My girlfriend and I went here for Valentines Day. We went to letchworth state park before hand and saw the waterfalls and walked around the available paths that weren’t closed off in the winter. The site is about 20 minutes away. The driveway was easy to find and plenty of space to park and unpack. Jalin left us a wagon to put our stuff in and walk the plowed path to the tent. The tent is very secluded and private and quite cozy inside. It’s very clean and tidy inside. The chocolate chip cookies he left were delicious. The bed was quite comfortable and we stayed warm from the wood stove and the blankets provided even though it was below frozen outside the tent. We were very happy with our stay and would recommend to anyone visiting in the letchworth area.

Camping here was great! The tent was cozy, and warm even in the middle of winter with its wood stove, in a private section near short trails in the woods on the property, and was a welcoming stay.

This was a really fun stay in a well-equipped tent. The bed was super comfortable with pillows and extra linens provided. The dresser had some cooking utensils and the hosts even provided pour over coffee and cookies! The wood stove helped keep the cold away (in the teens at night) and they even got it going before we arrived and dropped off 5 gallons of water. Having solar power and lights was really great. Probably the nicest outhouse I've ever been in. Jalin was really nice and very accommodating having plowed the snow on the trail back to the tent (about 150 yards). We snowshoed on the trails and took our dogs out in the snow. They loved and so did we!

It was gorgeous and felt so private! Everything was so comfortable and clean. The little details were so cute. We absolutely enjoyed it and our dogs were able to run around the whole time which is what we always look for!

Beautiful property and so convenient to not have to put up my own tent. The tent is wonderful equipped with a wood burning stove. I camped on a reeeealllly cold & windy night so it was nice to have my Mr. Buddy heater to supplement in the middle of the night when I didn’t feel like tending to the fire. I didn’t have time to explore the other paths and I’m so bummed because it looked like an amazing place to frolick! If you are a star gazer, this is your place! The hosts were so amazing and very accommodating. I appreciated the fire!

The site is tucked back in hidden from everything but a field. The tent is great and the wood stove worked wonderfully once we remembered how vents work. The bed was quite comfortable but pick your side wisely if you are over 6 ft.
The outhouse seems brand new and the short trails around the property are a nice morning walk.
We were comfortably warm in the 30s, except for when I let the fire go out. Will definitely be stopping by again when it warms back up.

This spot is a hidden gem — peaceful, private, and beautifully maintained. The site has small walking trails that are great for a quiet morning stroll or an evening walk to unwind. Everything feels thoughtfully designed, from the setup of the site to the little touches that make your stay comfortable and relaxing.
It’s also conveniently located — only about 10 minutes from town, with easy access to gas stations, Walmart, and McDonald’s if you need to grab anything. You get the best of both worlds here: the calm and privacy of nature with the convenience of nearby amenities.
We had a wonderful stay and left feeling refreshed. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax, recharge, and enjoy a bit of nature without being too far from town!

Had an excellent time, host was beyond accommodating and non-intrusive, place was exactly as described, beautiful views and trails, whole family enjoyed the secludedness of the site, and owner also provided a fruit basket which was delightful instead of baked goods(at request). All in all, a fabulous time, highly recommend!

Amazing place to camp, watching the sunset over the rolling hills was beautiful. The site is amazing and we really enjoyed our time there. Can’t wait for the next visit.

We would call this place as the paradise ! What an amazing, nature, picturesque place! We love mountains, and if you missed mountains, this place gives you that opportunity. First, we want to thank a lot for the delicious cookies, and care! The secondly, we are grateful for that care! We booked a week ago, and the owner family provide us their heating, so we stay warm. The third, this place is close to Letchworth state park, and to local supermarkets like Walmart and Tops. The camp house made with love, hospitality, care, everything created with usefulness. Clean camp, even toilet is super clean! You have a shower, picnic table , cozy big bed and sofa, even own little hiking trail! Peaceful place, definitely highly recommend, come with your friends or family! The camp house has everything what u need ! You can charge your phone, if you want a quick coffee , they have a teapot works by solar panels. We enjoyed a lot and happy! Thank you so much! We definitely inshallah, come back ! Only positive moments! Thank you a lot !

It was a very clean sight with a pretty view. The trails in their land were nice and well maintained. They had homemade cookies and cold drinks waiting for us upon arrival. They were very responsive.

My family and I loved our time at Overgrown Ridge! The property was lovely and the camp was comfortable and convenient. You can tell the owners really thought about how to provide a rustic experience with creature comforts (the bed was sooo comfortable!). Jalin was super responsive whenever we had a question, and and we appreciated all the personal touches. My kids especially enjoyed the delicious cookies! We would definitely recommend!

My dog and I had a wonderful time at this camp! Everything was very clean and well maintained. The communication and directions were clear and easy to follow. It feels very secluded even though it’s just a short walk from the parking area. Super close to Letchworth State Park and some really cute towns.
There is some road noise but not much and I didn’t really notice it after the first night. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The private trails and setting were like a fairytale and really awesome. Everything was easy to figure out and the hosts communicated well, whether through the app or on paper. So serene and a wonderful place to unwind. The night I stayed, it was quite cold. Fortunately, they were forward thinking and kind enough to leave an extra blanket on the couch just in case. Very relaxing and highly recommended!

To celebrate our third year of dating, my fiancé and I planned a weekend getaway to Overgrown Ridge. We were made to feel really welcome as soon as we pulled into the driveway, I would highly recommend a visit here. When we got to the campsite, which is quiet and private with a lovely view, there were also muffins left for us in the tent. Up until the final day, when it rained a lot, the weather was lovely. We had a great little vacation because the tent was comfortable and stayed dry. Don't forget to stop by John and Sarah's Diner I would recommend the Banana French toast (everyone was so kind) and Letchworth State Park.

Lovely setup. Hamlin was super responsive. It was a pretty hot day, but he offered to put in an AC that day and mentioned adding a canopy.

The hosts were so thoughtful - leaving signs for where to park; lights on the park the camp were VERY helpful in the dark; cookies 🩷; the shower & outhouse & yurt are lovely; as are the paths & invitation to explore. We loved having easy access to a power strip. Taking all that into account : We felt it was quite a bit too expensive. There’s a complete lack of shade on the site - the 100% exposure to the July sun & heat prevented us from enjoying the site during the day & early evening. (10am-7pm)

Very beautiful site and kind hosts. They even brought cookies when we arrived. Not much shaded area though so I would recommend an umbrella for shade.
