A unique glamping getaway nestled on a mountainside, near Evans Notch in North Chatham, NH. We have three 10x12 glamping tents tucked away in the forest behind our home. Private and tranquil, each tent has a queen sized bed, with flannel sheets, front porch with 2 Adirondack chairs, 2 camp blankets, a fire pit, picnic table, and the basic cook wear and utensils for meals over a campfire. Follow the camp path to our wooded sanctuary, sleep among the trees, and unwind! Private walking trail on the property! Lots of local hiking, swimming holes, and scenic drives! 5 minutes to Evans Notch, NH 30 minutes to North Conway, NH 20 minutes to Fryeburg, ME 25 minutes to Bethel, ME

Silver Birch is out first pitch-a-tent-site! Tucked away at the back of our camp among silver birch, pines, and maple trees- this is a beautiful spot for you to pitch your tent. South-facing, peaceful and quiet, with a little peek through the trees of the distant mountains. This site has a fire pit, 2 Aidrondak charis, trash bin, a picnic table with cabinet that is stocked with a cast-iron pan, plates and silverware, cups, mugs and a saucepan for boiling water! THERE IS NO TENT HERE- YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN!! We also have a beautiful, clean outhouse nearby, as well as garden wagons for you to bring your gear to the site. Parking is in my driveway. It is a short walk to the site. In winter we are SNOWMOBILE and SNOWSHOE access ONLY! There is a place at the bottom of the hill for trailers, and the snowmobile corridor is a couple hundred feet away! You can sled right out to your tent! We have on-site wedding officiant who offers elopement services year-round, with advanced notice. As well as an option to rent all 4 of our sites (the whole campground!) for a private wedding, retreat, or family adventure! Catch up with the constellations with a perfect view of the night sky from the fire pit! Unplug and unwind at this peaceful mountainside getaway. Close to hiking, biking, climbing and swimming in Evan’s Notch. About a third of a mile walk from the parking spot through our maple grove to get there, tucked inside a beautiful 5 acre wooded lot- Stargazer is our most-loved site. Placed among beech, birch, and maple trees- this site is on the downhill side of the camping area. Private views of the forest and night sky! Lounge on the porch and search for shooting stars, or get up early for a glimpse of the sunrise through the trees! There is a clean and spacious outhouse nearby! Campsite amenities include: -A picnic table, fire pit, camp chairs, and basic cooking supplies- cast iron skillet, tea kettle, grilling utensils, oven mitt, plates, utensils and cups, and a French press! -Adirondack chairs -Two cotton lap blankets -Your queen-sized bed is made with a freshly laundered set of flannel sheets and a light comforter -We also provide garden wagons to help transport your gear : ) We are dog-friendly as long as your dog is well behaved. We have our own pup as well as two cats that may be out in the yard. Please give a heads up if you plan to bring your furry family member. In winter we are SNOWMOBILE and SNOWSHOE access ONLY! Sunny days and starry nights! This site gets lots of warm sunshine! This is our "family" site- sleeps 4 comfortably with a queen sized bunk bed. Retreat to our harmonious mountainside haven to unplug and unwind from your daily grind. About a third of a mile walk through our maple grove to get there, tucked inside a beautiful 5 acre wooded lot. In its own sunny spot across the camp path, Sunnyside is a little oasis in the trees! Facing southeast for a glimpse of the sunrise through the trees, Sunnyside also boasts a grand view of the night sky! Close to the path that leads you out into the one mile walking/biking loop. There is a clean and spacious outhouse nearby! Campsite amenities include: -A picnic table, fire pit, camp chairs, and basic cooking supplies- cast iron skillet, tea kettle, grilling utensils, oven mitt, plates, utensils and cups, and a French press! -Adirondack chairs -Two cotton lap blankets -Your queen-sized bunk bed is made with a freshly laundered set of flannel sheets and a light comforter, 2 pillows -We also provide garden wagons to help transport your gear : ) Our driveway is a half-mile uphill dirt road that is quite steep in some spots! This is why we strongly suggest 4wd- it is part of the adventure : ) No worries if you don’t have it, just drive carefully! Please reach out if you have questions. We are dog-friendly as long as your dog is well behaved. We have our own pup as well as two cats that may be out in the yard. Peaceful forest retreat nestled among the trees- unplug and unwind at our unique mountaintop getaway! Beautiful views of the stars through the trees… wake to birdsong, wander down the path to the yard for sunrise, and enjoy nothing but the day ahead. Switchback is the closest site to the parking area- but its still about a third of a mile walk through our maple grove to get there. Tucked just inside a 5 acre wooded lot, it sits back among maple trees and young hemlock, neatly placed adjacent to the corner of an historic stone wall. There is a clean and spacious outhouse nearby! Had a great time, Lori's property is beautiful and each of her 3 tents are secluded enough for each to have their own experience. The outhouse was kept clean and each tent pad had enough cookware for us to make some great meals plus the tent was water tight through a few rainy days. Evans Notch is a beautiful place and anyone who appreciates the nature of the White Mountains would be lucky to stay at this spot.

