The tiny home was perfect for a weekend getaway! Had a nice campfire, went for a paddle, and enjoyed the coziness.

Absolutely loved this place. The walk to the lake was really only about 3 minutes, on a well groomed path. The lake was beautiful and peaceful. Enjoyed taking the boats out and throwing our lines out a few times. The campsite was clean, large and well kept. Plenty of firewood. Extra bonus having a stocked camper there in cases you forget something. Outhouse was clean and well kept. Our host was a great communicator and had great information! We definitely plan on coming back again!! Thanks for a wonderful place💕

We had a great time! The RV was nice and had a gas stove and sleeps 4 comfortably. Lots of room for tents on the land. The short distance to the lake was awesome and we fished, watched the sunset and swam. The canoe and boat were there to use as well as lots of firewood.
Thanks for the great weekend! We would love to come again!

We had a great time! The site was mostly secluded. The neighbor kids you could see and hear ride their atvs and the owners dogs were quite loud at times. Our first night nearby neighbors threw a party til 1am. Other than that it was pretty quiet and we didn't see other people.
The lake is a 5-10 minute walk. So be prepared to go through the woods to get there but in the heat the lake was a great relief and nice and cool. The dock could be repaired I'd be careful. It was mostly empty lake but big enough to do a few laps. We mostly lounged in our tubes.
Firewood was supplied but slightly over half of it was rotten or wet which was a drag. Bring some dry to complement theirs.
The area was clear and overall a relaxing space with enough room for multiple tents without a struggle to put our stakes in.
We didn't use the camper but it was clean! A bit musty but nothing some open windows wouldn't fix. They supplied quite a few things inside the camper.
The owner was friendly and easygoing. We met at his house once at the beginning and then never saw him again.

We had a great stay. Charles was a lovely host and provided a lovely area to be. Kayak fishing yielded several large Northern. Didn't really use the trailer much, camped in tents around. Saw northern lights, heard a lot of cranes and geese. Easy trip over to Banning State Park from here.

Great weekend spot. Enjoyed the stroll to the dock/lake. Never ending firewood. Camper was a bonus during some rain. Grill and outhouse need some attention but totally usable. Will definitely be back. Thanks to the hosts!

Great place to camp! Has a little bit of everything plus extras. Awesome location to look at the stars & a nice big open area to pitch tents or play yard games.charles was awesome as well & very accomidation. We will definitely want to camp here Shein! Thanks Charles!

Nice and quiet. He had a lot of games to play with. Although we didn't use the camper we did peek inside and it was nice and clean. We really appreciated having a boat to use and at camp he really had anything needed for grilling or use in the fire pit.

Quiet, lots of shade for a hot weekend. The camper had a lot of extras if we forgot anything. The yard games were great. We would like to bring the kids next time :)

Charles’s land holds a certain kind of magic. I was lucky enough to spend 9 days here alone, and I wish I could send everyone I love to do the same. I was seeking solitude when I arrived, and I found everything I was looking for. In my 9 days I saw no one after Charles showed me to the sight. He is wonderful, and understood my request. Charles is kind, generous, and easy to communicate with. And best of all, he’s right there if you need him, and leaves you in total peace if you don’t. I had the lake to myself every time I paddled, every day. The trail to the water is gorgeous, passing between the pond and the lake. And the area is teeming with wildlife. Loon calls lull you to sleep each night, and deer walk through the meadow each morning. The lake had four loons, two swans, and a kingfisher among many others. It is truly a place of serenity, on the water and among the trees, surrounded by flowers, birds and bees. The trailer is comfortable and far more spacious than it looks. I recommend this magical, getaway to anyone seeking quality time with themself. Turn off your phone while you’re here, sit still, and let the magic unfold. Thank you, Charles.

Such a cute spot! Plenty of room for our group of 6. The camper was quite the bonus space & well stocked with lots of "last minute forgotten " things like sleeping bags & a rain jacket. Charles was very friendly & always got back to us very quickly.

