Nestled in the heart of nature, in the south central Adirondack town of Johnsburg, this tranquil retreat offers a perfect blend of comfort & adventure for your getaway. Minutes from Gore Mountain Ski Area & North Creek, with Crane Mountain & Garnet Lake just around the corner. Nearby access to hundreds of trails, lakes and rivers make this the perfect place to begin your Adirondack Experience.
The large farmhouse and home boasts five cozy bedrooms, providing ample space to comfortably sleep up to 14 guests. This is not just a rental home . This place has been in our family for 3 generations and we use it often. So it feels like a home. We are constantly improving the amenities and making it more comfortable.
We are just 10 minutes from Gore Mountain Ski Area and their Nordic center and 25 minutes from Garnet Hill Cross Country Ski Center, this is the perfect place to base your winter vacation. Our own property offers plenty of fields and woods to explore on skis or snowshoes as well.
After your days of adventuring unwind in the large inviting living area, complete with woodstove, a sleeper sofa, a big flat-screen TV, with many viewing options, and large windows offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, fields and forests.
