The Landing large deck Waterfront
We were staying at this site for 1 night on a last minute weekend getaway. The site was clean and exactly what we expected. Great for fishing and such an amazing view! We ended up extending our stay inter night because it was so peaceful and beautiful. Will definitely return.

My wife and I loved it here. Site 5 was big enough for our two person tent. The cafe was useful to rinse off our dishes and the bath house was great for a quick hot shower during the cold October mornings.

I loved camping at Paul's place! The area was secluded and quiet, with beautiful views all around. I loved seeing and hearing so much wildlife. We stayed at the Pelican Point site, and saw many crabs and even shrimp at night! A wonderful experience.

Camp 5 Waterview Tent site on sand
The campground was a nice little spot next to the road. It seems like the perfect spot for families with younger kids as there's lots of little trails for littles to explore and practice their balance on. I had a great time and Paul was an excellent host to us. During the storm he allowed us to move from our original campsite so our tent wasn't blowing around so much. I had a great time and would definitely go back!

Crocket Landing (Paul’s place) was awesome. Absolutely everything (and much more) that you would like to have at a campsite. The hot shower is a luxury, getting as hot as you could possibly want it. And it was hardly 25 minutes to the beach. We stayed at Camp 4, the tree fort, and it was awesome. Met Paul, what a rad dude. Great vibes and peaceful to the max. Can’t wait to go again. 🩵

STELLAR CAMPGROUND. very sweet and intentional and the ideal little spot. even though you are close to all things and the road, its exceptionally peaceful and little to no road noise. amenities are very thoughtful and the camp sites are so cool. loved it.

We loved this campsite! There were so many thoughtful little touches that made it nice and welcoming. We came here for one night with our one year-old. We appreciated the “café“ little outdoor kitchen, with pots and pans to cook with. We also appreciated the bathrooms, and the hot shower was really nice! Each of the campsites has a cool design, and it’s right close to the water. We got to use the canoe and go out on the water at sunset. Paul was very helpful and responsive in helping us get the canoe, and super nice to talk to! It was very quiet and peaceful here. We would definitely like to come back someday!

We had such a great experience camping at Crockett Landing! Paul was a wonderful host and gave us information about the place and the surroundings.
The beautiful natural surroundings made it so relaxing, and we especially loved that the campsites are right by the water—it was perfect for fishing. The campground is also well-equipped, with clean bathrooms and hot showers, which were a big plus on chilly days. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Camp 4 Pelican Point Tree Fort
Very fun and a great alternative to woods camping. Paul was kind and accommodating, the bathrooms & showers were awesome, and it was a good time exploring the grounds. IMO, you should have some camping experience to be comfortable at Pelican Point—decent walk from car to site (although very cool), shade was hard to come by, lots of tiny crabs, and the site was fairly wet making fire starting tricky. Sound also travelled from the large site but it was a big rowdy group, so just bad luck lol. Some quirks but overall a fun and unique experience, and would come back to try out the other sites!

Camp 4 Pelican Point Tree Fort
Highly highly recommend the campground as a whole. Absolutely beautiful, quiet in nature, but also close to beaches and restaurants etc. We took full advantage of the dock and caught a few fish. We brought our own poles but it looked like they had some we could borrow if needed. They seemed to have everything, you just had to look or ask. Full disclosure: our campsite on the island did flood at high tide in the middle of the night. Not sure if the tide normally gets that high. But when we got back from our night fishing adventure the whole site was underwater. Our tents were safe on the deck but we almost set up in the sand and we’re thankful we didn’t. So definitely keep that in mind. It was still very fun and we’d love to come back and spend more time exploring the grounds (hiking the trails and kayaking). The portapotty was convenient and the shower was hot. Host was friendly and made us feel right at home. Also: definitely bring all the skin so soft and bug spray because sand gnats are insane in marshy places like this.

Absolutely loved this place. Amazing “lost boy” vibes and everything you need right there. Cooked all our meals at the outdoor kitchen provided and was nice to have a shower at the end of the day. We car camped in our SUV and enjoyed walking the trails around the property. Paul was super nice and had kayaks available to paddle out in. Amazing sunset views and the star gazing was perfect. Will visit again!

