We loved staying here! Communication was superb. The directions were excellent and James met us as we arrived. The property is well appointed, extremely clean, well maintained and labeled, and has fabulous views! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

I loved staying here. Access was easy, nice circle drive. Everything was well labeled. My mare enjoyed stretching her legs in the big pen and it was nice having full hookups!

Great location for an overnight traveling I-40. Very quiet. We have a 23 ft class C and if you park facing the hookups no leveling required. We don’t have a horse but the facilities for them seemed excellent.

Victoria‘s campsite was very neat clean well organized. Also it was easy to get into easy to do hook ups, and it was just so nice and quiet. She has a very large space. It’s really great and if you have horses, it’s the perfect place to go with your horses have a safe secure place to keep them, and know that they will be sheltered and highly recommend her camp. I will definitely go back.

We had the best early October stay ever!! Victoria was so nice and accommodating. The area was clean and perfectly outfitted! Will stay again in the future for sure! Thanks for a great vaca spot!! The annual Balloon Fiesta was amazing too and just a quick drive from the spot!

Sweet Melody Farms is a lovely property, very clean and neat. Victoria is responsive and gives excellent directions and instructions and is very courteous and informative. There are helpful signs all over the property which make the stay very easy and it had all the amenities you could need for an RV stay with horses. I had an excellent stay at Victoria’s property.

Great space, wide open, hook ups worked great, trash and recycling was close by and there’s even a picnic table. Jim was accommodating and personable.
*I would make sure to come in off of exit 187 so you can avoid the longer stretch of dirt road. Theres a much smoother way we discovered the day after we got there that made leaving a lot easier!*

Victoria and her husband are warm, caring, and generous hosts. We always had our privacy, but anytime I wanted to engage in conversation in the driveway, they always obliged with great advice and recommendations. The property is gorgeous with spectacular sunsets. The trip up to Santa Fe on 14 was so beautiful, we went twice round trip. When I needed to stay over our check out time due to work, they not only gladly let us, but ensured we knew it was no bother. When we are back in area, there is no other place we are staying!

Beautiful property not too far off Freeway. Gas stations and a Walmart close by to make restocking anything you might need quick and easy. Very warm, friendly and welcoming owners. We stayed here one night going to our destination and one night returning home. Super quiet place, very clean. Would stay here again if we were in the area.

Victoria is the sweetest host. We were car camping and the weather was not in our favor. So she accommodated us like we were her own kids. Giving us warmer sleeping bags and shelter from the cold and wind. Her farm is so cute and her horses are so welcoming.

Always a great stay! This is our second time here. Spent the weekend for the balloon festival. FHU with 50 Amp service, flat, no leveling needed. Only ones there. Quiet with beautiful views. Victoria is a wonderful host. We even took her out to dinner and had wonderful time. Definitely would recommend and we will always stay here if traveling through Albuquerque.

The property was gorgeous and well maintained. We weren’t able to stay long due to our travel schedule but Victoria was very responsive and friendly. If we ever find ourselves in the area again we will definitely book our stay with her!

Wonderful experience from start to finish. Victoria communicated clearly and made sure we understood directions. We were greeted warmly by Victoria and her husband asked if we needed any help with set up etc. Great to have full hookup. Enjoyed the evening with picturesque views of South Mountain. Highly recommend and will stay again if in the area.

This place was by far our favorite place! It was level and gorgeous views of the mountains. They had 2 horses to welcome us when we arrived, they were so cute 🤩. Everything worked perfectly and it's short distance to Santa fe, Madrid, Pecos etc will definitely be back 🤩

Great place to stop along I-40! Hosts were lovely and their place is beautiful. Horses and 2 sweet cats. Our dog loved watching the animals.

Peaceful respit in Albuquerque

Victoria and her husband were absolutely wonderful hosts! Their farm is beautiful and clean (right? A farm?). Had full hookups and you can back your trailer right next to the hookups. They also host a "horse motel" and an AirBNB. She greeted and helped us park and we chatted for while. We needed to go to REI to purchase a new bike rack and she offered to take our old Thule to a local cycle shop to reuse or to donate it locally for us. Even let us store our bikes in her barn.
We shared our story and our reason for travel, including the recent death of our son and the formation of a foundation in his honor. She inquired about the foundation and took the time to learn about Josh and his life. When we woke up the next morning, we found out that she had donated to our cause, These are the type of amazing people you will be staying with.
We have been in contact with them even after our stay.
WILL definitely stay there again.

Absolutely loved our stay and the view was stunning! The host Victoria, was super helpful and kind. The kids enjoyed the horses and getting to feed them apples. We were passing through, stayed one night, and will def plan on staying again!! We felt very safe and the directions to the location were easy to follow.

We enjoyed our 3 day stay at Sweet Melody. We felt very safe, it was peaceful and having full hookups, a picnic table, and parking for our jeep was so convenient. I would much rather stay here than a KOA. Ingress and Egress were a breeze with no backing up required. The hosts were gracious and kind. Would definitely stay again when in the area.
