Manny's place was very convenient to the Balloon Fiesta field, especially via bicycle on the dedicated paved trails. I flew past sitting traffic at 5 m on my way to the morning festivities, and the (free) bike valet was really convenient and secure! I had a great stay during Balloon Fiesta!

Passing through Albuquerque and just happened to be the last weekend of the balloon festival so not many choices still available. Luckily, Manny’s place was and wow! - perfect and beautiful location. Really appreciated having a private enclosed yard for our pup. She’s not dog friendly and so is always on a leash at campgrounds and we don’t get many opportunities to play ball with her. The balloons were unfortunately grounded Sun morning but we could tell from our view of the fireworks Sat night that we would have had an a great view as the balloons went up. Maybe we’ll be back for the festival some year but this is the place we’ll want to stay regardless of when we’re in town.

This is an amazing property! We loved staying here for the Balloon Fiesta. Minutes away on our bikes, we passed lines of cars, and left our bikes at the Fiesta free bike valet. Crazy convenient! The property is beautiful, extremely well-kept, and in a lovely neighborhood. Very close to the Paseo del Bosque trail, we rode our bikes into Old Town for lunch and museums. Manny is an exemplary communicator, and I appreciated how quickly he answered a few questions we had. Hands down, best host! Thank you, Manny!

Manny was wonderful! The site was easy to get to and close to the balloon festival. There is a gate for safety. The balloons actually came right over and landed close which was amazing. Thanks for a memorable experience!

Great location if you’re attending the Balloon Fiesta- 2mi walk to the park. Not a problem in the morning, of course it’s a bit warmer returning late morning. Appreciate being able to leave my dog as they’re not allowed at the Fiesta, and then make use of the yard once I got back. Manny was very responsive with directions and information. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful site, nice space, nice night lighting. Water & electric easy to access and worked great. Manny is a quick and awsome communicator. Definitely a wonderful Hipcamp, highly recommend.
We enjoyed our stay at this unique location. A nice gated yard which we had to ourselves in a (mostly) quiet neighborhood.
Be sure to visit the nearby petroglyphs national monument - a 1.5 mile walk to play eye spy with rock art. Piedras Marcadas Canyon Trail,

Tight squeeze but we made the best

Ballon Fiesta RV Parking
Fulfilled our immediate needs but was a tight squeeze for 2 30-ft campers side by side. We almost gave up and left. Would highly recommend for a 25-ft or smaller camper. Neat and clean space and close to everything. Very charming space and the host was very friendly and welcoming.

So Peaceful and Clean and Close

Ballon Fiesta RV Parking
What a beautiful spot to rest for the night. Quiet and clean. Hosts gave us the place all to ourselves. Just a note, it is tight getting into and out of this spot. We were 31ft TT and King Cab truck. It was a nail biter to back in and easier to pull out. If you are this size or smaller it is doable. There were two of us - TT travelling together. If it was just one of us, we would have had a much easier time. I definitely think this is a great place to stay.

My first Hipcamp experience

Ballon Fiesta RV Parking
Directions were right on . Instructions were easy to follow. WiFi worked great the first night, second night said too many networks in use.
Felt safe with gated area and allowed dogs to roam when closed. Slept great the first night, after dogs in street or neighbors stopped barking . The second night dogs barked continually until 3 am , this was a Friday night. Unsure where they came from . AirPods helped but still could here as parked next to the road. No real road noises. I had a Tag, so set up roller spot with tent. No shower facilities.

The owners, M&M, set a high bar for our first HipCamp experience. Their site is very private, spacious, tidy, well equipped & nicely done all around. Our dually Sprinter RV fit with no problem though both the gate and inside the level gravel lot. The 30 amp electric hook up was better than a lot of RV parks we’ve seen. The water hose pressure was excellent (35 psi) for hook up. Once we closed the gate, we were able to let our dog roam the yard after a long day on the road since we were the only ones there. The Solo Ranger stove, firewood, picnic table & lawn chairs made for a nice dinner al fresco and relaxing evening alongside a warm fire. The hosts came out to greet us & check if we needed anything. We highly recommend a stay here, and would enjoy the opportunity to return again next time we are traveling through Albuquerque.
This RV space is in a lovely neighborhood and close to the Balloon Fiesta. The yard is gated and has a pretty great view of balloons depending which way the wind takes them. The space has water & electric and there is a dump site near property. Take a walk around the neighborhood! You will love it!

Balloon Fiesta 2025 Camping Trip

Ballon Fiesta RV Parking
Our friends & I had a great time camping in our RVs at this location during the Abq Balloon Fiesta! It’s about 2 miles from the festival park, in a safe/gated location, and centrally located to so many things. The best part was waking up and having coffee and breakfast in our PJs while watching balloons drift literally right over us on one of the mornings we didn’t actually go in to the park. One even landed at the lot right across from us and the balloon crew let us watch it deflate. Such a cool experience. We had water and electricity and plenty of space to enjoy ourselves. Host was helpful and responsive to all our needs. Camping was a unique experience for those 5 nights and a memory we’ll cherish forever.
The place was very well maintained.. required no involvement from the owner. Hookups were easy to find an use and were in great shape. Enjoyed the privacy and nice accommodations.

We loved the privacy of the closing gates, the hook ups were easy, the wifi was great. It was a quiet neighborhood and Manny was super responsive. We found it easier to back in our travel trailer. Will stay again on our next trip west.

Very peaceful, quiet and safe. Manny was a great host.
Beautiful house and space but no privacy. Two spaces for RV in front of the house full of open windows. The yard and grounds were very well kept and even provided doggy bags and soft grass. Our only issue was the water hook up which was confusing. There was one on the house and then we found one behind a huge rose bush so we opted not to use it just because we weren’t sure how it worked. It was great for a last minute late night stop.