Camp 4 Pelican Point Tree Fort
We love staying at site 4 with the tree fort. We were there for 4th of July weekend and got to enjoy all of the experiences Paul set up. My dog loved walking with us on the various trails around the property and we spent a fair amount of the day fishing off of the dock. If it weren’t for our lack of experience we probably would had caught a few decent fish as we had a few on but kept loosing them. Don’t let the walk out to the tree fort steer you away, it’s honestly a lot shorter than it looks and being a distance from the other camps was a massive plus!

We very much enjoyed our time! The host Paul was extremely nice and gave us good recommendations for things to do in the area. We particularly enjoyed taking the kayaks he provides out on the water and being able to take a hot shower at the end of the day. There’s also an outdoor kitchen set up that made it super easy to do dishes after meals.
We happen to be the only campers there during our one night stay since what would have been our neighbors had to leave early. Due to this it was very peaceful and quite except a small amount of traffic noise, but it honestly wasn’t bad at all!

We really enjoyed our evening at Crockett’s Landing despite the rain! There were three overland rigs in our group - plenty of space and level sites. Clean facilities - nice hot shower. Trails to explore in the woods and out to the water were a pleasant way to walk after a long day in the car.

Paul's property was absolutely, without a doubt, hands down the coolest campground we have ever been to. The beach like landscaping he has installed creates a very tranquil atmosphere and embraces the natural habitat. It is surrounded by marshland with little boardwalks all through the marsh. You have access to the salty water by kayak or paddle boat, whether you use his or bring your own. The setting is just simply beautiful and peaceful and it is just a little slice of heaven on earth. Paul was very kind and friendly to us. He took time to show us around the property and tell us all about how he built it and told us a bit of his story. I can't think of enough good things to say about him and his property. If you love camping, and the beach, this is a great spot for a romantic weekend for a couple or for a family to have a blast!

Paul’s place is infused with joy and intention! Know if you stay here you will be well cared for and wrapped in light. He is a lovely human and has created a beautiful canvas that I am sure will only continue to grow and reach more people. He is a kind person with an inquisitive and insightful mind. We would definitely come back!

Crockett Landing was a peaceful little spot for us to enjoy a night by the water! We booked site 7 but upgraded to site 2 and it was beautiful! It was a little tucked back so you couldn’t see the other campsites and so serene. The toilets were clean and the hot shower was a wonderful bonus!
The trails were a little bit confusing as they seemed to encroach or go through some of the campsites but besides that my dogs enjoyed exploring them and watching the little crabs scoot around under the wood boards!
We brought our own firewood but there was some leftover at our site which was nice in case we had forgotten. The common cooking area is so cute and convenient and had bug spray, lighter fluid, pots and pans, anything you could possibly need that you might have forgotten.
Overall it was a wonderful vibe and we will definitely be staying here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the landing. Wonderful expensive deck to hang out on. The beach vibe with all the colors and fabrics are great! The dock was perfect for bait and fishing. We caught shrimp and mullet for bait. And all kinds of sea life! Corakera, Sting ray, crab, and even a shark! We had so much fun! We plan on making this place a regular stop at minimum once a year. Paul is awesome! He's personable and attentive. You won't regret your stay one bit. 🤙🏼

Good place for a base camp while exploring the surrounding area. Mosquitos and gnats were bad in the evening during our stay. We had camp 4 for the first night and the second night brought high winds which were brutal at camp 4. Paul was nice enough to let us move to camp 2 which was far more sheltered. The campground is on Highway 70 and traffic is loud until about 10 at night. We went before Memorial Day and it was not busy at all.

Very nice host! Fun site lots of things to do like canoe and kayak at no cost! Tons of great fishing close by we never cast a line without getting something at every spot. The campground is newer and being improved. The showers and toilets were clean and useable. It’s more primitive than a state park but not boondocks and you have water views!

Paul’s land is a peaceful beautiful spot to get lost and unplug for a while. I stayed a night to avoid an early morning drive to a fishing trip in Beaufort. The site is very conveniently located near all of the best attractions and fun activities the area has to offer. On site you’ll find great amenities to keep yourself showered, and fed. Each campsite has its own unique personality to it. I will definitely return for a multi-night stay and bring my family along.
