PLEASE read all of the details before booking so you book the site that works best for you and also so you understand where you are staying. You will receive messages from us after booking and before your arrival, so please check your Hipcamp inbox. The RV spaces are behind the Baker Fuel and RV gas station. All sites are back-in only and have full hook-ups: 30amp and 50 amp electricity, sewer and water. There is a public bathroom, shower and laundry facility next to the sites. RV Site 5 is closest to the bathroom and RV Site 1 is furthest away. This camping part of the property offers five primitive campsites, situated in a natural, secluded area that was once a pond. Conveniently just south of the only gas station in town and behind the Great Basin Basecamp Airbnb, the sites are close to the highway but sit lower in elevation, providing privacy and shielding them from the road. Guests have access to a small building with clean restrooms, showers and one set of coin-operated laundry facilities for added convenience. Campsite #6 is closest to the restrooms, #10 is the furthest. No campfires as our fire danger is very high most of the year. There are water spigots at Site #6, between #7 and #8 and Site #10. The Lehman Caves Visitor Center at Great Basin National Park is about 5 miles up the road on Highway 488.

These are primitive campsites. Site 8 is in the middle, third from the restroom building. There is a tent space and space for a vehicle, small RVs, travel trailers, etc. There’s about 25 feet of room for the vehicle and RV. Guests have access to the building with restrooms and showers and there is water available by the site and behind the building at the gas station. These are primitive campsites. Site 10 is furthest from from the restroom building and last on the end on the right. There is space for a vehicle and a tent. Guests have access to the building with restrooms and showers and there is water available at the site and behind the building at the gas station. The driveway in this site cannot accommodate a large RV but a camper van and smaller RV can back in and stay on the road above and you would be fine. No one needs to get by and the road ends at this site. If you’re tent camping, you may want to bring sturdy stakes to drive into the compacted gravel, depending on where you choose to place the tent. There is a picnic table at the site. No campfires, or open flames of any kind, are permitted. If you’re traveling as a family and have more than 4 people, that is not a problem.

There is a tent space and space for a vehicle, small RVs, travel trailers, etc. There’s about 25 feet of room for the vehicle and RV. We’ve been told by guests that it was difficult to fit larger trailers along with their truck, so be aware. Guests have access to the building with restrooms and showers and there is water available next to the site and behind the building at the gas station. There is a picnic table at the site. No campfires, or open flames of any kind, are permitted. Everything worked. The place was clean. A large parking lot in front of the spaces makes it easy to back in the bathroom and shower was clean, pretty bare bones. There's no shade or trees or anything but it was still nice. My only complaint is the garbage can is like a long way. There's no garbage cans. There's a dumpster that's pretty far away close to the caves that's what we wanted to do. So it was convenient. Not expensive. Not cheap. Fair price. Just would be nice if there was some garbage cans. That's all

We loved tent camping at Janille's land. The gravel pad for the tent was great so our tent wasn't in the dirt and dust. The bathroom and showers were great and clean. We loved seeing the stars at night. We also heard coyotes during the night and saw some deer in the morning.

Loved it! The view from the red chairs on the hill behind the campground was terrific. Enjoyed the sunset. RV sites & Restrooms are very clean and showers are hot. The location to town and Great Basin are ideal. Sunday, went to the Community Church and received a very warm welcome. We'll return and stay at Janille's- Baker is a wonderful town with warm hospitality.

The campground is located for easy access to Great Basin. Able to walk into town. Level sites with full hookups which is nice. We were in Site 1, located adjacent to a private dirt road. Would be nice to have a barrier placed along the road to limit dust. Kids were riding ATV's along the road which kicked up a lot of dust.

The site was perfect!! I was exactly what we needed to explore Great Basin National Park. The shower/bathroom area was clean. We were able to do laundry and they worked well and were clean. We got to enjoy some Mule Deer a few of our mornings as we watched them graze outside our tent. It was peaceful and beautiful. What an excellent place to stay. Would recommend to anyone.

Great place to stay when visiting Great Basin NP. The spaces are wide with concrete table pads. The sites are level. Restrooms are very clean. There is no shade so it does get hot. Thid is by far the better of the two campgrounds in Baker.

We loved our stay here. It’s behind a gas station, but it’s really just two pumps and kind of a a building behind. The the campsite is all backed up to a really cool open area that you look over the field. It’s just beautiful you can walk into town, which was great. Going to the merchant and get some pizza. We loved this site :) it was probably the closest thing we could’ve gotten to the park, which was great because our trailer (24’) was too long for most of the campgrounds inside GBNP. Unfortunately we chose to leave early due to smoke from local wildfires, but I’d definitely recommend staying here! The showers/bathrooms were very clean, and the hookups worked perfectly! The campground is simple (lot behind a gas station) but it did its job perfectly :) I’d like to come back in spring or fall (when it’s not so hot) and stay here again! Great value for the price

The RV sites are wide and paved with clean gravel and very level. The hookups are well laid out and clean. The bathrooms and showers are very clean. The RV park is very close to the Great Basin NP and makes for easy access to the park. There is a gas station in front of the RV park which is very convenient. I highly recommend this RV park.

Nice location, close to the park. Clean restrooms and shower area as well laundry. The wind was blowing our tent down but fixing tighter guy lines on the rain fly took care of that. It was cloudy the night we camped but I think if you looked away from the gas sign you’d have good stargazing.

We spent two nights here with our fifth wheel, and it couldn’t have worked out better. The location is fantastic—just minutes from the entrance to Great Basin National Park, making it the perfect base camp for exploring Wheeler Peak, Lehman Caves, and the incredible dark night skies. The RV site was level, spacious, and had reliable full hookups. Everything worked exactly as it should. Don’t let the location behind the fuel station fool you—it was surprisingly quiet, convenient, and offered beautiful panoramic mountain views in every direction. If you’re looking for a clean, convenient, affordable, and well-equipped place to stay while visiting Great Basin National Park, this is it. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and will absolutely recommend it to anyone traveling through Baker. Thanks for helping make our Great Basin adventure such a memorable one!