This was an amazing property! It had a few different options for putting up our tents, a campfire area, a nice place for playing yard games and stargazing, and a scenic trail to the lake. There was also an RV on the site that had a gas stove, which we didn’t end up using, but was nice to have as a backup in case we needed it. The weekend we went was HOT. We thought we might not make it camping the whole weekend due to the expected temps in the 90s, but the lake was so refreshing and the shade was plentiful with our canopy tent and the trees. We had never camped before without a water source or electricity and we had no problems without them. We weren’t sure our teenagers would cope well, but they had such great time on the property, it was a small miracle. The nature just brought out the best in all of us. It was so peaceful. We cannot wait to go back!

When we arrived to the host's address there was a disconnect between where we assumed the house was located, based on a tip from the host, and where our maps was telling us to go. Because of this we erred on the side of caution and contacted the host through the app while we waited on the road. It turned out we were at the right place. And for some reason the host was furious with us. We were scolded for not just turning in the drive, and for going past his place where Google was directing us. He then proceeded to hop on his atv and tear off in a huff, while we followed nervously out to the site. His mood did not much improve while we were showed around the site. We stayed one night, were very uncomfortable as we sure didn't feel welcome, and left the next morning. I would not recommend this site to anyone.

This was a great place to unplug, listen to the loons, and get back in the Spring swing of things.
The trailer was comforting and rustic. Lots of spots to set up tents outside and have some privacy too. We chose to take it easy and stay inside. The candlelit cozy space was quite soothing.
Charles was helpful, honest and had a handful of good jokes. I’d happily stay here again. Watch out for the Sasquatch!

We stayed two nights at the Fish Lake getaway. Charles is very generous and made sure we felt comfortable. At night the sky is beautiful and open, there was plenty of firewood to keep us warm! In a small shed were some activities to keep us busy. Taking the fishing boat out was a weekend highlight.

Charles’ property was wonderful. Nice walking paths down to the water/dock area. We all had so much fun exploring the area, fishing in the boat there and just enjoying our time. The farm fresh eggs were the cherry on top! Charles and his wife were so friendly and accommodating and great communication! The camper surprised us in being much bigger than we thought, plenty of space for kennels to keep the pups cool and the bed was nice so we didn’t have to set up our tent!

Charles was very welcoming and an awesome host. It's very private, very quiet, we opted to use the camper instead of setting up the tent due to weather. Camper was perfect to keep us out of the storms that rolled through. From showing us around on his ATV to letting us use his boat this place was great!

The place was absolutely perfect! It was nice to have mix of sunny open area and shaded trees. Plenty of fire wood to enjoy when the evenings get a little buggy. The place was secluded and peaceful. Use of the camper came in handy to store food items and such. The lake was nice, plenty of loons and even saw a pair of swans. Charles was a great host!

Chuck had a nice set up tucked back near the lake. It was fun to take the boat out and catch a few fish. Having the camper on site was very useful since the weather wasn't ideal at times. Lots of hiking and fishing options nearby. Great place to stay!

Charles, the host is awesome! He was available to answer our questions on both phone and text.
We loved the property and stayed in the camper though there is plenty of space for a large tent. Surrounded by birch trees and a field, don't be surprised if you see deer, eagles, owls, loons etc. The music of the loons and owls at night was magical.
Charles went above and beyond supplying us with fresh eggs from his free range chickens and setting up a trolling motor on his boat which we paid a little extra for.
We heard no traffic other than wildlife and highly recommend you stay here. The outhouse even has a light for night!

We had a nice time at this campsite. Host was nice, he met us outside when we arrived and had us follow him to the campsite, but otherwise left us to our privacy. Campsite was nice, plenty of space to set up our big tent. There is a lake with a dock down a short trail, unfortunately, the lake was too low for us to utilize the dock, but we were able to make a path through some long grasses to get our canoe in. I imagine when the water is normal this would be a very nice docking area.
The only thing we didn't appreciate was the fairly constant traffic noise and also some neighbor dogs (I assume) were very loud a few times a day. Overall, we really enjoyed this secluded site.
