The campsite was super private. It was very quiet. We fished on the pond and enjoyed the animals. We enjoyed the horse ride so much that we took a second and my daughter is now obsessed. The coolest unexpected surprise was the abundance of animals. We pet baby Turkeys and a grownup turkey, kittens, dogs, horses. We saw a baby cow and chickens -but we couldn’t catch them :)
Almost all of the animals were eager to cuddle. They are all so well cared for and loved. The portapotty was a hike if you’re not into squatting but it was otherwise wonderful. We will absolutely be back.

Our first Hipcamp! Wonderful experience. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant and peaceful as possible. We had a very relaxing weekend listening to the birds and the frogs. Watching deer in the meadow. Hiking on their horse trails. We highly recommend this ranch for a weekend getaway. Great place for dogs and kids!

Liz and Carson were great host. Welcoming greeting, greet communication.s. Property is great, rustic and peaceful. I’m coming back soon to spend more time with horses and hosts. Really a peaceful stop before next leg of the trip.

We had such a great time staying at the ranch. Liz and her husband were very kind and accommodating. They are clearly passionate about the ranch, rescuing horses, and providing their guests with a great experience. Both campsites and the surrounding property are beautiful. Several deer visited our site throughout the night. We were able to take a morning horseback ride through the woods. It was a magical weekend and we will definitely be returning.

Peaceful Horse Ranch Retreat
We stayed on the hilltop site and loved it!! Although it was on ranch property, it was far away enough from the house where there was complete privacy. We have a pop-up camper and both our truck and camper were able to maneuver around easily. All the animals on the property were a real treat, and our horseback ride was also great. Loved waking up to neighing horses. Will be staying again

This is a great place to camp and the owners are wonderful. We saw so many different types of birds not to mention their turkeys and chickens that will pop by the pond for a drink of water. The horses are very friendly and we went on a ride through the woods. There's a portapotty which is always a huge plus at hipcamps.

Very peaceful with all the sounds of nature. Secluded but with many nearby attractions. The hosts were great about giving us our space, but were easy to get in touch with if we needed anything. We took them up on their offer for a horse back ride and it was so much fun. We had a great time and would recommend staying here.
