🌲 Welcome to The Hemlock Hideout Treehouse A yurt-style tent treehouse tucked into the woods of Salisbury, New Hampshire. This is a private, off-grid campsite in the trees designed for guests who enjoy camping but appreciate a real bed, provided firewood, and a ready-to-use camp kitchen. Open May–October. 🏕️ The Site The treehouse sits in a quiet wooded area with no neighboring houses in view. Guests have the space to themselves and access to a nearby composting outhouse and gravity-fed camp shower a short walk from the deck. You’ll hear birds, wind in the trees, rain on the roof, and typical forest sounds throughout your stay. Wildlife and insects are part of the environment. Food must be stored securely and bug spray is recommended. 🔌 Off-Grid Setup (No Utilities) There is: No electricity No running water No reliable cell service We provide: Drinking water Water for dishes and handwashing Firewood, kindling, and matches S’mores supplies Flashlights Towels Extra blankets Mini fans (summer) Propane heater (spring/fall) 🛏️ Sleeping & Living Space Queen bed Small table and seating area Large windows and canvas walls Clear plastic roof for natural light and views of the trees 🍳 Camp Kitchen Guests have a simple camp cooking setup: Single-burner butane stove Pot, pan, kettle, French press Coffee, tea, cocoa Utensils, plates, salt & pepper BBQ grill (bring charcoal & lighter fluid) There is no refrigerator. Bring a cooler if needed. Ice is available for purchase at the nearby Crossroads gas station. 🔥 Outdoor Area Private fire pit with seating Balcony in the trees Picnic table Outdoor swing There is a local swimming spot down the road for hot days. 📅 Booking Notes Dates open 90 days in advance. If a date is unavailable, it is already booked. Personal photography is welcome. Commercial shoots require approval.

🌲 Welcome to The Birchwood Hideout! A hand-built, yurt-style canvas tent set on a platform in the woods of Salisbury, New Hampshire. This is a private, off-grid campsite for guests who enjoy camping and want a simple, comfortable setup waiting for them in the forest. Open May–mid October. 🏕️ The Site Birchwood sits in a secluded wooded area with a small deck, fire pit, and picnic table. Guests have the space to themselves, with an outhouse about 15 yards from the tent and a gravity-fed camp shower nearby. Another guest site (our treehouse) is located about 100 yards away down the driveway. Please be mindful of quiet hours and privacy. 🔌 Off-Grid Setup (No Utilities) There is: No electricity No running water No reliable cell service We provide: Drinking water Water for dishes and handwashing Firewood, kindling, and matches S’mores supplies Flashlights Towels Extra blankets Mini fans (summer) Portable heater (spring/fall) 🛏️ Sleeping & Living Space This is a 120 sq ft canvas tent built on a solid platform with rustic birchwood framing and a small deck. Inside: Queen bed with bedding and down comforter Simple seating area Canvas walls and clear plastic roof for natural light 🍳 Camp Kitchen Guests have a ready-to-use camp cooking setup: Single-burner butane stove Basic pots, utensils, plates, salt & pepper Coffee setup, tea, cocoa BBQ grill (bring charcoal) There is no refrigerator. Bring a cooler if needed. Ice is available for purchase at the nearby Crossroads gas station. 🔥 Outdoor Area Private fire pit with seating (firewood provided) Picnic table Small deck Room to spread out and enjoy the woods There is a local swimming spot down the road for hot days. 👨‍👩‍👧 Families The site is best fit for 2 adults and possibly 2 to 3 children depending on how little they are. You must bring your own additional sleeping setup (tent, pad, or cot) for anyone who won't be able to fit on the queen bed. 🐕 Dogs Dogs are welcome with notice. Please clean up after them, bring a dog bed, and keep them off the queen bed. We have a dog at our home on the property, and nearby neighbors have animals as well, so dogs should be well managed while outside.
