This space was amazing! Ted was so attentive and communicative - gave us an extremely warm welcome.
The cabin itself was perfect, couldn’t ask for more. The space heater kept us warm, the bed was comfy, the shower had warm water and the view was beautiful.
We will be returning!

Ted’s set up is the nicest place we have ever camped!! The hot shower and dish washing station was more than amazing. He provides everything you need to cook a meal & sit down to enjoy it. Ted was super nice & accommodating, checking in on us to see if we needed anything. If I ever find myself in NY again, I will 100% stay here again!

Ted is an exceptional host with a lovely property that provides everything you could ever need for a lovely weekend camping. Show up with as little as a tent and some sleeping bags and Ted has you covered on the rest. This campsite has some of the best amenities I’ve ever experienced. From the hot shower to the stove, gazebo, and fire pit, Ted has got you covered.
The campsite is also in a beautiful woods with a lovely brook nearby and great walking paths for you to get your day started with. I couldn’t recommend a campsite more than this. We will most certainly be returning.

This was the perfect place to camp for a few days for my hiking trip! The amenities (outhouse, hot shower, firewood, pots and utensils, etc) made the stay so easy and enjoyable. Thank you guys for your hospitality, I couldn't have asked for a better campsite:)

The tent site on Ted’s land was perfect ! He is great host and takes care of his sites. Close driving to tons of good trails and hikes . If you have any questions he is quick to answer and very helpful. Highly recommend if you are staying in the high peaks area.

Camping at brookside campsite was fantastic. There was a kitchen with camp stove and fuel and the basics you need for any cooking, so you don’t even have to pack up your kitchen kit unless you’re trying to do something fancy. Nice outhouse and shower with hot water. The stream was really nice and peaceful and I would have liked to play around in it a little if the weather had been warmer. Good proximity to tons of hiking (about 40 minute drive to Adirondack loj) and the property is big enough to wander around yourself.
The hosts were also fantastic. Ted gave a some great food and activity recommendations and was overall enjoyable to talk with when I got there.
Would definitely consider camping here again next time I’m in the high peaks region.

Ted and Sue have an incredible cabin with everything you need. Amazing hospitality, made us feel right at home and appreciate the recommendations to everything near by and in town. The cabin was so intentionally put together, and our favorite memory was watching the famous Adirondack night skyline with star with a campfire. Thank you Ted and Sue, we will be back soon!

Space was well developed with hot shower, solar lights, a small covered area with table and gas grill. The grounds were immaculate, you can tell a lot of care has gone into lining the pathway with rocks, wood chips, and other decorations. The stream is close by, and you can even wade into it in several sections to cool off on a hot day. Fire pit was well taken care of and stocked with firewood and kindling. Hosts were a perfect balance of friendly, accessible, and gave us plenty of space to do our own thing. Location is close enough to so many hiking, kayaking, and other outdoor activities. Would recommend this place to anyone looking to get away for a bit.

What a great place! Ted greeted me warmly with his doggie Boulder. He showed me around, told the story behind the property. He built everything so beautiful and comfortable, you feel loved when you get there. There is a small kitchen in the corner, string lights under the roof, fresh flowers on the table, a gallon of water and a fire is ready to be lit. I felt safe and really enjoyed my time at the campsite, I walked along the river, watched the burning flames and slept peacefully.

This was an awesome experience! Not only is the camp site and cabin more than you'd ever expect, but the hospitality and kindness is irreplaceable! Ted was so welcoming and great to us. Told us about all the cool attractions while providing a phenomenally well kept site to roam and pitch a tent or stay in the cabin! We originally reserved the campsite which was donned with cookware, and outhouse and a shower station. Upon arrival, we were offered to stay in the cabin. Which we chose because it WAS amazing. The stay was accommodating because we could cook and explore all in one place, with a grill at the cabin and a camping stove at the campsite. Firepits with wood, ready for enjoyment. Clean towels and washcloths! The bed at the cabin was so comfortable and wr slept like babies! Thank God we didn't have to rush ourselves and left it as we got it, we hope! And amazing experience, we will definitely be back!

Ted and Sue’s tent site is not only equipped with every camping detail, it is entirely warm and pleasant and charming. They skillfully built it themselves, clearly with the users’ ease and enjoyment in mind. It feels luxurious! Nicely located…the Adirondacks, high peaks, Lake Placid, Lake Champlain and so much more are all a few minute's drive. Trust the five-star rating and just book this!

Another fantastic stay at the Brookview Cabin! Truly the perfect place to stay to explore the Adirondacks. We hiked and swam every day — and the new propane shower was so nice! Can’t wait for our next visit.

This cabin is a gem which we thoroughly enjoyed. Ted greeted us upon our arrival and showed us to our cabin and gave us a tour of its features. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again should we return to the area.

It was a real treat to stay at Ted’s campsite! Right off of Route 9, the location is easy to access, yet private and peacefully secluded. Not too far of a drive from the High Peaks region, it was a perfect resting place for me between hikes for the weekend. Ted was a wonderful host. He took the time to greet me upon arrival and was quick to respond to any questions/requests. A local to the area he is a wealth of information if you are looking for pointers on things to do/see. Would love to stay another time!

By far one of the best Hipcamp sites we have ever stayed at. Ted and Sue have done an amazing job, building and setting up this wonderful site. We were welcomed with a lovely flower arrangement and plenty of firewood. The cooking area was great and so well thought out and it was great not to have everything wet from condensation each morning. Outhouse and dishwashing area were clean and the mulch paths through out the site ensured nice dry feet in the morning. It was lovely to chat with both Ted and Sue and they were both so welcoming. We took their advice and visited some of their suggested locations as it was our first visit to this area. We enjoyed sitting by the fire in the evening and listening to the brook. Would highly recommend this spot if you are in the area.

We had a nice stay at Brookside. The site was well kept, neat and clean. Had a cute cabin style hut to cook food and eat at the picnic table. Firepit with plenty of firewood supplied. Had everthing we needed for a comfortable stay. The brook was really peaceful. Outhouse was super clean. There was a cool outside bathroom set up with a water bucket to wash hands or dishes and a hose to rise off (cold water, but it was fine). Ted and his wife were so nice and welcoming. The spot was located just off the main rd and close to a lot of area activities!

Brookview Cabin was a lovely place to sleep in NY. The cabin in itself is superb, with all the appliances needed for a fun getaway. We had a good night and were close enough from the Adirondacks to go and park early for a great day hike. The cabin is easy to access.
The host was kind and resourceful.

Upon our arrival, Ted and his wife warmly welcomed us to their property. Gave us a tour of the place. recommended some great places to check. They’re so nice and we felt comfortable with our stay. They did an amazing work with the place. It was very well maintained and was so clean. Everything was already set up when we arrived. All in all we had a great time a great experience. So I highly recommend this place.

Fantastic little cabin located in a great area of the Adirondacks - only 20 minutes to Giant Mountain / the AMR, and 35 minutes from Lake Placid. The hosts were super friendly and helpful, the cabin was tidy, and we loved the outdoor heated shower + USB charging hub (powered by a rooftop solar panel).
