Winchcombe Farm spans a rolling, sunny 9 acres in Schuylerville, NY. The property backs up against a 67-acre wildlife preserve. We are blessed with a diverse range of flora and fauna on the property, and breathtaking sunset views. While we are largely secluded from neighbors and on a very quiet road, civilization isn't too far away! We're just a 3-minute drive from the village of Schuylerville and we're fifteen minutes from the town of Saratoga, where you'll find a variety of bars, restaurants, live music and the namesake, world-class natural springs. For outdoor enthusiasts, there is a number of nearby opportunities to explore, including mountains to hike and ski, trails to walk and rivers, streams and lakes to kayak. Our favorite attractions in the area include: - Bound by Fate, a farm-to-bar brewery in downtown Schuylerville (3 min. drive) - Amigos' Cantina, an authentic Mexican restaurant in downtown Schuylerville (3 min. drive) - Hiking in the Saratoga National Historical Park (15 min. drive) - Touring natural springs in Saratoga (15 min. drive) - Hiking in the Adirondacks (30-45 min. drive) Learn more about this land: This campsite is nestled into a secluded, tranquil pine grove on our 9-acre farmstead, and backs up against a 67-acre wildlife preserve. Katherine's campsite was just beautiful. We awoke in the morning to birds chirping and flitting about the flowers in the meadow. It was very easy to find, even though we arrived late at night. Our pup appreciated the space and walking paths in the morning.

We stayed here two nights when in town for a DMB concert at SPAC. Site was clean and felt private. Having the fire pit and chairs was a great bonus. There are some walking trails right on the property to explore. Directions were great. We highly recommend!

Awesome pull in for the night on our way up to the Adirondacks. Easy to find even in the dark. We were enchanted by all the goldenrod folding over in the meadow on our foggy morning walk!

My boyfriend and I crashed here after a show at SPAC, we would both definitely recommend. It’s quiet and private, we didn’t get the chance to get out and explore much but what we saw was great.

Great spot for catching a show in Saratoga Springs! Quiet, well maintained and Katherine was super helpful when we had to make a last minute change to our plans ! Would definitely stay again!

It was an easy to find and set up spot with beautiful views of the sky, lovely trails on the property and lots of wildlife. Completely hassle free and ready to set up camp. Firepit was lovely and I was provided plenty of firewood. Absolutely loved my night here!

Campsite is as advertised tucked away off the road with fire pit and table and chairs. The fireflies after dark were lovely but the voracious insects of all kinds not so much. The host communicated promptly and clearly on how to find the site. The closest bathroom was in a 24 hour gas station several miles away. There was some noise from the neighbors.

This is a convenient, simple, safe place to park your off grid rig or motorhome for a night. There’s a lovely fire pit set up w chairs and table and firewood -and beautiful sunset view of the land. We walked around half a mile to a local river and successfully swam. Hostess was responsive and kind.

Absolutely beautiful property! It was quiet and secluded and offered fantastic stargazing. It was a bit difficult to find at night, but that’s to be expected. Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend camping here!

Beautiful spot with a fantastic fire pit and firewood available. I booked at the last minute and the host was very responsive to messages. I spent a lovely, peaceful night, and I would absolutely return if I'm in the area again.

Great camping spot! It’s hard to judge just how much privacy there is when it’s on someone’s property/next to a residence. But, it was so private - separate drive, behind a grove of trees. There are some gaps and line of sight to the house but it is really a nice little slice. Great firewood and fire pit with chairs in a clearing. It overlooks the woods and brush and has a great sunset. We set up tent close to fire area and had views of the night sky from our bed :) Communication was very kind and prompt and thorough. I camped with my 7 year old daughter and we had a blast. Would highly recommend. Great value :) Thanks 🙏🏽

A quiet spot through white pines with a lovely fire-pit and a westward view. Easy to drive up to camp and though not too far from the house and barn the site felt private and cozy. We even heard coyotes or coydogs in the distance and felt we were truly deep in nature. The moon lit the meadow beyond the campsite and looked lovely. Katherine gave great, precise directions and left wood for us all set to light. Easy to communicate and a thoughtful host. Thank you!

Bike Camping Empire State Trail

Pine Grove is not that far from the Empire State Trail (NY State bike route). This was the perfect place for me an my partner to setup camp on our multi-day bike camp trip. Many of the traditional campsites in the area were closed for the season or too far off from our bike route so this was a great option for us. The host's directions were clear and we easily found the place by bike (even at night with our lamps). The site had 2 chairs, tiki lamps, a fire pit and we opted to pay the extra for kindling and fire wood, making it very convenient for us. The site is quiet and the scenery is very peaceful in the morning. Its also very close to Schuylerville, NY and main part of town with shops and restaurants as well as sites to explore like the Saratoga National Historical State Park and hiking trails.

Nice little spot for my campervan and pups. While semi-close to the house, it still felt very private. The host was very responsive and helpful! Good service at this spot. It was a short stay but we had a fire as the sunset that we really enjoyed!

Beautiful location with a nice sunset view. Katherine and her husband were very nice and communicative, they even provided me newspapers and firesticks to help starting the fire after an unexpected rain event. I completely recommend it if you're looking for a quiet camping spot for a night or two.

We loved our stay at Pine Grove! The provided instructions and GPS coordinates led us right to the property's entrance without any issues. It is a well-maintained grass driveway back to the campsite with room to turn around once you are at the site. We visited in a 20-foot campervan and had no issues maneuvering around. There was a provided firepit with wood, kindling, and a fire starter waiting for us. Where the campsite is positioned on the property offers total privacy thanks to the grove of pines. It was so peaceful and relaxing during our stay. Plus, we were only 30 minutes from Saratoga Springs! Next time we are in the area, we'll be visiting again.

The land is beautiful and Katherine was great in communicating! We needed a last minute place to park the car and stay and it worked out so well. Wish we could have stayed longer because the fire pit is awesome! Definitely recommend and will be back in the future.
