Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Hello and welcome! I have a few areas on the property that You can use to suit your needs. you can tent camp or vehicle camp at some and park and walk about 100 feet or so and tent camp only. there is power and water available on the property but not at each site. I am developing this into a place for camping slowly and that's why i only have a few areas as of right now. Unfortunately, there are no bathrooms to use yet. Update: gps for maps is in correct and takes to to neighbors driveway and home . The mail box for this place is blue and has a red address Tag and a sign that says Sailors Sky. Please turn immediately at mailbox. It has caused problems with having people on neighbors property with flashlights and police being called due to incorrect gsuspicious activity.

Power and water available by storage trailer area at top of the drive. you can tent here or park and sleep . No late check in. Checking in before 9pm only.

We enjoyed our two night stay here. Secluded and quiet. Our children had a blast exploring and playing. Mosquitoes were heavy. Definitely bring plenty of bug spray.

Super easy to book, close to a town but still secluded. Easy to locate and navigate and very private, gorgeous wildflowers and scenery just bring plenty of bug spray! Had last minute availability on a super busy holiday weekend

I enjoyed Alexanders land and he was very accommodating. I had everything I needed for a comfortable evening. Alex was very accommodating and the property was clean. I was able to enjoy a fire and there was free wood available. Thanks for making trip to the UP and my last camping trip of the year special.

When we stayed at this site, the host had great communication with us on how to get there and what to expect when we got there. It was private but when we went we only had one other guest with us. Host was very relaxed and caring. I would stay at this place again!

Alexander was a FANTASTIC host! This was the first time using Hipcamp and I wasn’t sure what to expect. Alexander made the process a breeze! He took pictures of where to set up and sent them to me with detailed instructions, went above and beyond to make sure we had enough hose and cords for our camper (although we always keep an abundance of both with us), and was very personable. His property is secluded and quiet. Remember that this is the middle of the woods so no matter what, there are bugs. We had absolutely no problem with that as we sprayed around our camper with grass bug repellent and kept a table top tiki torch going next to our camper door which kept any pests from coming into our camper. There is an RV on the property that Alexander rents out next to the site we were on. He came and introduced himself to us as one morning as he was getting the camper ready to re-rent and gave us lots of information about where to go and what to see. This was seriously the very best camping spot our family has had this far and we’ve been camping for years!! Thank you Alexander for a fantastic time with lots of memories made! We will definitely come back to see you!!!

This spot was a nice lil place to pitch a tent or pull up a camper! The host of this property was awesome when we had struggles with our gps he was super responsive and helpful. ***Note if you’re using Google Maps you may have an issue finding this spot. Our Apple Maps gps found the spot but the address on the mailbox at the top of the property don’t match. Also if you’re visiting in the summer months don’t forget bug spray & consider bringing wood to have a fire to help ya with the bugs. (Fire ring on property) The host also kept the property mowed & had a nice porta potty!
