The day we stayed was freezing, but the cabin was very warm, and the water ran smoothly. The shower had great water pressure. From the cabin's main window, there were no houses or other buildings visible, but there is another HipCamp or Airbnb about 120 feet away. Cabin was small, but more than enough for 2 ppl at least for us.
The cabin felt more like it was in someone’s backyard, so it’s not super private, but the distance from other houses was acceptable. Note that check-in is at 5 PM, which is already dark during the winter, leaving no opportunity to enjoy the sunset—something I love to spend by the fire. Plan carefully to make the most of your stay.
Important Tip: DO NOT rely on the Apple Maps or Google Maps links in the HipCamp app. It as an error and they lead to a wrong location about 7 minutes away. Instead, I recommend entering the address manually.
