Good privacy, amenities, and nature
For our party of 2 staying at Bear Hollow: Creekside Camp, this tucked away spot was the perfect little place to lay down our camp!
Coyote Valley Art Farm seems to have a lot to offer beyond this spot and we would love to check out more in the future, but for our stay, the accommodations were perfect.
It was all the necessities needed in a spot that felt fairly secluded while still being reasonable to drive back to a town. It had a pop up tent toilet, outdoor shower stand with provided hand soap, and a nice addition of a hammock and a couple chairs to cozy up under the stars or around the campfire.
We were provided an axe to chop some firewood, though what Shannon provided was just as well for getting something started if we chose not to.
There was a gate to close for some added security with being tucked away off the road, and some stone steps leading down to the creek.
We had a lot of fun in the water and the view of the stars was breathtaking.
We also got to enjoy seeing some wildlife- what we think was a bald eagle flying fairly nearby as well as an armadillo that sauntered up to the campsite. We also heard owls through the night.
All in all, its a great place to lay down camp and go explore from there, or to rest a while between adventures!
