Romantic and peaceful

My boyfriend and I had an amazing time at Stergelandia. We stayed in the Gumdrop cabin which was decorated beautifully and peacefully with colorful tapestries and pillows. Despite it being chilly out we were able to sleep comfortably with extra blankets and some hand warmers. It rained one morning and watching/hearing it fall on the plexiglass wall was amazingly beautiful. We enjoyed the observation deck and took a short hike. We made a cozy fire and used the cooking gear provided to make a nice dinner. We cannot wait for our film to be developed as every part of this trip was stunning. We will definitely be back, Jennifer was a great host and has made a beautiful nature oasis on her land.

Thoughtfully Charming Land

Jennifer has created such a peacefully spacious getaway! Casa Abuela was just as pictured, and I was pretty excited to have some rain so I could open it up and cook cozily underneath the clear plexiglass. So many amenities, and plenty of firewood as mentioned. I ventured around the property, met some small friends who live around the ponds and in the meditation garden, and spent my time packing up imagining my next stay here. I’m sure I’ll be back soon! 🌟

It was so peaceful! The grounds are beautiful and the A Frames are adorable. Jennifer thinks of everything. She gives you all the details so you are prepared , she is responsive and thoughtful. There were plenty of supplies and the accommodations were perfect for a simple, natural camping experience.

What a great little place, me and Harley spent the night. The property was really nice to walk around and the communal area had everything . Easy to find, Jenn stopped by to see if we needed anything and the was a fresh pie in the kitchen. Great place I’ll be back . Thanks Jenn

I absolutely loved my stay at Casa Abuela! The A frame was beautifully decorated—so cozy and full of charm. One of my favorite features was the fold-out side wall that turns into a little porch—such a thoughtful touch. My dog had the best time lounging around the campsite and exploring the property. The observation deck was perfect for stargazing, peaceful and quiet with amazing views of the night sky. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a unique and relaxing getaway!

Great place :)

For me it was such a beautiful trip from Canada to USA and connected nature . I was alone there for first nigh and I think about bear because Jenifer mention to me they come there sometimes visit :) Jenifer bring delilicious goodies and beautiful cute jars with dry herbs from mennonite neighbours. I met Jenifer and I feel very good energy from her. I love design of this cabins and all decoration inside. It was so peaceful and beautiful experience for me exacli what I need. I will be back there with my girlfriend and whit my sons when I can. Is great place to come alone but also with groupe of friends. I very much recommend this beautiful, peaceful place.

My stay with my bestest buddy, Diesel (my Rotti), was absolutely wonderful. Gumdrop was like a dream.. I hope to enjoy it again in the fall. We didn't explore the property, but the little we did see was so unique and cute. Jennifer left us a fresh baked pie from the area, and anything I could have possibly needed was provided. It was was a wonderful experience and I hope to do it again.

Jennifer's space is amazing!! I had such a peaceful night sitting by the fire and watching the stars from the observation deck. The property is well maintained and the cabin was perfectly cozy for myself and my dog. I felt completely safe as a solo female traveler. I would definitely return!

A lovely place for a reseat

The A frames at Sterglandia are comfortable and so serene! The land is beautiful and there are all sorts of birds and other wildlife to watch. The woods are fantastic for quiet contemplative walks and the meditation garden and chapel are lovely places for a necessary respite from the rest of the world.

Amazing! Just book it!

My sister and I are avid campers and decided to give Stergelandia a try because it looked super cute. When we got there, our minds were blown at how adorable it actually is! We loved not having to pack a tent and realistically didn’t need to bring blankets, etc either because it was provided. Jen was in contact at all times making sure our stay was amazing and even came out to give us a tour herself. We stayed in Fri and it was within walking distance to the observation deck which was an added bonus. If you’re thinking about a weekend getaway, this is the place. Just book it!

Absolutely magical & peaceful property. Jennifer was a fantastic host, the property was exactly as described. Gave us a great chance to unplug and recharge. We most enjoyed the stunning views - especially the morning & evening sky. The rocking chairs & lounges under the observation deck were a great place to relax. We had fun exploring the trails on property. We also headed to Letchworth state park for some hiking & a swim. Our dinner cooked over the open fire was delish. We will definitely be back. The Gumdrop A-Frame was a perfect match to our style & made me smile each time we walked in & woke up there. Thanks again for sharing your slice of paradise Jennifer!!

beautiful space

Jennifer has created a beautiful space. I came up here from VA to explore an area I’ve never been to and also to take some solo time to myself. Got to see letchworth and Watkins glen state parks. I also journaled, created, and read. The land/camp/trip in general left me feeling inspired. The other two camps on the property were empty during my stay and I really did have the feeling of being TRULY alone which I typically haven’t experienced when solo traveling as I usually stay at camp grounds with other people close by. However I still felt safe and comfortable. Lots of water available, as well as other items to use that you may need for your stay. Definitely be mindful of the bugs especially if your here peak summer like I was (you feel very much in the woods) but if you are someone who spends a lot of time outdoors then it shouldn’t be surprising for you. I did not have cell service (Verizon) but once I got back into the town of Angelica (less than a 10 min drive from camp) - I had good coverage. If I find myself in the area again one day ~ I would definitely stay again.

