Scenic, Simplistic & Serene - each boast its own unique features. Each site is well equipped with 5 inch memory foam bed under a heavy duty canvas tent on a raised platform. Picnic table, fire-pit, loo, trash can and much more available.

Our "Serene" campsite is our most secluded campsite on our 33 acres in Hartwick, NY. Minutes from Cooperstown - Baseball Hall of Fame and so much more - additionally we are close to Otsego and Canadarago Lakes. Great for fall foliage trips too. 1.5 hours from Albany, Binghamton and Syracuse. StrawberryHillCamps.com Description (site overview) Strawberry Hill is a great getaway for residents of Albany, Binghamton and Syracuse (all 1.5 hours from the site) as well as college students studying at Colgate, Hartwick, Hamilton and SUNY Oneonta (all less than one hour drive). We're also the perfect camping destination for those visiting Cooperstown, New York; our 33-acre property is a short drive to the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Cooperstown Dreams Park and restaurants in the town of Cooperstown are also nearby. In the morning, you can stop by the family-owned Stagecoach Coffee (9.4 miles) for your java fix and pick up sandwiches to go. Otsego Lake and Canadrango Lakes are popular excursions with kayak and SUP rentals available. Other local attractions include the Fenimore Art Museum and several popular breweries including the Red Shed Brewery and Brewery Ommegang. There are two popular hiking trails within 1/2 hour of Strawberry Hill: The 3.6 Mile Clark Tower Trail and the 2.4 Sleeping Lion Trail in Glimmerglass State Park which offers views of Lake Otsego. (Clark Tower Trail also open to mountain bikers). In the fall, Strawberry Hill and the surrounding area is a beautiful leaf-peeping destination. Named Strawberry Hill by my youngest daughter who loves to pick the wild strawberries that grow all over the hill, our peaceful property offers three woodland campsites and campers are welcome to walk the property during their stay. Photos depict views around the site and the property. Strawberry Hill Campsites each accommodate up to 6 campers with 2 on the Queen bed in the 10' x 12' Safari platform tent and up to 4 additional campers in the included pop-up tent. For parents with toddlers or young children, the spacious canvas tent can fit a pack-n-play or even a twin air mattress next to the Queen bed. The Queen bed is outfitted with a 5" memory foam mattress; if you plan to use the pop-up tent, please bring sleeping bags and consider mats or air mattresses for comfort. The campsite also has a picnic table with a prep station, two Adirondack chairs, and a fire pit with grill top. A portable Loo (camping potty) is also provided. Bedding and grill tools are available as a paid extra. The open-air views are about a 50 ft walk from your campsite. Between the three sites, we can accommodate up to 18 campers. Please Note: If you're traveling in a vehicle that does not have 4WD/AWD, you will need park near the main house and we will shuttle you and your belongings to the site upon request.

"Simplistic" describes the ease of getting to this location - making it the easiest of our campsites to drive up to. All our campsites are peaceful and located on 33 acres in Hartwick, NY. Laura was an A+ host. Everything was set up exactly as the listing described. The site was clean and ready for our arrival. The site was great. It was nice and secluded and had a lot of privacy. Laura was also very responsive to messages and definitely went out of her way to make sure my wife and I's stay was perfect. Couldn't recommend enough. Thanks for helping to make our 1st wedding anniversary one to remember!

Strawberry Hill Camps - Scenic
My family and I loved the campsite! We spent 2 nights and really had a hard time leaving. My kids made s’mores on the fire, played catch in the large field and I sipped coffee during the sunrise, view was beautiful. The host was very friendly and answered all my questions promptly. A nice welcome kit was in our room upon arrival which included first-aid kit, water, fire starters and hand sanitizer, brochures and air fresheners. We are happy and plan to return in the future.
