We had the most wonderful weekend get away. Its a great place to disconnect from screens and get back in touch with nature. It was a beautiful wooded area right on the lake. The wood burning stove was so nice and warm. It was the perfect place to relax and reset with friends. The cabin itself comes with everything you could need with a warm rustic ambiance. Will definitely visit again.

It truly is a special place. The cabin, lake, sunrises, the loons and swans and the stars! the wind through the pines and the quiet, I loved it all. The cabin all by itself is extraordinary but add all the rest to it and it was simply magical. I canāt wait to return.

This was our second trip and it was just as great as the first! My husband hates camping but he loves this cabin! Perfect blend of rustic outdoors with comfortable, modern amenities. Our 3 kids love it too! It's very peaceful and private. Highly recommend for families or anyone looking to rent a nice cabin!

We had a great time disconnecting from the busy city life. The cabin was so cozy and it was amazing to be able to take a hot shower after a long chilly fall day. We will definitely be back with friends. There was so many places for people to sleep.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin in the woods. It was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The atmosphere struck the perfect balance between rustic charm and modern comfort, making it feel like a true escape from the busy everyday routine.
The lake view was the highlightāabsolutely stunning at sunset. Sitting on the deck with coffee in hand while listening to the sounds of nature was pure peace. Itās the perfect spot to unwind, recharge, and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. Iād happily return and highly recommend it!

Our stay (three nights) at Harvest Loon was excellent! The rustic feel of the log cabin, combined with all the appreciated amenities (Full kitchen, Beautiful Bathroom, wood burning stove, fire ring outdoors, plenty of firewood) was perfect! The privacy of the property was amazing and the lake view was sublime! The beds were all comfortable and we loved the shower. Harvest Loon is located just 30 minutes from anywhere you'd want to go up in the Brainard, Pequot, Nisswa, Cross Lake area. We highly recommend!

What a place! Harvest Loon Camp was just as described and all the photos, but so much more in person.
A wonderful and peaceful spot, with direct views across the lake. We stayed 4 days in August (Mon-Fri) and only once saw someone else on the lake; it was like the whole lake was our own private retreat.
The kids loved the beach, and the two canoes. The cabin was spacious, even with 6 of us (2 adults and 4 children). Kitchen was well equipped, plus small grill and big fire pit!
Directions to the cabin and entry instructions were spot on and easy to follow.

We absolutely loved harvest loon cabin! The screened in porch kept the bugs away while still listening to the loons and playing cards into the night. Modern amenities in the perfect cabin for a weekend getaway. The cabin was very private but easy to find. Barely any signal made for a great off the grid weekend while being close enough to town for any last minute necessities. Highly recommend checking out little Emily park for swimming and trails. Human and dog approved

What an amazing gem! Even nicer than expected and well stocked. For those wondering, the bathroom is attached and is really nice and includes a shower. Secluded but town is nearby. So relaxing!

Loved this cabin! It was interesting to learn about the history of the cabin as well as the train car on the property. A lot of horse flies but mosquitos werenāt bad. We brought our dog here for a weekend away and it was a perfect secluded spot! Beware of bear in the area - we had to cut our campfire short to a bear walking through the property!

I visited Harvest Loon Camp on a girls getaway late spring and knew immediately I needed to book it for a family weekend in the summer. We had a wonderful time for both visits! My kids are little (2 & 4) and loved the sandy beach and swim area. The fire pit area is well kept and we loved eating our meals in the screened in porch. It's the area is private and wildlife is abundant. We would've loved to have caught some fish off the dock but they weren't biting during our stay.

My family & I enjoyed harvest loon camp! Although we overpacked, everything was & provided for us, from bedsheets to pillows, blankets, pots, pans, mosquito spray & charcoal! The place was well cleaned & organized. It was such a cute & cozy place! Will definitely be renting again! The host was also fast at replying & accommodating!

The cabin and land it was on was beautiful! Felt very immersed in nature while there - youāre far from main roads so almost no sounds of traffic. Great place for a reset!

Absolutely Beautiful!!! We rented the cabin for an Anniversary getaway. We loved the fact there was no TV and the only clock was on the stove. Had a fantastic stay and will definitely go again. Probably invite friends next time as there is plenty of room and beds.

The cabin is clean and cozy. The kitchen has everything you need - you don't need to bring any pans or cooking utensils. Important note: the description says that the bunk is a twin bunk. It is not. It is two full-sized beds (not queens), bunked one on top of the other. There is another bed in the other room which is a twin. The kitchen and bathroom have separate heating that was very warm. The main sleeping/living/dining room has baseboard heating and the wood stove, and that room was a little harder to get warm - bring warm blankets and sleeping clothes. It was very quiet, not many homes on the lake, and the cabin is far enough off the main road that we couldn't see or hear cars. We were able to find the cabin easily from the directions. We wished it was closer to hiking trails; like a lot of the state forests in that area it seemed that a lot of the trails are for ATVs or snowmobiles. But we will keep looking. We did get snow while we were there and got out on the lake in snowshoes which was wonderful.