Jennifer was the perfect host for our first ever Hipcamp. Her property is beautiful and the work she is doing there was a joy to experience. She was able to accommodate a few last minute requests and was very responsive to any chat requests within just a few hours. She even provided some extra equipment in case you forgot some big spray, utensils or any other basic stuff. I would highly recommend checking Stergelandia out as soon as you can! We were treated to a beautiful view of a thunder storm rolling in from the distance at the top of the observation deck and watched as the fog rolled in.

We had a much needed girls trip for 3 days & it was everything we needed. The host Jennifer was amazing & provided us with everything we needed to make it perfect! The place was clean & so well taken care of & we felt so safe. Would definitely recommend & we can’t wait to come back in the Fall.

Jennifer's property was perfect for my first ever solo camping trip. Arriving to a site with firewood ready to go was a plus. I've never seen so many lightning bugs! We experienced a heat wave during my stay and Jennifer insisted I drank as much of the bottled water they provided as I needed. I can't wait to book here again in the future

Stergelandia was a wonderful place to stay. My boyfriend and I enjoyed the property and the a-frame immensely. The beautiful night sky and the experience of the solar eclipse here in this beautiful land was awesome. We loved the simplicity of everything and just taking a walk through the lands. We want to come back for sure and highly recommend it.

Not just camping, but an adventure!

Calm-fields, hills, sky!

My stay at Stergelandia was fantastic. Jennifer made my stay so comfortable. I was greeted with snacks by the campfire. She gave a tour of the campsite and land. The views of the land are simply breathtaking, wether you want to take in a sunset, or a sunrise, you won't be disappointed. There is a double deck, where you can capture beautiful photos on the top deck, or relax, read, catch a nap, or soak in the silence of nature on the lower deck. Jennifer hosts farm to table dinner and breakfast using local ingredients and herbs from her beautiful herb garden. The campsite is very eco friendly, pet friendly, and couples can even have their wedding here. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Camping near Letchworth State Park

I loved the location and hospitality of the host Jennifer. She had an evening planned and had made a locally sourced breakfast for all the renters. she was also accommodating and moved us to a bigger A structure the second day.

The great outdoors!

I loved the land, the frog ponds, the herbs to pick, the tent options. Most of all the time the hostess spent to make sure our trip was phenomenal; and it was amazing. I would highly recommend the trip, the land and the amenities and of course, the hostess!

Sacred Space

I’ve been a short term rental host for a decade and am well travelled. I have to say, Jennifer- hands down - is the best host I have ever had the pleasure of staying with. She has done a superior job of creating a truly sacred space for her guests. We felt honored to be able to experience her well thought out A-frame, star gazing deck, wooded paths, frog pond, locally sourced and freshly prepared breakfast at her cafe. She has poured so much intention and Love into her guests’ experience. I was literally brought to tears by her exceeding kindness. My partner and I have fallen in love with Jennifer’s Land and will absolutely return when able. You’ve got to stay here. It’s also only 20 or so minutes from Letchworth State Park- an absolute treasure… if you’re into waterfalls and breathtaking views. Stay with Jennifer. It’s a whole vibe.

First Time Camping with Kids/Dog

Calm-fields, hills, sky!

As a female traveling with kids, I don't have to worry about my safety camping at Stergelandia. This place makes me feel like stepping into a magical fairy land, especially at night time surrounded by fireflies. The kids and I stayed in the Calm fields, hills sky tent which is tucked further away toward the wood area, but still a short walk from the main entrance. There were plenty of places to look around and relax on the hammocks or benches. The frogs pond was awesome with lots of frogs and the little vegetables/herbs garden add a nice touch to the place. Also, there's a meditation place, which I did not have a chance to use. Overall, I think this is a great getaway from the craziness and exactly what I need, restorative. I can't thank you enough to the wonderful host, Jennifer. She was very accommodating and the most understanding host more than anyone could ever ask for. She provided everything that we need plus lots of extras. She even suggested a swim area and took us to the river for some swimming as well. The kids and hava great time, and one of them didn't want to leave (lol). Thank you, Jennifer!
