My quite spot has a place for everyone! It is within 14 miles from everything that starts, the up north attitude. Whether your just looking for a private camp site or a quick place to safely park and catch some sleep for a few hours. Check out site # 5 thru #7, designated for Van, & RV Lifers, needing a safe place to rest for up to 12 hours. For the campers coming to find some great activity, you found it! From kayaking, canoeing, hiking, tubing, Muskegon river Dragon bike trail. Croton & Hardy Dam are both within minutes. I am also on the M.O.R.E. bike trail. ( Michigan Off Road Expedition ) Within just a few miles from both the White Pine Trail and the NCT. So, if your on a trail, need a break. I got you a spot! 12 Miles from Newaygo, and only a few miles from local dinning and lounges. 6 Miles from Croton dam. Which is one of the most popular drop off spots for tubing, kayaking, canoeing.. 6 miles from Howard City, Where you can hit the White Pine Trail. 3 miles off 131, and just 25 minutes from Big Rapids. If you like camping WITHOUT 200 others, you'll love this. Each site is stocked with wood. this is limited. Additional wood can be purchased, for longer stays, please message in advance. Horseshoe pits, along with community fire pit. Each site has its own fire pit for privacy. With more being added all the time. With Golfer's Putter Pool coming next on the playing field! All sites are a foot ball field from my dwelling. All sites are stocked with a limited amount of wood, daily.

Site # 1 Tucked Away in the woods, very open site with the shade of trees all around. This large site can easily fit two large tents. Shaded most of the day. Very private, fire ring provided, along with some wood to get you started.

Site 2 is a smaller site, nestled in the tree's. Will easily fit two average tents or two hammocks or combination. Well shaded through the day. Yet plenty of room to expand on the edge of the site. The front side is in the open, where your fire pit is located. There is plenty of space there for a tent.

This site is also, located next to the camp drive leading to site 1 & 2. If you are wanting to book this site for RV, please message prior to booking. The pricing is set for tent campers, but easily can accommodate an RV.

Site # 4 is RV or Group site, water hook-up available. No dump station or sewer hook up. Electric hook up is limited to 20 amp ( for now). You can have a tent along with RV or camper, and 1 vehicle on this site. there is over flow parking, available. Please ask where.

Site # 5 sleepy time

Vehicle site · Sleeps 2 · Vehicles under 20 ft
Site # 5 thru # 7 are for "Stop over's" only. (WINTER TIME SPOT MAY VERY) No camping activity. You must be fully contained, there are no restrooms available, to these sites. This site is for 12 hours or less, no outside cooking, awning, or set up allowed. Nothing more then a simple chair. These sites have no amenities, and are designed for a safe place to park and sleep. If you are interested in a full camp site with amenities view site 1 thru 4. Those sites have full access to flushing toilet, potable water, electric for recharging. Private fire pits completely stocked with wood, horse shoe pits, and so much more.

SITE # 1 Tucked Away
I lived tent camping on Laurie’s beautiful land, it was very private with lots of trees, and a very clean restroom. I would recommend this site to other campers! Laurie was also very helpful and incredibly friendly :) 10/10 experience for both my boyfriend and I!!

Laurie was the perfect host!! This was an overnight stop for us on our journey home from the upper peninsula. We came in late at night but Laurie still made sure we got to where we were supposed to be. She was even up the next morning with a pit of coffee on for us before we continued our journey. We were very impressed by the kindling and firewood provided at each site!! Thank you Laurie for providing us with a safe place to land even though it was late!!

SITE # 1 Tucked Away
We had a great time on Laurie’s land. She was a super hospitable person and made sure we had everything we could possibly need! There were other sites close by, but our site neighbors were super quiet and respectful. It was a peaceful spot and it was great to be able to use a flushing toilet and wash my hands when tent camping. Would definitely recommend!

Our little camp spot was nestled among some beautiful oak trees that made us feel secluded. The fire pit and campfire wood was a super nice bonus and we enjoyed a fire each of the two nights we stayed. Laurie’s attention to our comfort and answering our questions was excellent. I felt very comfortable, and will definitely camp there again.
