First settled in the early 1800s by Joseph McCracken as payment for his service in the revolutionary war, the original farm encompassed over 100 acres. It has exchanged many hands and is now where we call home, a quiet little farm on top of a hill on a dead-end road.
Today, we raise Katahdin sheep, use horses to work the land, eat fresh eggs, grow our own vegetables, and raise our own meats. This is what we would like to share with you. Kids can get in on the action and help with chores, brush the horses, learn to garden and so much more. We are welcome to answer any questions you may have.

Sarah and Jason were excellent hosts. My 4&7 yo enjoyed collecting chicken and duck eggs, exploring, and helping groom the horses. The view from the spot behind the barn was excellent. It was in a double grade, which made sleeping uncomfortable and the rooster crowed all night. I think there were other spot options, but Jason and Sarah were at the farmers market when we arrived and this was the only clear spot to set up in. We would’ve preferred to be in or closer the woods, which may be an option. We ultimately left after 1 night because of the torrential downpours for the day.
