Is a great atmosphere for a family getaway. The owners and staff are all very friendly and helpful. If you want to get truly unplugged and relaxed, I can’t recommend Blue Ridge Ranch enough!

Very friendly hosts, campsite had everything we needed, just no shade and no trees around, so don't bring your hammock and pack a hat and sunscreen! It gets very hot in the tent sites when the sun is up and there is nowhere to escape the sun in that area.

I couldn't have been more pleased with the Blue Ridge Ranch. There is a lot of space between sites 14-16. I had #15, which I thought was the best! It was next to a babbling brook. There is a steep wooded hill across the brook so no one is camping behind you. No artificial lighting allowed for stunning stargazing! There is no shade for those sites, but I was there in April so it was fine for me. The owner/staff was super friendly and delivers firewood to the sites. Shortly after dark it was silent for the entire night and well after sunrise. I am a woman camping alone and I felt extremely safe there. Unfortunately, I had a medical issue arise that prevented me from staying for the tour or my second night. I was disappointed as the land is gorgeous and I wanted to see more of it.

We loved camping on the farm with our dog. The creek was incredibly peaceful and the farm is very well kept. We had everything we needed, even when it was just the owner available. The outhouses are very well built and clean, the farm is easy to get around and our dog had the most fun running around the massive fields.

This was my first camping spot after a road trip. I must say the camp site near the brook was so peaceful. I could not have imagined a more peaceful spot to stay for a couple of days to rest up. The out house was new and smelled of fresh cut cedar. I have done a lot of primitive camping and this was the nicest off grid toilet I have used!!

BEST CAMPING EXPERIENCE!!

We went for a short weekend and fell IN LOVE with this place!!!! It is so beautiful no matter where on the property you stay! It’s large with a bunch to do around! Definitely booking a teepee for out next visit! We got to pet pigs and take a tour of all of the gorgeous lakes and ponds! Everything was simply stunning and the owners and workers were incredibly sweet to us! They even let our dogs come on the tour with us!!! We have camped all around the county in a tent, and this was by far the safest we have EVER felt!! Troy was extremely welcoming and so kind!!! You’re missing out if you don’t book this at least once in your lifetime!

Beautiful place to camp! We were by the creek with an amazing view of snow covered mountains. We also loved having hiking trails and were able to see a nice waterfall. Would definitely recommend fir a peaceful stay or to bring a family to!

Did some snow camping at the Blue Ridge Ranch. The host is super friendly - and took the time to make sure I had everything I needed upon check-in. Ample firewood was available and brought to the site. Will definitely return!

Favorite Spot in the Mountains

Absolutely loved camping at the Blue Ridge Ranch! The spot we had was super nice with some beautiful views! Loved falling asleep listening to the running water in the creek. The folks that checked us in were super nice and the facilities were wonderful. We will be back again soon!!!

Beautiful, quiet, clean, and relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Ranch and will definitely be back. The staff was very hospitable and the store was a nice place to pick up a souvenir and for morning coffee.

A gem near the Blue Ridge Mtns

My wife and I enjoyed our 6th visit to this location (Hipcamp + Harvest Hosts) and enjoyed the great staff, amazing surroundings, and the hospitality of Blue Ridge Ranch. If you haven't visited here yet, you must put this on your list as the hills and serenity of the valley will make you want to come back often. We stayed along the river at the 'beach' location and at night the stars are breath-taking to behold. This continues to be one of our favorite locations and with many different types of birds along the ranch and river banks you will find plenty of nature to enjoy. One thing we highly recommend is to try the bottled Apple Cider for sale in the general store. It's a perfect treat around the campfire. They also have a really great tour of the entire ranch from a US Army truck that we have enjoyed before. Don't wait, book today and see for yourself what we've known for awhile now; this is one of the best kept secrets for peaceful camping.

This was my first camping experience and Will, Troy and Nanette ensured it will be memorable right from the planning stage when I spoke to them over phone to clarify little practical doubts to accommodating my delayed arrival as I got lost and checking and ensuring that we are all set with camping and temperature the first night. The site is beautiful 450+ acres, lots of trails and ponds. They do guided tour in a majestic military truck. My 8 yr old son prepared a thank you note for Troy which he couldn't deliver as we couldn't meet him during checkout for a ride on tractor and truck...next time for sure.

This was our 4th visit to Blue Ridge Ranch. Each and every time we have come here we have had a great time. The owners Troy & Nanette are such great people and their staff are friendly and helpful. When you check in you'll have a chance to step inside the Outpost store. This visit we purchased a pull over hoodie sweatshirt for the wife and then I got a bottle of this cider ( a must now on every visit). With a wide open valley with miles of wooded trees in their Fall colors, this location is a must for a relaxing visit. Avoid the crowded cookie-cutter RV parks and reward yourself with a truly awesome outdoor experience. The route off of the 421 is a nice curving road of @8 miles and then you round the last corner to the 400+ acres of Blue Ridge Ranch. When you stay you not only are helping your soul to recharge but also you help support the ranch itself: https://blueridgeranch.com. The Blue Ridge Ranch has partnered with Hope for His Children, a 501©3 nonprofit corporation to offer a variety of camp experiences for youth. All proceeds to The Blue Ridge Ranch flow directly to Hope for His Children. Every dollar that our guests spend at the ranch for camping, for an outdoor event or at our camp store goes to a good cause and is making a difference in the lives of our youth. Tent sites were very spacious. We had enough room for a 6-8 person tent, along with a full size pickup truck (still had space). The views were amazing with plenty to explore. The hosts were friendly and made sure had what you needed.
