Earn this patch by being the first to spend a night outside at a new Hipcamp.

This beautiful cabin is situated on a small family homestead 12 miles from Asheville. Seated on the highest point on our property, the cabin offers an incredible west facing view of the sunset. In this small holler the expansive night sky opens up on clear evenings. We have a rooster, a small flock of hens and many medicinal plants and native and perennial trees growing. The abundance of plant life and wooded areas invite a diverse number of bird species to the holler. We're nestled into the Fairview valley full of local farms, breweries and hiking trails. Come enjoy the music, food and art of the region. The biodiversity of these mountains offers an adventure in any season! Our property experienced quite a bit of damage from Hurricane Helene. We are still recovering and have downed wood and trees on certain parts of the land. If you are interested in accessing other parts of the property please let us know and we will try to make that option available for you. The recovery is on- going. Thanks for understanding.Our guest cabin is a 175 foot open living/bedroom space with lots of natural light and a little kitchen equip for cooking and enjoying a meal. There is a cozy double bed with extra pillows and blankets. We have a mini-split for heating and cooling or you can open the screened in windows to enjoy the beautiful song birds and soundscapes of the land. Our spacious bathroom has a composting toilet system and a lovely refurbished claw foot tub for a shower or bathing. Sit out on the West facing deck and enjoy the sunset or enjoy the outdoor table with sun shade. There is a small self -contained fire pit for your use when fire bans are not in effect.

There is a cozy double bed with extra pillows and blankets.
