Our property is a 103 acre farm located in Savona, NY - offering Goat Yoga on the Homestead May - September. Be sure to check our website for scheduled dates or schedule a private session. At ZiegenVine Homestead, we promise to provide a simple, cheerful, beautiful property where you can experience life outdoors and nature in its true glory. We invite you to walks the trails around the property, schedule a farm tour that includes an up close visit our goat herd, as well as meet the rest of our farm animals. ZiegenVine Homestead is a 103 acre farm located in Savona, NY. Pitch your tent on our primitive tent site with a view of the sunset and the stars. In order to park at your tent site AWD or 4wd is required, or you can walk in.   Interested in Kayaking?  With a quick 10-minute drive to the Cohocton River - Bath Boat Launch.  The next access is 6.7 miles down river in Campbell- be sure to check out Chemung River Friends fore more information on local river access.  We are located within 30 minutes of Keuka Lake, Waneta and Lamoka Lakes and Seneca Lake-  There are kayak rental companies at Keuka and Seneca.   Sites come with a fire pit and  plenty of wood for campfires.   While we love to share our land with campers we ask you to remember we are a farm and will schedule farm tours during morning or evening chores. We have goats, chickens, pigs, ducks & turkeys. Check in for camping is after 2:30 p.m.  As we are a farm we ask that you plan to arrive before 9 p.m. as we rise early in order to take care of our animals. Park your Skoolie, RV, Travel Trailer, Conversion Van or Camper between the chicken coop and animal paddock with a view of the farms vegetable garden. Have a small campfire with provided fire wood. This site is in the center of the farm action. Presently our farm is home to goats, chickens, ducks, turkeys & cows. You can  Enjoy farm fresh eggs when they are available. We welcome you to ZiegenVine Homestead- we are an operating farm.   The Cabin in the Woods is a primitive cabin - no electricity and no water. There is queen bed and a bunk bed (twin), thick area rug, 2 rocking chairs and a wood stove.  We provide you with firewood, kindling and matches so no need to bring any with you.  We have updated the exterior siding and insulated the cabin for 2024.    We welcome you to schedule a visit with our farm animals, walk the trails and explore nature.  If you are up early enough you may be able to watch Allison milk a goat.  ***Be sure to schedule time to visit the our farm store - to stock up on goat milk soap, honey from our bees and maple syrup made from our trees! Please note that this site books out the entire property! We are a 103 acre farm located in Savona, NY - offering Goat Yoga on the Homestead May - September. Be sure to check our website for scheduled dates or schedule a private session, or to schedule a goat milk soap making class during your stay. (yoga and soapmaking must be scheduled in advance) Included in this booking: Cabin in the Woods, Tiny House, Bison Overlook - tent site and the RV parking site as well as use of the Gathering Space - which has a residential refrigerator and oven, sink, coffee pot, woodstove & chairs. Larger groups will need to rent a port-a-john from a local vendor.

Amazing campground! 10/10. The sites have amazing views and there is so much to explore on the property. They have super friendly farm animals and plenty of trails for a nice hike. Would definitely recommend and will be trying one of their cabins in the future!

We have been to this awesome little cabin numerous times. The property is beautiful and the owners are wonderful people! Can’t wait to go back again. We highly recommend staying here to relax, unwind, and connect with nature. Love this place!

Amazing site, sun up to sun down just staring into the sky. trails to explore and a secret treasure chest. Me and the kids loved every minute. The girls appreciated the cute fully plumbed toilet and sink. my son enjoyed helping out with the animals. my favorite was the sunsets.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin in the woods on Randy & Allison's homestead. It was very relaxing to walk the trails, visit the farm animals, and relax in the peace and quiet for a few days. We have tent camped here a few times as well. Always a great visit- a beautiful spot convenient to many local attractions but also a great place to kick back and do nothing!

Loved spending time at Randy and Allison’s farm! They are kind and accommodating hosts. This is our 6th trip out and we just can’t get enough of the fresh air and wonderful accommodations. The cabin in the woods is so cool and tho r evening and comfortably fits our family of four.

Beautiful property at the top of the hill. At night the sky looks like a planetarium! This was our second time staying here and we loved it just as much this time round. The cabin is cozy with a good spot outside for meals and a fire. We had our two kids with us (5&3) and they loved it too - the animals, wild space, and bunk beds for them. It's also a great launching point for lots of nearby attractions and Randy and Allison are lovely humans.

We had such a great time staying at Randy and Allison’s homestead! The cabin doesn’t have electricity or water, but it still stays pretty cool and the temperature was perfect at night. We loved the privacy and being able to disconnect in nature for a few days. And we also loved getting to meet all the animals! We can’t wait to go back and see PJ again!

