Yurt on Mead Hill at Mount Cabot
Cozy stay and stunning views! Road driving up gets less paved but still doable. Walk to yurt from parking is a little workout but worth it. Very much enjoyed our stay and love the maple syrup!

We stayed in the yurt for a weekend and loved it! Bed was comfy and thought the woodstove wasn't working, the space heater kept us cozy. Morgan and Rush were excellent hosts, answered all our questions graciously and made us very welcome. The woodfired hot tub was glorious. Hope we can visit again someday!

Amazing views on this wonderful property. The land was quiet and peaceful and the yurt was very comfortable. Morgan was awesome and gave us some great local recommendations. We would love to stay here again if we are ever in area.

This yurt stay was peaceful, well-appointed, and thoughtfully designed from top to bottom. Everything inside had a clear purpose and was arranged to make settling in feel natural. It’s clear a lot of care went into creating a space that supports rest without distraction.
The scenery surrounding the site was a real highlight—wide, uninterrupted views that made even quiet moments feel expansive. It’s also very secluded, with a strong sense of privacy.
Communication with the host was smooth and prompt, which added to the low-stress feel of the whole trip. One delightful highlight: they make their own maple syrup on the property, and it’s excellent—rich, smooth, and clearly crafted with skill.
If you’re looking for a place to unplug without giving up basic comfort, this is a solid option. Balanced, quiet, and beautifully situated.

Absolutely sweeping views! The yurt has power. Hot water shower outside with a sink behind it. We went in the rain and staying dry was absolutely no problem at all. I cannot get over how beautiful the land is. When I say sweeping views, I mean you can see many, many mountains through the door of the yurt. Morgan was fantastic, friendly, and hospitipal. Highly recommend!

Site is great. Tent is spacious. Ground is level. Campfire is awesome- so much firewood for use. Drinking water supplied along with a grate for cooking over the fire. Very convenient! Outhouse was clean and odor free. Even supplied toilet paper which I didn’t expect.
Only reason I gave mixed feelings regarding recommendation of site to others is that I feel lucky we were there while the individual who lives full time in the nearby yurt was housesitting elsewhere. I’d have felt a little odd had she been there. You can’t see the yurt from the tent site but you walk past it anytime you’re going to and from the outhouse or to and from your parked car. Further, appears that someone is building a foundation for what looks to be a house just below the tent site. No noise or active construction was happening. And boy we were glad it wasn’t! The woman who lives in the yurt is very kind and helped us out when the outhouse door jammed. She wasn’t sleeping there during our stay but was doing work during the day. Also gave us some info about the sugar bush and land which was nice. I just felt I would’ve worried I was intruding on her had she been staying the night there. But maybe others wouldn’t worry so much.
Overall,the view is beautiful and we enjoyed the camp. But I’m not sure if moving forward I could say the same with possibility of construction plus the yurt being occupied.

What an absolutely wonderful camp site that feels more magic the longer you're there. The hosts were incredible and friendly, the site was comfortable, quiet, affordable, and absolutely gorgeous. Everything you could need for a proper campsite in the woods all in one spot, the tent was huge and comfortable, the land is so big you can hike all around, there's every mountain water flowing in a creek nearby. I can't rate this spot high enough it was just an absolutely wonderful stay, I hope everyone gets to experience this in their life.

Beautiful piece of land to spend time on!! Awesome view of mountains and gazing at the stars at night was incredible! Morgan was incredibly helpful and made sure we all had the best time possible! Don’t forget to buy some of her syrup on the way out.

Morgan’s land was absolutely beautiful! The view of the mountains was wonderful and the orchard itself was so peaceful. The meadows were full of wildflowers and the grassy areas were perfect for setting up camp. The provided outhouse, firewood and drinking water were so helpful without taking away from a very much rustic camping experience. If you go in the summer bring bug spray as the mosquitoes live there too :)
I would highly recommend this stay for anyone looking to camp close to the northern white mountain region! A beautiful space in a lovely area - I would definitely stay again!!

The site was incredible! We had gotten there right before a pretty significant rain fall and Morgan had met us at the bottom and drove up on her atv leading the way. The views were spectacular even with it being alittle bit of a wet night. It was a calm spot with no road noise at all through out the night. The yurt was pretty awesome too!

My son and I were hiking the 4,000 footers in the northern part of the White Mountains. This was a peaceful place to relax at night. Close to Lancaster but quiet and very dark. Never saw so many stars! Thanks!

Second time here ! The new addition of the latrine was a great touch, very clean for doing your business out doors. Our pup really enjoyed the meadow and we love that Morgan offers the off leash policy. We’ll most likely be back again ◡̈

Thanks Morgan! We had a great time! The yurt was a lifesaver - it rained most of the time so it was so nice to have everything easily accessible and dry. Really nice yurt. With the small group, it was warm and comfortable to hang out and most of us slept in it. Unfortunately we didn’t really get to see the mountain views because of all the fog but having such a pretty private area to camp was still really worth it - much better alternative to a rainy day at the state campground we were considering. We stayed late June and I had never seen so many fireflies!!! Absolute highlight. I bought their maple sugar because of the cool story on the label acknowledging the indigenous history and land and apparently woman, queer and family owned! Love it. Outhouse is very clean and right next to the cars - they are down a small hill from the campsite so just being mindful if anyone has mobility issues. Would definitely recommend, my only suggestion is throwing a tarp over the woodpile by the fire if it’s going to rain to keep the logs dry- that was a struggle but we did it! 😂 (admittedly cheating with a couple fire starters) thanks again!

Directions were super clear, plenty of firewood. The grass was pretty long, may want to be careful if bringing dogs like we did. But overall amazing spot

We had a wonderful time ! The site was set up perfectly - nice picnic table, two grate options for cooking over fire, potable water, good sized fire pit, plenty of fire wood, stumps for sitting around the fire, & a larger canvas tent. We had a beautiful view of the orchards and mountains, nice breeze as well. Our pup really enjoyed the off leash policy and had the zoomies a good majority of the time. We saw turkeys on our arrival which was pretty cool. Morgan’s instructions are very helpful and accurate, the spot was easy to find and the solar lights were a nice touch. You won’t regret booking here, we’ve already discussed a return trip.

Gorgeous land, and peaceful tent. Morgan was a very kind host who was available and clear with the instructions/ directions . This camp site has everything you need. We can't wait to book a weekend here , our only regret was staying one night.

Amazing mountainside stay up above a working farm, with maple sap lines creating a friendly backdrop at the edge of the woods and the small plateau. Overlook the valley and sweeping views of mountains for hundreds of miles. Great hosts! Definitely pickup some syrup!
