trough bath, to watching deer, to identifying spider species we had never seen before, it's all an experience we will never forget. Both times, as we are packing to leave, we are always thinking about another good weekend to come back out. Thanks so much for being an amazing host Patrick! Hopefully we will see y'all again soon.

I honestly don't know where to start. Patrick is AMAZING! He went the extra mile to make sure our stay was comfortable and that we had everything we needed. He explained current amenities offered, and plans for futures ones which I'm excited about. The bath was hot and so relaxing, I could lay down completely unlike in my own tub and I'm 5'8. The campsite we chose close by the river was quiet, level, and nothing but wildlife. We saw deer while cooking dinner and listened to various bird songs. We went on a small walk along the river and saw a beaver dam and the biggest orb weaver spider we had ever seen. Plenty of wood around when we went to get the fire started to cook on and keep warm. That fire was HOT! Cooked our salmon, corn, and potatoes straight on the coals in foil. Even though we stayed for one night, we fell in love quickly with the views and hospitality. I'm sure our dog even made the best memories on this camping trip. We will DEFINITELY be back with friends. Thanks so much for an unforgettable experience.

The site was in a great spot where shade was available in the morning and the evening, right next to a river. Latrine was available, and plenty of privacy. Patrick was a stellar host who went of out his way to be kind and accommodating. Would 100% stay here on my next visit to the area.
