Come feel the sun through a thousand green leaves in our yard /forest near the beach. We have dozens of colorful birds on site. 3.5 miles to Emerald Isle beach. 2 miles to shopping, go karts, arcade and restaurants via paved bike trail. Nature trail, kayak launch and entertainment all within 3 miles. On Site: Mini fossil/shark tooth dig, ping pong, cornhole, gas fire pit, wifi, hammock and bath house with indoor and outdoor toilet and shower. 30amp or 110 electric at both sites. Water hose outside and a sink in the bathhouse. Pet friendly. We live on site with our senior dog. There is a 10’ width entrance to the sites and a 11’5” height clearance to site one.Women only, we have had too many rude men and this is our home. If you are a solo decent human who happens to be a man send me a message for consideration before booking. This spot can accommodate a van or single axle rv. No slide out space. There is a utility pole with a guy-line at the entrance to be cautious of at 11’5” on the lower edge, clearly marked. It is a little narrow to back into, the entrance is 11 foot wide. Relatively flat with access to the shared outside shower and indoor bathhouse with plumbing. There is water hose available outside also. 110 or 30 Amp electric hookup. Located 3 miles or a 6min drive to the public beach entrance. Multiple public hiking trails and national forest. Paved bike path. Short distance to water sports rentals or fishing. Public boat ramp and breakfast/lunch cafe within walking distance.

Great weekend getaway!

Great place-looks just as in the photos. We pulled our campervan in, with all we needed to cook and sleep, and they had the bathroom and outdoor shower we needed. Small gas firepit to gather round with chairs. A picnic table to eat and play games or hang out at. Very close to Emerald Isle beach enjoyment, for driving, not walking. Wifi if you need it. And finally, the very welcoming hosts made it even better!

Whimsical spot for a Class B

Kelly had a great space, very whimsical with plenty of room for a class B. Bathroom, shower, and fire pit with a bunch of seating, and a picnic table. Hook ups also available for power and water. Host was very communicative and friendly. Even brought in some clothes we had hanging up to dry out in out of the rain. The entrance was a a little hidden, and tight to back into, but not a problem in a class B van.

Wonderful beach stay!

I will absolutely stay here again! Kelly is very accommodating & super kind. We loved the outdoor shower / bathroom. The indoor bath house has a dehumidifier & it's perfect for letting your towels dry out over night & super warm after a nice shower. I really enjoyed my stay. Getting to the beach is a breeze & the cafe next door is BOMB DIGGITY! Legit across the street, affordable & delish! We left them an amazing review as well. Thank you again Kelly. Y'all are awesome 😎 💯% xoxo See y'all again soon!

The Hidden Gem has a lot to offer in the way of privacy and creature comforts including two toilet/bathing areas, a picnic table, firepit and hammock, as well as games and treats! The hosts are very accommodating and friendly, welcoming me and my pup.

Awesome site and hosts! Its super close to the beach (10 mins drive) and great immunities (there is even a washer should you need it). I immediately felt welcomed by Kelly, it was like staying at an old friends place!

Hidden Gem lives up to its name!

Staying at Kelly’s “Hidden Gem” was amazing! Surrounded by trees and the sound of birds, the peaceful atmosphere was unexpected so close to EVERYTHING! Emerald Isle, Hammock Beach, restaurants, and a gorgeous trail connecting boardwalks across the marshland. This quiet spot has it all; friendly but not intrusive hosts, clean restroom, hot showers, fire element, cool beach theme, electric & water hookups, and location, location, location. I’m already planning another trip back this Summer.
