Amazing location with panoramic views of the Vermont Green Mountain range, this property adjoins a public 9 hole golf course. Located on over 260 private and secluded acres, property also has a 2 acre pond for swimming, paddling or just relaxing. There are several miles of maintained hiking trails meandering throughout the forest, ranging from an easy walk, to hilly and somewhat challenging. Many varieties of tent locations or places to park an RV, pop up, or car. This is considered a "Primitive camp site". There is no shower, toilet or electric available at this time, but well water can be had from our residence, via a hose spigot on the side of our home. This is our 3rd year of hosting, and due to the overwhelming popularity of having an abundance of privacy, we will continue to be only hosting one party at a time. Which means you'll get the privilege of not having to share your surroundings with anyone else! Your own private camp ground! We are hoping this all works out and intend to continuously improve amenities, activities and overall experience. We are hoping to provide an exceptional value and experience that will bring back repeat campers, that we can trust and build a rapport. We are looking forward to meeting you! There will be a picnic table, two Adirondack chairs, and a firepit on site, for your convenience. Firewood will be available on site as well, for additional fee. Please note, regarding directions to the site: Some maps, directions show our address as the town of Whitehall NY. This is also correct, as we are apparently on the border of the two towns and depending on the map, it can come up as Hampton, or Whitehall. Evan’s place was awesome! He was super nice and accommodating. The best part has to be the view. The camp spot is in a nice grass clearing, right above a beautiful field of wild flowers. The view of the mountains is amazing, and the stars even better at night! Dark sky area for sure. His friendly dog Reggie also came and checked on us a time or two and our older lab loved running around with him. I will say it can be a bit windy (You’re in the mountains), but not a deal breaker at all, just be prepared. 10/10 recommend if your looking for peace and quiet with too notch views!

Evans land is one of a kind. Peacful, tranquil, solitude, off the beaten path yet less than 7 mins to a grocery store if needed (Shaws in Poultney). The property is very well taken care of with a huge flat area(that the dogs ran over every square inch of) for you to claim your spot! Evan messaged us to see if we needed anything and how our stay was going. The table, chairs, and insanely heavy duty fire ring were perfect creature comforts at the end of each day. The trails are well marked and made for a great day hike. The pond is cleaner than most people's pools I know and they offered many floaty things to use at your convenience. Poultney (the small town down the road) also offers shopping and great food. The visit was a dream and we will 100% be booking here again in the future, stop scrolling and book this site, you won't regret it. PS. We had 4 bars of Verizon cell service at camp

What a beautiful space and view! We fortunately had perfect weather and my pups loved running around and exploring (and paddleboarding!). The hosts were so very kind and accommodating when I had forgotten to bring a canopy for shade.

The name says it all! Stunning views of the Green Mountains, we loved just relaxing and taking in the views. We pulled our travel trailer where we liked and there was no need to level it. It was all nice and flat. It was such a pleasure to let our dogs run and explore the trails and ponds. We didn’t partake in using the kayaks or paddleboat, but the hammock in the shade was my favorite spot. There is also a huge fire pit, and with the mountains and nighttime sky as a backdrop along with insects chirping, it was so peaceful. The charming town of Poultney is 5 minutes away and seems to have all the amenities. The hosts, Evan and Colleen, are very welcoming, accommodating and provided great communication from the moment we booked. Thank you for sharing this oasis.

We stayed here with a group of 4 adults, 4 kids and 2 dogs. We had tents as well as a camper. A wonderful time was had by all! So spacious, super private, incredible views - not to mention private use of their pond, water toys and ample hiking trails. Seriously can’t say enough good things! We brought lawn games, a disc golf net, the kids flew kites and enjoyed playing on the hammock. Thanks so much for letting us enjoy this slice of heaven!!!

We went over July 4th and were treated to a spectacular fireworks show put on by the neighboring golf course. The site is in a perfect location with the most stunning views of the mountains! Would highly recommend a visit!

Evan’s land was nothing short of spectacular!! The view of the mountains was pure bliss!! He had the most amazing fire pit we have ever seen and plenty of wood to burn. There was some nice Adirondack chairs and picnic table too. Then a beautiful peaceful pond with a few kayaks, a paddle board and a two seater paddle boat for us to enjoy. We 100 percent will love to go back and take in all the beauty around us. First night there was 3 deers on the hill near the pond ♥️ Also wild turkeys walking around. Thank you Evan & Family!!

We loved this spot! It had amazing views and we walked around the property some and enjoyed seeing the lake. It was a bit cold this time of year but made a fire and the most of it! My daughter loved meeting Gypsy the cat. The RV was very level and no issues getting here. Thanks again!

Very peaceful and relaxing site at the top of the hill with great views overlooking the valley. The host was responsive to all questions and was very friendly. We stayed in mid april so the nights were a bit chilly but we did make use of the huge fire pit for cooking and warmth. The grounds are a naturally undulating hill so make sure to have a few level blocks handy! I expect on clear nights the stars are great, although for us it was snowing haha! Definitely a great location for a quiet getaway.

The view from here was fantastic. Camping in such a wonderful place made me relax. The owner is so very kind You gave us so much care And warm tea on a cold day was really great. Definitely I will go back again

What a beautiful property! The view was wonderful! It was easy to find a pretty flat spot, leveled out in no time. We LOVE hip camps where you have the whole place to yourself. Peaceful and private. Weather was chilly when we stayed but the pond would be refreshing in the summer I'm sure. Evan was quick to respond to questions.

Evan’s property is beautifully situated and well kept. My three dogs enjoyed romping around in the grassy fields and loved the trails. We even saw a porcupine in the woods! The views of the mountains are so beautiful and it was truly such a relaxing weekend. We would love to return in the summer when we can really utilize the pond!

We are so grateful for the opportunity to stay on Evan’s land. The views are unbelievable. We enjoyed a swim and boat in the pond in the back and walked a few of the short trails. Honestly this experience was one we will remember forever. Definitely book it!