Allison & Randy have a beautiful farm, and the cabins are lovely. I chose the cabin in the woods, but after seeing the site in person, I would choose one of the other locations next time for closer restroom proximity. The cabin itself was truly beautiful – built by hand with lumber they milled themselves, and very private. Thanks again!

Great All Around
ZVH Tiny House - New 2023
Randy and Allison were amazing people and very accomodating. They recommended local spots nearby and provided us with what we needed. The animals are great and the view in the morning is perfect with some skillet breakfast. The facilities were very clean and stocked. Access was easy and the communication was fantastic. My girlfriend and I are hoping to come again!

The farm was beautiful. We parked our camper van on top of a hill looking over the lovely farm. Pigs and chickens were our neighbors. Allison welcomed us and offered suggestions for exploring the area. A toilet and sink were close by. Allison was also very supportive when we had an issue with our van. I would highly recommend ZiegenVine for camping and visiting the Finger Lakes.

My family had such a wonderful stay with Allison, Randy, and all the animals! The cabin was exactly what we wanted: quiet, serene, cozy, with a perfect fire pit, secluded enough but close to all the farm action. Our five year old daughter had a great time exploring the trails, and feeding our watermelon grinds to the pigs. We would love to come back and highly recommend the experience to others. Thanks so much!

We stayed in the Cabin in the Woods for the first time. It was cool even with extreme heat. It was very comfortable for a family of four. The fire pit and the picnic table were a lovely bonus. There were lanterns available for use if we needed it. When we spent time outside, our daughters got to catch fireflies. It was awesome!

I can’t say enough good things about Allison and Randy. I stayed for a couple of nights with my partner on a longer trip, and within a few minutes of being there we kept talking about how we wished our whole trip could’ve been here. As soon as Allison and Randy found out we were interested in owning a farm of our own one day, they were more than happy to give us a detailed tour and answer all of our questions (and we had a lot). I left with a stack of magazines they had in the barn all about farming, gardening, and building (did I mention they built a lot of the structures on the property themselves?). As amazing as all of these things were, our favorite part had to be the animals – the goats were beyond sweet and so funny, but there were also chickens, pigs, ducks and ducklings , and (last but not least) Claire the cow. We spent most of the (sadly) only full day we were there walking in circles around the farm, feeding the pigs, and looking at the beautiful views. Also its worth mentioning Randy is a wonderful bagpipes player, and will bring them out under the right circumstances.

We had an amazing stay at Randy and Allison’s ZiegenVine Homestead! We spent four nights there and already can’t wait to return. The views from the property are absolutely beautiful—peaceful, open, and the perfect place to unwind. The animals were such a joy to be around—fun to feed, watch, and pet—and added so much charm to our experience. Randy and Allison are outstanding hosts. They generously took the time to give us a tour and answered all our curious questions about the homestead. It’s clear how much care and hard work they’ve put into the land—truly inspiring! Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to relax, reconnect with nature, and enjoy the company of kind people and happy animals.

We love visiting the homestead. I think this was our 7th trip. My 3yr old daughter put it best, "Mommy, why does it feel like we are home when we are not home". She's 100% correct, Ziegenvine Homestead is our home a way from home. The Cabin was ready for us upon arrival. We visited the new piglets, goats, and chickens every day we were there. The bunk beds are perfect for little ones, we appreciate the safety of the guard rail. The bonus at the end of the trip with the warm brownies that Allison shared with us. We are already looking forward to coming back!

I enjoyed my winter camping trip. I highly recommend , I would come back again. When we arrived, they already had a warm fire going inside the cabin. The cabin was extremely clean. Especially for a rustic cabin. The night temperature was in the 20’s but we were very warm. As they provide dry well seasoned wood. Even the wood for the outside fire was really dry and warm as well. The queen sized bed was very comfortable and sleep really well. In the am we went for a walk on their land as there was a few marked trails. It was quiet and peaceful.

Barnside Cabin-ZiegenVine Homestead
This was our 2nd time staying. This time we brought our kids and stayed in the barn side cabin. We had a great time! As always, it was absolutely gorgeous and Randy & Allison were amazing hosts. We look forward to going back again sometime.

My partner and I had the best time staying here! The view was so beautiful and where our tent was felt so safe/ private at the same time. We loved watching the sunsets and at night looking at the stars by the fire. Randy and Allison were awesome hosts and even supplied us with firewood, they also have the sweetest dog that showed us around the farm a little bit. This was such a relaxing and beautiful place to escape from the city for a couple nights, we will definitely be back for future camping trips!

Randy and Allison's farm is one of the most beautiful farmstay hipcamps I've ever stayed at. The land is absolutely picturesque, with beautiful sunsets, and incredible stars. We stayed in the cabin one night after a week of camping in an SUV, so having the heat from woodstove felt like a massive luxury. Really enjoyed cooking dinner on it and hanging out by the fire, absolutely would return!