Very private and peaceful. We stayed at the stargazer and it was so beautiful at night, literally gazing at the stars all night. Lori was very thoughtful and responsive!

Lori's camp is a little New England oasis with all your glamping essentials. The stars were immaculate, the quiet was complete, and the bed was super comfortable. Lori also has the best outhouses I've ever used in my life. You'll want to hang out in there. I highly recommend her spot to anyone who wants an outdoorsy overnight experience without the hassle of traditional tent camping.

Host was very nice and accommodating as was her pup, Ruby! Campsite is in her backyard but is still very secluded and peaceful. She even has wagons you can use to haul your stuff to the site. Unusual thing to mention but very impressed by her outhouse! Five stars

Another amazing stay at Butter Hill Hideaway! Love everything about this place; so beautiful; peaceful and thoughtful. Comfy bed, outdoor kitchen, ridiculously cute bathroom.. Not sure who enjoyed it more, the 5 girls or the 4 dogs?

Wonderful spot that feels isolated, but close enough to run into some campers from other sites on the well maintained grounds and paths. The site had great amenities and a friendly and welcoming host.

We loved camping on Lori’s property at the Stargazer site. Directions were clear, Loris & Rubey greeted us upon arrival & the site was clean, cozy + private. We hiked Mt Washington & came back to camp to cook steaks over the fire & relax. It was the perfect place to unwind, unplug and be surrounded by nature. Would definitely recommend & hoping to return at some point! Thank you! :)

Lori's place is absolutely incredible! The setting is the perfect place to unplug and just be present to nature and present to one another. I came from Connecticut with my 10-year-old, looking for an opportunity to leave everything behind and just have some fun under the stars. We arrived later than expected and Lori came out to greet us and to tell us how to find our campsite. The tent was clean and welcoming and cozy. I don't know how she made the bathroom as pleasant as she did but she did! There are very artful and thoughtful little things here and there that make the place extra special, like dried flowers in the tent or in the bathroom. She also has a lot of wood there though we brought wood of our own. The property is beautiful. And if you want to get away this is the place to go. And I have a feeling it's going to be the place to be as time goes by because the location and the host lend themselves to a whole cool future. Thank you Lori for giving my daughter and I a memorable night under the stars and a beautiful morning to welcome the Sun..

Loved our extended stay at Lori’s place! Highly recommend! We were looking for a peaceful place to camp in the mountains and she had everything we needed. Very cool outhouse! Lori was very attentive and helped answer all our questions so we were prepared. Very warm and friendly host - we cannot wait to get back! Notables: Lori provides good directions which are necessary so be patient and pay attention. Bring up some firewood and starter. There is an excellent corner store with fresh baked goods, big breakfasts and homemade seafood chowda - recommend!! Take it all in!!

Such a wonderful time at Lori’s place. Our site was just as described with a wonderful fire pit and the night sky full of stars. Lori and her puppy, Ruth, met us on the second day and were just so beautiful and incredible. Lori was very accommodating in every way. Would recommend to anyone looking to get away while having the plush luxury of a wonderful bed and the most comfortable outhouse I have ever experienced

My 2 sisters and I loved our weekend. Our host was warm and welcoming. The campsite was all it was described to be with all of the necessary supplies to have an enjoyable, tranquil weekend. We plan to return with our spouses to share in the experience. What a joy.

We spent two nights at stargazer and had a really nice time. Campsite is secluded and peaceful. Our family of four (two kids) slept comfortably in the tent. Lori was super nice and helpful. A nice spot for a remote getaway.

We had a great time staying at Sunnyside. We loved the bonfire and cooked breakfast and dinner on it! Unfortunately it was a bit of a wet weekend, but we still had a very nice time.

Very cozy and relaxing 2 nights on Butter Hill! Last minute anniversary trip during a rainy-ish week but we were super cozy and dry in the tent. Lori has a beautiful property and a sweet pup Ruby. Highly recommend staying!

The camp was so peaceful. A perfect little get-a-way. The outhouse was the cleanest bathroom we saw the entire trip, it was pristine. The road up was a little scary in the rain but it turned out to not be any issue for my civic.

Last minute booking this spot with an arrival time of almost midnight was the best decision I’ve made lately besides breaking up with my ex. This spot held such sacred and slow , gentle and connected space to reconnect with myself and the land around me. 10/10 for ease, for comfort while still feeling fully immersed in the trees

Such a great glamping experience. The tent is spacious and fit our pack n play for our one year old. The kitchen equipment and prep space is an added touch of convenience that is super helpful. The bathrooms are so clean and bright with plants and beautiful. We stayed in the end of July and had such a great time! You can see the two other tent sites but just barely. Very private feeling.

Do not follow the GPS coordinates; follow Lori's instructions instead, as they were very helpful. We arrived late at night, but Lori ensured she met us and guided us to the campsite. It was a perfect weekend getaway. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the tent and the bathroom—the cleanest I've seen in any of my glamping experiences. The campsite is spacious enough to enjoy comfortably. Would definitely recommend
